What are you guys referring to? Is there a link? Thanks.

And props to the person who guessed that Nathan was the father.

Okay. I just re-watched last nights episode.

So, after Peter is forced to snatch that ladies purse, he reveals that Claude has had 15 years to get familiar with his power. That, for me, brings up the question, why did our heroes powers only manifest themselves 6 months ago? Was the solar eclipse the trigger? And if so, how has Claude had his powers for so long and what triggered them?

BTW, It looked to me like HRG driver's license only had his last name on it. It just said Bennet. He even signed it as just Bennet.

Great question! I thought about that too. But remember, HRG adopted Claire as a child, after the fire. I believe her Mother set the house on fire by mistake. So some of these Heroes have had their powers longer. OH! And remember when she called Peter? I think she knows about his power, because she didnt seem too shocked by what Claire could do, and she said something like "what a family".

After catching up today, you guys are gonna make me watch the show again! You all catch sooooo much!

And for those of you who know about the spoilers, thanks so much for not posting them - I'd rather be surprised!

i was talking about that with DH2B earlier. considering HRG said "it seems like an old friend isn't quite as dead as we thought he was" i'm thinking that there were heroes a while ago also, but something must have happened and they drastically went down in numbers.

and also, Clarie's mom probably started the fire, and that was about 18(i think Claire went to her prom this year, so she's probably 18) years ago, and Nathan didn't sound too surprised to hear about it, so i'm betting he knew about his power also.

what i'm thinking is neither of them, nor the invisible guy(sorry, don't know his name yet) really told anyone or made it noticable. they're probably the few that are left from "before". because now we're seeing Peter, Issac, Nikki, and Hiro pretty much just beginning to figure out how their abilities work.

which is another question in itself......did they ALWAYS have these abilities?? or did they just start getting them?? because i think Claire made a comment before to either her mother or father about "i've never been sick" which could mean that she has had the ability all her life, but is just now realizing the extent of it.

and i'm not so sure that Nikki has an ability, either. i'm thinking that "Jessica" might have actually had the ability. but that one kinda confuses me to really think about.

and now that i've racked my brain i'm exhausted and need to stop typing about this lol.

I wonder if both parents need to have powers for the child to have powers. Look at Claire and DL and Nikki's son

The fire was 14 years ago, Claire was 18 months old. Claire surviving the fire tells us she has had her abilities since birth.

Nathan being aware of his power for years, it makes sense that when Peter started getting excited about being able to fly, Nathan tried to discourage him.

While I'm thinking of it, my mother said that Sendhil Ramamurthy (Mohinder)was on The View on Monday. Did anyone see it? I KNEW I should have called in sick! Even she said he's a cutie

Yup, I think that is exactly where they are going with this. Should be really fun to see what people have been hiding. Maybe the first generation of powers are simple things and it grows with every generation.

- Nakamura (Hiro's Dad) has ties with HRG, you'll see flashback scenes from the past where he hands HRG a baby.
- Sylar kills Isaac
- Simone is the other female character to be killed off (1st was the shrink)

I continue to be impressed with the detail on this show. For example, in the most recent episode they were going on about how the painter was struggling to figure out where the guy was and they had his purse snatching painting right there in the background. Paintings that clearly showed his progression towards his apartment had he only followed the subtle clues. It makes the show even that much more fun to watch.

Wasn't the guy who came to give Nikki the news that she was being released the same guy who came to get the money from DL? He works for Linderman, doesn't he? I forgot his name...I think he said it when he was with DL.

Yes he is the same guy and shows up in another epi...the next one. With **** & ****!! That will be fun!
