Yes. We have a Tour de Pain series in my town I run every year and I've completed 2 Goofy Challenges. I'm also going to be running the Marine Corps 1/2 the morning of the TOT 10-miler. It's all about recovery. Be sure to stay hydrated. I use Endurox as my recovery drink, compression sleeves, and wrap my knees/ankles with the wine cooler sleeves (if needed). Biofreeze is also my friend. For Goofy, I walk around after the 1/2 on Saturday. I like to keep my legs loose. Nothing crazy but a few hours on my legs feel good. By 5pm, I'm eating dinner and am off my legs for the rest of the day.
First off.....WOW! are your really doing a 1/2 then flying to WDW and doing the ToT? If so, you are one tough cookie.
As for multi day race plans. I did Goofy this year and just did the usual--light park touring on Fri, light park touring after the 1/2--important for getting the lactic acid out of the legs (and for securing the traditional "post-race photo with the character at the park/costume of my choice"). Sunday I went to DDD after the race to get my chocolate shake at Ghiradellis and stretch things out.
After each race, back at the room, I do a little light stretching, icing of whatever needs it, eat and a short rest (and a beer--I earned it!)
