Official "Heroes" discussion thread - Caution: Speculation and Potential Spoilers

My son and I watched last night's show together and finally realized after watching it for weeks now that the shows are very unpredictable. There are always the "oh, my goodness" moments. The preview of Hiro in the train got me goose-bumps. Did anyone see what Hiro is wearing on his back? Isn't that a samurai sword on his back? Hiro is by far our favorite hero. The more intense the story gets, it only means the season is closed to an end. Cliff-hangers!!!!! I hate them.

My question... I spent the morning looking for the group picture. They took it off of nbc.com, but i did find it on tvguide.com. It also gives away epi blurb info, so don't look if you dont' want to.

anyway, is the dude with Claire's dad DL, Micah's dad or someone else? I think they are 2 different people, but not sure. Hard to tell by that picture.
Anyone see an extra name in the credits?

Also, Nathan mentioned family. Wonder when they are going to bring his wife into it? And mamma Petrelli is a bit off, don't you think?

I didi like Issac's eys going white as he painted and in the previews, Peter's did too. Hmmm... andthink Symone has any powers or is jsut there?

They say 9 wonders... and there 7 now, so DL and Micah or who is the 9th wonder?

can i just ask one question?? now....i love the show......don't get me wrong. i think it's great, i love shows like this.


but....what's up with the one girl's powers? the one that kills people? how is that supposed to "help with humanity"?? i don't think that going around with multiple personalities and killing people is really a great thing for the world.

and on another note on her, you think she killed her husbands "Gang" members??

Yeah I don't really get her either (sorry for jumpin' in here ! I am so happy to find some other peeps that like this show as much as I do!!!) Any who I think that she also killed her husband and that if her mother in law isn't careful she might be next. I think that her SON is what is so special about her ....... I think that he might have some kind of powers that noone has realized because of how she is always going on about how he is so smart and everything. Maybe.... her talents are hidden though. I think that she truly is a good person at heart. My favorite character is Peter.

Issac's eyes going white was just to emphasize he was in a trance state imho. that's why he needs to take heroin in order to paint the future - he needs to get into that trance state. There are other ways but I guess he hasn't realized that yet.

I think she was asking about the guy with Claire's dad, not Mr Bennett, but the scary bald African-American guy, who was gonna do something to Matt the cop, at the beginning.

And, Micah is supposed to be genius level smart. The first episode had him making/building some made-up kind of "board" (I forget exactly what it was) for a computer that had blown.

I don't have much to add to the discussion this week, but man do I love this show!! the part where Hiro and his friend were coming down the escalator in a dead on redo of "Rain Man"---freaking hilarious......I think future Hiro did look different, and it would make sense that he learns english eventually since I'm thinking all the heroes are going to hook up soon....

does Claire have any other clothes??

Claire was found with no clothes. So, did the QB rape her?? Because if so, he did it after she should have been dead. Right??

Also, she probably killed him when she hit the wall. So, I guess everyone will think it was a horrible accident. But it will look strange when she doesn't even have a scratch on her.

When they show us previews, they aren't always for the next week, right? Because last week the preview showed the cop with the black guy, but I didnt see anything about that last night.

At the very beginning, they showed Matt, the cop, strapped to table. Claire's dad was there, talking to him. Matt told him he was LAP...a cop...Let him go, etc.

Claire's dad said it wouldn't matter in a few days...

Matt then asked "Who's Claire?", as if he'd peeked in Claire's dads thoughts.

Claire's dad then set creepy bald African-American guy from the bar on Matt. The one who seemed to block Matt's ability and possibly cause his blackout last week. I think cbAAg may have kissed Matt, in a "Godfather" kinda way. So, we know bald guy and Claire's dad are working together, against our "Heroes". Or so it seems, anyway.

A mangled hand, a 'Heroes' suit, and NBC

Emerson Electric is suing NBC over a scene in "Heroes" featuring the company's garbage disposal. This may seem silly but something does smell funny on both sides.

NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- NBC is getting sued by a garbage disposal maker that claims the network's new hit show "Heroes" casts its product in a negative light. You can't make this stuff up.

Apparently, the first episode of "Heroes" shows one of the characters, a cheerleader who is blessed with the power of indestructibility (must come in handy when being at the top of those human pyramids), sticking her hand into a garbage disposal and getting it all mangled. A few seconds later her hand heals.

wow....I didn't even notice a brand on there (and I'm sure alot of people didn't either). I don't know many people who would blame the company for a girl sticking her hand in a running garbage disposal. Seems a bit silly to me....

Loved the Rain Man reference!

Hiro did look different. He looked like a grown up and serious version of himself. The Japanese speaking Hiro is whimsical and boy-like in the newness of his power. The future Hiro seemed to know better.

So will Hiro be the ultimate hero? Is his name chosen, not because it is a common Japanese name but because he is the final and most powerful hero?

That symbol shows up a lot in this. It is on the book, Issac's paintings, a ppicture Peter drew, on claire's notbook, in future Hiro Sword, that guys necklace, ikiN back/shoulder, the pool hose at the house the parents were killed and in the computer program Mohinder had on his laptop. they say if you look at it closely you can get what it means, but I'm not there yet!

What I want to know is, did anyone notice if Niki had the symbol on her back when she was asleep(in her normal state) or was it just while she was in her "Hyde" state?

I don't think she had the symbol on her back/shoulder when she was asleep. I think it was only there while she wasn't herself.
