Oh, yes she did say that!! But, is she for real, or playing on Gabriel's wanting understanding and not belonging to his parents? I think he told Chandra that in S1.

About Tracy -- is she another personality of Niki's or is she really someone else entirely? I think she's someone else, maybe a missing sister of hers. Last time we saw Niki, she was in a building that blew up. The events in the episodes last night take place immediately after last season's ending. It would take a lot longer than that for Niki to establish a new identity, especially as an aide to a governor.

I just hope they don't end up overusing the "long lost sibling" plot device. Things like that can get really old really fast, and this show is better than that.

Let's see. Tracy knows nothing about the other 2. Her comments to Nathan back that up. Hmmm... maybe triplets?

We nothing about Niki's dad either, what he did or didn't do to Jessica. All we know is she is dead. And now, so is Niki.

I was reading Beeman's blog on 9th Wonders, http://gregbeeman.blogspot.com/2008/09/beemans-blog-season-3-episode-1.html (no spoilers just stuff on this episode and shooting it, great pics). There is a picture there that didn't make the viewed cut.

GOOD CATCH! I never thought about that. Or, here's a possibility... Future Peter put current Peter in someone else's body. Maybe Future Ando isn't Ando at all! Maybe it's Peter, or a villian Peter put in Ando's body.

That would explain his "turning" on Hiro (his best friend) and his powers.

This episode was pretty good. It was nice just to be immersed back into their universe, you know? I'm really irritated though, that they never explain how everyone comes back from the dead. Does *everyone* have healing powers?? (and if so, I'm with pp: bring back Micah's dad!)

Clare (but she can heal)
Adam (ditto)
Sylar (but we keep bringin' him back)
Nathan (does he have some of Clare's powers of regeneration as well?)
Noah (but he got healing blood from Adam, right?)
Linderman (who may or may not actually be alive, apparently)
Niki (is she dead? who knows)
Maya (didn't she get shot at the end of last season? did they ever mention how she survived? maybe they did and it's just been so long that I don't remember...)

I just hope the cast doesn't end up too bloated. I thought there were a lot of characters to keep track of in season 1 (the originals will always be my favorites), and each season they add like 10 more people!

My kids were mad when I made them go to bed at 10:00. We'll be watching it again when they get home from school. I liked Mohinder without his shirt. They should do that more often, as long as he doesn't have sores peeling off his back. He's got some interesting qualities now. Ummm.. check the blog pics.

Claire and Peter are going to annoy me if they keep up what they're doing. I like them better as a team... working against Nathan but never letting him know. but this is another world or time now. And our Peter isnt' here. Though I wonder where his body is, if his ... whatever is in Jesse?

I liked how Sylar gains his powers. "Eat your brain? That would be disgusting, wouldn't it?" "Claire! That is disgusting!!" Along with Nathan's comments to Tracy.. whatever her name is. Sheesh!

I don't understand how they can capture and keep Sylar at Primatech when he has so many cool powers. Not at Primatech. Claire is in Calfornia. I think this main office is too. Also Elle shocked the snot out of him, so they were able to get him under control. And maybe drug him? (that thing in his nose)

Overall, I thought it was a good episode.

My main question... isn't Sylar a level 2? and these villians are level 5? Good grief, there could be a lot of them stashed somewhere! And were Peter and Adam kept there too?

Was grossed out by Claire's brian being exposed.
Missed Mama Petrelli's shocking revelation about Gabriel/Sylar as I had already turned off the TV by then.
I like Mama Petrelli - I think the character is a hoot.
Why was Noah/HRG in Level 5? Does he have a power?
Mohinder is a complete IDIOT.

And I think I'd much rather watch Dr. Who or Torchwood or Primeval or even Stargate:Atlantis.

I saw that...it took me a minute though. I absolutely loved "The Greatest American Hero". I had a little crush on William Katt back in the day. I heard he was going to be on "Heroes". I was hoping his stint would last a little longer. Maybe it will??? What happened there when Nikki grabbed him? He froze or something. Is that his power or hers?

I was confused because I finally read the story in TV Guide this week about Heroes after watching the episode and the article seems to imply that William Katt is going to be a regular or around for a while. I didn't get the feeling that he would be given the cold shoulder and frozen out in such a short period of time.

I will say that they've hired a lot of good looking guys to be on that show....open to all races and ethnic groups. (We do miss Isaac...why does he have to stay dead when most of the other dead heroes get to come back to life?) The African guy with Matt will be the new painter, doing/painting Tim Sale's art. Issac had no where else to go in his character, though yeah, we miss him.

Mohinder is an idiot. He shouldn't have injected himself so quickly.

It was also stupid for Hiro to open the envelope so cavalierly....after all of his experiences, I don't think the writers should have made him so careless.

I think the best thing I have seen is "why powers make people stupid". It is still a Hiro thing, wanting to still be a Hero, while being a geek. And he is still young isn't he?

Still not sure where his sister is. Wasn't she running the company?

Ok...if Peter is now in the body of this bad guy, does it mean he cannot use any of his powers? Can he use the one the guy had?

Also, the villains appeared to be the brotherhood of mutants from X-Men. One guy is Pyrokinetic (like Pyro), then there is "The German" who controls Magnetism (like Magneto who is also German).

But don't you think, if Sulu knew his son, knew he would disobey him and open the safe, would also know enough to not have the CORRECT formula in there if it was really THAT important to humanity?

Methinks that half of the formula is fake.

Or Hiro thought he could just take a peek at what he was guarding and then put it back. He didn't know about Daphne, and figured in the central office of his company, he should be safe.

So many questions answered, so many more to tangle our brains with!

But Claire ages. Are we supposed to forget about that because she is still young?

My DD so guessed that Mama Petrelli was Sylar's mother, too. DS was clueless.

But like Adam, I think aging stops at a certain point. Adam still looked the same in feudal Japan as he did with Peter, current time. That was 400 years! They may make themselves age to keep current, make up & stuff, but it seems they stay and look as they are.

A couple things occurred to me yesterday, after thinking about the show for a while:

Where is Molly? Wasn't she staying with Mohinder and Parkman? With Parkman in the African desert talking to turtles (hilarious, by the way!) and Mohinder turning into The Fly in Isaac's loft, what happened to Molly? Mo told Maya she was on a plane, somewhere safe. She is out of the storyline for now. I do hope he let Matt know 1st, since he WAS her guardian.

Could Tracy be Niki's twin sister? Didn't she have a sister who died, and that's where Jessica came from? Or am I completely making this up? Perhaps the sister didn't die after all, and was adopted as a child and grew up as Tracy. That would explain why she looks the same and has similar ambitions, and also is discovering that she has powers. Triplets? and who know what her dad did? They never really said & they did show Jess's grave stone.

I'm interested to see how Ando ends up having powers. I'm guessing Mohinder and his syringe have something to do with it -- unless of course Ando comes in contact with Elle's brain. Or maybe that wasn't Ando at all. Can Sylar shape-shift?

Such story twists they give us! Keeps us panting for the next one!

FPeter changed the timeline when he came back. So who knows what future that was?!

Nathan (does he have some of Clare's powers of regeneration as well?) No, 1st was Adams blood, when he was burned. This one I am still working on due to the look on FPeter's face when he "came back" Maybe still with Adam's blood? Noah (but he got healing blood from Adam, right?)
Linderman (who may or may not actually be alive, apparently) ghost boy or something Nathan has dreamed up coming back from the dead?
Niki (is she dead? who knows) Niki is dead and her triple lives where ever in Tracy

Mo went to collect it and both she and Syler got what he had collected. The one Sylar took was for Niki. Remember he was going there but got called back to where Sylar had Molly.

Which brings up another question: once you're injected with Clare/Adam's blood, do you get their regenerative power forever? I was going to say that yes, maybe that's how Nathan came back from being shot, but when Sylar got shot, his body "rejected" the bullets and he came back to life almost immediately. Argh!

I forgot about the Maya subplot; thanks for the reminder.
