Official 'how to get from point A to point B while at WDW' thread.

OK we're staying at CBR in March - so if I'm understanding things using Disney only transportation the following scenarios are accurate/possible? Obviously direct me otherwise if not!!

8:05 pm dinner reservation at Ohana:
- Bus stop at CBR by 7:05
- Take bus to MK
- Monorail to Polynesian

8:40 am breakfast reservation at 1900 Park Fare then onto Epcot for the day:
- Bus stop at CBR by 7:40 am
- Take bus to MK
- Monorail to Grand Floridian
- After breakfast Monorail back to MK then change to Monorail for Epcot?

5 pm dinner reservation at Cape May Cafe from AK, then back to CBR for the night:
- bus from AK by 4 pm to Disney's Beach Club from AK?
- After dinner, bus to MK, then bus to CBR?

I really wish Disney would get an app like the NYC Subway system has where you can plug in your starting point and ending point and they tell you how to get there!!!!

There's an app like that, but it's exceedingly unreliable: http://www.ourlaughingplace.com/aspx/twiz.aspx
I don't think you're allowing enough time either morning. I think you'll need 90 minutes to get anywhere that early in the morning. The monorail is going to take you 15-20 minutes in transit time, not counting waiting time, since the Poly and Grand Floridian are the third and fourth stop.

For dinner at Cape May, you can walk or take the boat to Hollywood Studios and catch a bus back to CBR from there, if the park is still open. A bus to MK would take you about 8 miles out of your way. If you have park hopper tickets, you could walk from Epcot's international gateway to the front of the park for a bus.

What's the best way to get to Trails End for Breakfast at 9:15 from CBR on our departure day. We want to have a good breakfast before we fly home. We won't have a car, but can take a cab if need be but was hoping there is an easier way.
You could take a bus to MK, and then the boat to Fort Wilderness. You should allow 90 minutes, so be at your CBR bus stop at 7:45. The boats start running 1/2 hour before MK opens, so if it's a 9am open, you'll probably be on the 1st boat leaving MK. The boats from CR to FtW start earlier, at about 7am, so if you get o MK earlier, you could walk to CR and get the boat there (or ask the bus driver if you can be dropped off at CR.)

Taxis can't go directly to Trails End; the closest you can get by taxi is WL. There is a bus from WL to FtW that goes directly to the Settlement where Trails End is; it runs about every 15 min. and is only a 5 min. ride.

If you'll be taking Disney Transport back to the resort to catch ME, make sure you again allow at least 90 minutes.

You should allow 90 minutes traveling between resorts. If it's a nice night, you might want to take the boat from MK to Poly. The boat will stop at GF on the way, but the monorail will stop at CR & TTC, so travel time by boat should be just a few minutes more.

Again, allow 90 minutes between resorts. Unless MK is opening at 8, the boats likely won't be running early enough, so you'll be taking the monorail, or a bus if the monorail is late opening. Ask the driver on the bus from CBR if the bus is going to GF after MK; some do in the morning.

The Epcot Monorail runs to TTC, not MK, so you'll be taking the monorail from GF to TTC.

Bus from AK is correct. As PP said, if DHS is open, walk (about 1 mi.) or take the boat to DHS and get the bus to CBR there. Or, you could take a taxi or Uber; the 2 resorts are physically not far apart, so taxi fare would probably be around $10. Or, if you want to stay out later, you can take a bus to Disney Springs, shop around and check out some of the entertainment, and then get a bus from there to the resort.

i believe a while back i was given a website to look at outgoing flights at mco. we added an off property hotel onto the end of our trip and want to take me back to airport later than original flight was. could you remind me what website that was? thank you

Advice please. Best way to get from AK to DHS and about how long should I allow? Thank in advance.

There will be a direct bus to DHS. Check the transportation board as you head to the bus stops.....you will see which number spot the DHS bus is.
I always allow an hour moving from park to park. Should be less than that, but it's better to be safe.

Staying at All Star Sports. Need to be at Magic Kingdom for a 9 a.m. KTTK Tour on a 9 a.m. opening day. What time should we be at bus stop? TIA!

Want to see main street electrical parade 7pm in MK. Will we have time to take monorail to Via Napoli for 830 pm dinner?

Honestly, I think that will be tight. I'm not sure which direction the parade runs at 7 p.m. If it starts at the front entrance, you'll probably be able to see most of it. Keep in mind that you'll have to take the monorail to the TTC, transfer to the Epcot monorail, and walk all the way through Epcot to Italy, which would be just about the farthest point.

We leave tomorrow! Yay!! I just booked Boma for our departure date on the 21st at 10am, our flight leaves at 4:20pm, do we have enough time to go over and eat and come back on time? We're staying at AoA, also what would be the easiest way to get to Boma?

Considering a taxi from Grand Floridian after dinner tonight back to POFQ. Any guesstimates for what it might cost us?
