Official "Heroes" discussion thread - Caution: Speculation and Potential Spoilers

BIG Heroes fan here! I have never looked forward to Mondays so much!!!

Can I toss out a couple speculations?

Who told the Haitian not to erase Claire's memory? My guess is Future Hiro. That would be someone who might know Claire and would sort of supercede anyone in "the organization".

Who did Claude know about 7 years earlier? It's either someone we don't know yet or it's Simone. They were hanging out on her father's roof. He could have been invisible and hanging out and saw that she had a gift and trained her a bit. While we only got a glimpse, she did not seem terribly shocked at the fact that she was upright after being shot several times!

For weeks I've felt that Linderman was in on this. He is obviously collecting hero artificats. It will be interesting to see that play out.

P.S. Is it Monday yet?!?!

I think Linderman is Robert Prosky, the bad guy from "Tha Natural".

agnes!

I read somewhere that Malcolm McDowell was joining the cast. He would certainly fit the person we saw from the back.

I have to say Claude was hiding Simone. ;) Anyway that is my speculation.:lmao:
So she got shot and stood up...what is her power?:scratchin She had blood on her and said "want to shoot me again".

Everybody is adament that Peter is not able to heal her, right?

:woohoo: I was right!!! :woohoo:
I thought they all worked for Hiro's dad
but.. how come Hiro doesn't remember any of this?? unless his memory got erased too..

Awesome episode so far :thumbsup2

Yeah, but Hiro was a kid, into his hand held game. Probably didn't even notice adult stuff.

well that sucks, now HE knows that she heals, too. what's that guy's name, again?? the nuclear guy?? he reminds me of the "Roast duck with the Mango salsa" caveman from the Geico commericals!

1. His name is Ted Sprague.
2. His real life wife plays Mrs. Bennet
3. Everyone now knows Claire heals, but maybe Bennet himself. And if so, without the Haitian, how do the rest of the family forget?

Isn't she the girl that went and got Ted from the desert?

That was what I thought as well. But, if that is the case, was she actually doing company work by bringing in Ted and Matt? Just how twisted and deep does that conspiracy run?

Nice! That's a very interesting theory, and I could see several ways the writers could go with that.

Hadn't thought of that, but it's certainly right in line with how they seem to be tying everyone together. But, Claude saw Simone when she was on the rooftop with Isaac, right? I don't recall any of his comments that would have been a tipoff - even a slight one - that he knew who she was.

This is the best episode so far, except no Hiro.

I glad to see ol' HRG isn't so bad after all. I've always thought he started out doing what he thought was right, and stayed in because he had to. Looks like the only way to leave that job is by dying or them having you killed.

Oh boy at the preview

HRG isn't so good. He called his boss to come get Ted and they took Matt also. He will give everyone up, including Claude, except his "daughter".

I think he is very interested in what he is doing and what is going on. Also keeps him on the cutting edge with what is happening and keeping Claire safe.

The girl from the lab wasn't Hana (the girl who can do computer w/ her mind) According to the online comic, Hana went to Las vegas to find where all of the emails/messages were coming from--probably looking for Linderman.

Last night was a perfect example of why this show has quickly become my favorite show on television. For me, there were two really big HOLY (EXPLETIVE DELETED)!!!! moments:

1 - Claude was Bennet's partner?!?!?!?

2 - Bennet reports to Hiro's father?!?!?

Really didn't see either of those things coming at all!

Now...questions that arose last night for what happens next:

- Will Matt become Bennet's new "partner" ? That is what I was thinking.

- Where will the haitian take Claire? New York? And who is the Haitian working for? I have one thought, but want to see ya'lls!
- Who was the "hero" Claude was hiding that lead to Bennet shooting him? Claire's mom? That is a a good question, but didn't he say something about it being himself? Or maybe its knowing about the Haitian talking?

- What happens to Bennet's family now that they know and mind eraser is no longer around? They are no longer in the show. It was Lyle's last epi. I think Zach has one more go and then he off too.

- Who's the "nurse" chick in Matt's room at the end? She is in the #19, I think, - after the Haitus. Wait and see!!

and from the preview:

- Umm....Simone?!?!?

Just an awesome hour of television last night. This show just keeps getting better and better.

I'll post my questions in a seperate post!

Bennet I don't think heals. I think they shot him so he could tell his boss that Claire escaped with the Haitian and he was shot in the melee.

Hmmm..Simone having the same power as Claire? That would be silly. I almost thought she might've had a bullet proof vest on, but there was blood and holes right? Also she seemed skeptical at first about Isaac and Peter's powers. If she had powers and knew Claude, why would she have been surprised to find others?

Maybe Claude was hiding Nathan? The "company" seemed to know about Calire's mom (hence her faking her death), but they don't seem to care/know about her dad.

It is Malcom McDowell. and cool that Ando is back in the preview in a security(?) uniform and Does Hiro really have his sword?

Isn't she the girl that went and got Ted from the desert?

No, that is Hana, nickname Wireless. I was surprised not to see her at the Bennet's, but the graphic novel tells where she is and fills in what happened at Claire's mom's apartment.

this new girl is so cool and going to be big trouble for the guys! This is info from CBR http://www.comicbookresources.com/news/newsitem.cgi?id=9817 and the writers.. but the beautiful Missy Peregrym will be showing up with a very uh “glamorous” ability.

Thinking about the whole Simone-getting-shot thing...what if it's a set-up? For what reason, I don't know, but what if they planned to make it look like Isaac shot her?

Eric Roberts plays a great bad guy....he has been giving me the creeps ever since I saw him in "Star 80"....if you have not seen that movie...check it out....he is creepy, and it is based on a true story....

And I was surprised to see that Nathan (Adrian Pasdar) is married to one of the Dixie Chicks...

Have you read is bio....he has had a tough early life

Mini biography

Adrian Pasdar was born in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, but at the age of 2, his father, a prominent heart surgeon, moved the family to Powelton, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Philadelphia. In high school, he excelled at football, eventually leading to a football scholarship at the University of Florida in 1983. Football may have been a promising future, had it not been for a terrible accident during his freshman year that left his face scarred and his legs badly injured. A very driven Adrian finished his freshman year in a wheelchair, doing intensive physical therapy and turning his attention to campus stage productions and redicovering a childhood interest in writing and acting. No longer able to play football, he dropped out of school and returned home, taking a job with a theater group People's Light and Theatre Company. Here he worked on sound and lighting and also did set construction. One day, while constructing a set, he cut off the end of his left thumb. Adrian, having the ability to turn tragedy into triumph, used his medical compensation to pay for attendance at the famous "Lee Strasberg Theater Institute". At the age of 19, he auditioned for a role in Top Gun (1986). Director Tony Scott was so impressed that he wrote the part of "Chipper" just for him. This led to bigger roles in Solarbabies (1986), Streets of Gold (1986), and Kathryn Bigelow's 1987 cult vampire movie Near Dark (1987), with Adrian in the lead role of Caleb Colton. Other major roles include Vital Signs (1990). Adrian has always been an actor ahead of his time, opting for roles in independent and cable movies long before they were considered fashionable for feature actors to do. In 1992, feeling completely out-of-touch with reality, Adrian left Hollywood and returned to New York. He worked as a cashier for room and board, while taking the occasional small part, such as Frankie in 'Brian De Palma''s Carlito's Way (1993). Another major break came in 1995, when Adrian was cast as the title character on the short-lived Fox series _Profit (1996)_. He continues to act in supporting roles and has now added directing to his already impressive body of work. He wrote and directed the short film Beyond Belief and also directed a feature film Cement (1999).
