Except for Jungle Cruise, the others are suppose to be refurb until Mid May

Jungle cruise should be a short one to remove the holiday overlay, from what others on the boards have said.

Jan 10-14, DL Hotel. Going with my husband for our 20th anniversary.

I'm OK with Matterhorn and Soarin' being down while I'm there....but Pacific Wharf Cafe? I almost cried....

Why does Matterhorn seem to get rehabbed more often than other rides? Is there more to maintain?

OK regulars - the calendar is only through January 11th, is it usually this far behind I've heard DL does not post hours as fast as WDW but it is only 1-1/2 months out, I'm worried they are waiting to post the 12th going forward since it is rumored SOOOO many refurbs start that day they don't want to scare people away until last minute - we can't change our plans going no matter what but I'd kinda like to at least know what time parks will be open so I can plan stuff.

I agree - it's starting to concern me a bit that I'm not going to have time to do a trip plan.

Sad I'm going to be missing Matterhorn and World of Color but at least it seems the other items that will be down during my trip are all things I can experience at WDW too.

I'm bummed also esp since this is our first DL trip but overall looking forward to experiencing the other rides. Gives another reason to go back lol

I'm thinking WoC will not go down as noted on that previous list. There were rumors that F! Would show daily during WoC's refurb. This totally made sense with the dinner package rollout. Instead if losing revenue for all those days from the WoC dinner packages they could add F! packages/showings and soften that blow. Well we arrive on Wednesday the 28th and there's no F! packages available. I wasn't sure if that was a glitch in the system since its new but others seem to be booking online just fine. Looks like F! isn't showing during the week so maybe the WoC refurb is postponed?

As of right now you cannot book a WoC dining package after Jan 6th, I would think that means the refurb is pretty much a done deal.

Official list for Jan 12. DLR is up. WTP. Pooh corner. HM. Splash Mt Matterhorn. Capt EO are all closed

Hadn't checked those. Good point. I'm surprised they aren't adding more F! performances to fill in. Interesting. :)

But they are! :). F! Usually goes to weekends only in January. They have performance most nights on the calendar so far.

I still can't book a F! package online for Wednesday 1/28 thru Friday 1/30. I'm sure F! will show on Friday. Will be calling in to see what's up with that. :)

We usually plan a January visit that includes MLK day. We had booked our hotel as soon as the dates became available. We were just about to buy our airfare when Mouseplanet leaked the refurb list. I was quite surprised, considering the Star Wars race was that week.

Haunted Mansion and Splash are my family's favorites. It has been a couple of years since we all have been to DL, so the news was disappointing. We made the decision to move our trip to the 9-13th. A shorter trip, but we hoped to ride our favorites before they closed on the 12th. Hotel changed, airfare bought and Mouseplanet pulled the list. Lol

We love DL, but as they continue to draw more out of state tourist they need to put forth an effort in their calendar. It is ironic that WDW guests often complain that seven months out isn't enough....try planning when the calendar is six weeks out. The calendar has the refurbs, but has yet to add the park hours.

Yes! I wonder if this means no bowl bowls anywhere in the park. :(

A couple of years ago we traveled during January and the entire Critter Country was closed. (Looks like that is happening again with the exception of Hungry Bear with it's F! Dessert pkg). I was in Town Hall and had an opportunity to speak with a CM. He said that many of these refurbs are actually seasonal shut downs when crowds are low. I have seen many posts on blogs, etc that seem to confirm this.
