Well, for whatever unknown reason the dinner packages aren't available to the DL folks via the phone either. She said she didn't know why. Just appears the dates/times didn't get loaded. **sigh** I really want to get this booked. It's the only thing we want to book for this trip. Will keep checking back. Cross your fingers for me.

As of right now you cannot book a WoC dining package after Jan 6th, I would think that means the refurb is pretty much a done deal.

Jumping in here to see if you January travellers know more about the refurbs than us February travellers.

Just rang Vacation planning this morning to try and book for 25 Jan (a Sunday) and they couldn't find any bookings for it either... I also asked them to look on other days and they are going to get back to me ....who knows what's happening?

I checked again last night by going into the Fantasmic! packages page and checking availability from there. It only showed clickable calendar days thru the 24th. I think they don't have anymore loaded into the system yet. I'm watching. That's the only table service meal we wanted to book. Without the F! package we hadn't planned to do any reservations. Of the F! package options, this is the one we wanted to try. Hopefully we'll get it worked out.

They just confirmed the Frozen fun area at DCA starting January 7th! We are excited to see the dance party, etc!

I have been reading about it, so excited!!! We were bummed that we missed WDW Frozen by a week. Very happy we will be there a week after it starts and I already booked my DD with an appt. at Anna & Elsa Boutique! This made my day.

My daughter is so excited for all the Frozen Fun! She's going to be bouncing off the wall for the next four weeks!

Now to figure out the best way to add pages to the Shutterfly autograph book I already had printed. Do you think Olaf and/or the Marshmallow character will be able to sign autographs? Do you think Kristoff will be meeting with folks after the shows? I know it's all speculation at this point but didn't know if anyone may have experience from WDW that may give us an idea.

I finally got around to making our first hotel reservations and paying a ridiculous tax on the groupon I had. I'm kinda starting to worry about the cost but I'm sure I'll get over it soon lol. I'm kinda excited for the new Frozen area! My friends daughter that I watch LOVES the movie and we watch it every week when I've got her, so I'll be on the lookout for some exclusive merch when we're there.

Very curious to hear the reviews of the Fantasmic package next week. We may drop our dessert package if there are not rave reviews and book Goofy's Kitchen instead. I am considering changing our park plans since the announcement of Frozen Fun starting on the 8th. I think it is going to make DCA very crowd heavy. We are not planning park hoppers since we have 5 park days planned. Not doing PH saves us enough for a character meal.

We are there the 9-13 and many area schools don't go back to school until the 12th. Might plan F! For the 12th with a regular FP. Decisions, decisions.

So my husband's boss told my husband last week they may have to plan a work trip the week of our first ever family Disney trip, and we might have to move our trip. Likely we'll go the week after, so the first week in February now. We started planning this trip in April...booked flights on miles in July and hotel was booked in September. I'm a Type A planner to the max and this has thrown a huge kink in my plans. I've literally had a headache since Friday when I found this out. Now it looks like my husband will go on the work trip and fly to Anaheim and meet us. One benefit is his flight is paid for now. On the other hand, that leaves ME to pack everything and get through the airport with my carry-on, my son's carry-on, carseat and stroller. I'm already stressing!

I just had to vent! ARGH!! The worst part is not knowing yet...hopefully we'll know something within a day or two and I can scramble and rebook everything. I'm overwhelmed because we booked flights on miles and I called American Airlines (or American't as I graciously refer to them) and tried to figure out the fees we'll incur switching everything. That way I know how much to tell my husband his work owes us for making us change all this!

Regardless, we're still going! Just not sure when now.

So yesterday morning I checked the F! dinner packages and our dates were still not showing. I checked again before going to bed and BAM the dates were on the calendar but no availability for both the 30th & 31st. I just didn't see how that could be. Did they reeeeaaally sell out those 2 dates that fast???? So I called. The lady checked and she saw nothing available for BB F! on our 2 nights. She said she could give me a BB reservation and I could go get my own F! FP. Nope. We weren't going to book anything besides the dinner package. I explained about waiting & waiting, checking & checking and how disappointed I was that all the reservations disappeared so fast. So she put me on hold, spoke with a manager, and supposedly they created a package for me as a 1 time thing. Not sure how that works or whatever but I was grateful and took it. After a long wait and a bit of pixie dust, we got it! BB F! dinner package on 1/30 @ 5:00! Yay!
