SITE ANNOUNCEMENT POSTED AUGUST 12, 2007
Help Wanted At HeroSite.net
Back in January when HeroSite launched, we intended to have an updated character guide and a good episode guide. Unfortunately, time and in one case, computer issues got in the way and this didn't quite remain updated as it should.

So, we're looking for volunteers... if anyone is interested in helping out with updating the character profiles or episode guide entries (in the same format as what was done before), please send in an e-mail at HeroSite@gmail.com. If you can, please include some credentials and references to previous work.

Additionally, if you have any suggestions or requests of what you'd like to see on HeroSite for Heroes Season Two, please send us an e-mail and let us know about that too. This site couldn't exist without you, and we want this site to be something worthy of Heroes itself. Some cool things are already in the works, including a greatly improved forum.

Thanks as always for being a HeroSite visitor.

Anyone purchase Season 1 DVD's yet? I plan on it but did not get out to the stores yet!!

DD just got back from a week out in LA with Hayden and attended Hayden's 18th birthday party at the LG Malibu house. Several of the cast were there. She had a great time!! She also got to spend an entire day on the set of Heroes (in all that time they only shot 3 few-second scenes)....said it was very tedious but all the crew were very friendly and nice!

Can't wait for Season 2 to start!!!

I rented disc 1, 6 and 7 from Blockbuster because they were the only discs that really had anything new on them. We were planning to watch them tonight but DS told me that he needs some school supplies by tomorrow. Nothing like me being a slave to his teachers! I'm not hopeful for tonight anymore, but since there are no late fees, we can definitely watch them tomorrow night.

Got it. Haven't had a chance to watch any of it yet, though.

I decided to get Best Buy's edition with the comic book. There's an ad inside the comic for a hardcover collection of the online comics from DC Comics, with alternate covers by Jim Lee and Alex Ross. If I get that, it will be the Alex Ross cover -- his artwork is phenomenal!!

I ran out and got Target's Exclusive "Collector's Edition" DVD set on Tueday before they were sold out. IMO the different packaging alone is worth the extra price ($8 more than the standard). It also comes with an 8th disc that contains a 35 minute pnael discussion with most of the cast and the creator. It also has some fun bios of the cast (likely on the NBC site before the series started).

I plan on getting the complete comic book so the Best Buy exclusive doesn't interest me.

I can't wait to watch the longer pilot episode but there has been no time since I got the set.

No DVD's yet, but I did just get home from DW!!

We are down to less than 3 weeks and counting. Company man was on Monday night, Parasite next monday and then the final, how to stop an exploding man.

My question, if you have been watching the cast favorites, is that they have been showing real quick clips of the new season. Who have you seen in the preview clips?

I saw that Peter & Claire have different hair styles. I did see Hiro, Mohinder, Nathan, and Niki... I think. Also her sone, Micah & HRG. The new boyfriend, I think and the new character Monica, that Dana Dvis will play. Or maybe is was Dania Ramirez.

Oh and a brief shot of Kensei. And Syler right after he got Ted. Who have you noticed?

Also herosite.net has updated info and pictures from the World tour. No spoilers unless you open them

I need help!

I started watching Heroes online after the first season ended. Some of it was hard to see so I decided to wait for the DVD's to finish up the season. Now I can't remember where I left off! I thought I had seen episodes 1-10, but when I read the synopsis on the back of the DVD at Blockbuster I couldn't remember a few of the episodes. The recap page at NBC is gone, so can anyone tell me where else I can look for a recap and names of each episode?

The build up within me is tremoundous!! Greg Beemon has started up his blog again at 9th wonders. It says small spoilers, but all I saw was a picture of a few new characters. And some of the pictures are a hoot!

Herosite.net has new stuff. the first and 2nd episode names have been released. The first, as we all know is 4 months later. the second is Lizards. Really makes you wonder, eh?

Did get the DVD's but have't seen them yet. And ther eis a good intro to some new characters in the latest graphic novel on nbc.com

COME ON, MONDAY!!:cool1:
