**Official Frozen Sing-Along, Oaken's, Holiday Premium Package Tips, updated 1/5/15

Yulilin just reported back that there is only one parade accessible viewing area. The one I posted a picture of. And for the singalong only 1 person was needed to pick up the tickets and she could choose her time.

Have they changed anything since it started? Since it was put together in such a short time. Their learning as their going.

There have been some tweaks here and there to fine tune things.

The most noticeable change was making to separate entrances at Wandering Oaken's, one for merchandise and one for the Funland.

To lovethattink and others who have been posting your experiences with FSF... Thank you so much for your posts!! I'm finding your reviews so helpful and I'm really looking to these events now. :grouphug:

You're welcome. I appreciate reading other's experiences too.

I hope you have a great time!

Yullilin3 reported that the parade goes by the Star Tours area at 11:10 and it wasn't crowded there.

We don't want to ice skate or really play in the snow in funland, but would like to see it and take pictures, especially the magic shots. Can you access the funland area if you enter through the merchandise area or do you have to get into 2 different lines and enter twice?

You would have to enter one, exit to outside then enter the other's line.

Trying to develop a touring plan for our FSF day a week from tomorrow- YAY!! A couple things I'm curious about if anyone can answer...

1. Can anyone comment on the wait to get into Oaken Trading Post in the morning since the first day's chaos has subsided? Debating wether I need to go straight there at RD or can I let my DH & DS ride RnRC/ToT and head over there with enough time to shop and get in line for Premium Pkg. parade viewing?

2. I realized I won't have time to do both the show & Funland before our 1:35 H & V lunch and want to head back to BWI for an afternoon rest. Anyone have thoughts which would be better... 12:30 show w/ an evening visit to Funland or visit Funland between parade & our 1:35 ADR and watch the 6 or 7 show?

3. Any suggestions on when to line up for dessert party?

This thread has been awesome! Would love anyone who has thoughts to share. Thanks!!

Thanks for sharing.

I lifted the picture of the "sitting area" versus the "standing area."

I haven't read all of the posts here, but other than Labor Day weekend, it doesn't seem like people are having a hard time with availability for the premium package. We are going the first week of August, just my niece and I. Does it seem like we have to book now, or cannot wait another week or two. (I'm a teacher, so money is always more tight in the summer.)
Also, do the prices include tax?

This is the queue for Wandering Oaken's Trading Post and Frozen Funland on July 6 during the welcome on stage part of the parade.

We had viewed the parade right where it comes out and headed straight to Oaken's instead of to the stage.

ETA: The entrance to Frozen Funland is near the silver marquee. The entrance to merchandise is near the red sign saying Oaken's, where you see the people standing.

We haven't been able to make it there at rope drop. Hopefully someone who has will comment.

Hopefully someone can answer your questions. Our way of touring is to try maximize our time indoors in the air conditioning. We arrived at the dessert party right after 8 when they had already opened the doors to Playhouse Disney (there was lightning in the area).

Our shopping experience was seeing the 2 hour wait on the 5th at 9:30am, then as you see in the picture above, no line during the welcome on stage.

It's nice to see the cm squatting instead of standing like was done during FTF. Big improvement for the package go-ers.

Here's a post my husband put together that compares a couple of different viewing spots for fireworks at DHS (including the package viewing area)!

Thanks for sharing. Franklin takes the most incredible pictures.

I'm going to call about booking for Monday. I'll let you know what is said about availability. Yes, includes tax and gratuity.

If I don't get to the parks until 2 or 3pm will I still be able to get a ticket to one of the Frozen sing a long shows?

Here is the link to the Disney blog about it. Towards the bottom there is this note in italics.

"(Note: Guests will receive a credential for identification during the Royal Welcome procession viewing. If you are not able to attend the Royal Welcome procession viewing, please visit Guest Relations to check-in between 12 p.m. and 8 p.m. and select a show time for the sing-along celebration. After 8 p.m., please check-in at Min and Bill’s. Credential identification is non-transferrable and will not be replaced if lost or stolen.)"

ETA: if you aren't talking about the package, then tickets will be available until they run out for the day. On opening day, there were reports of still having tickets at 4pm. Haven't heard reports since?

I had no luck at all making a reservation for any Monday in July, August or Sept.

The odd thing. When she checked for first available date, the system said Sept 4th. :confused3 Does this mean a glitch or will it be extended?!

Thanks for your reply! I'm not purchasing the package. Anyone else have any information about when the sing a long tickets tend to run out?

We called before to renew our APs, and got our MNNSHP tix for Sept 1 (yay!!)

Asked about "Frozen Fun" , and we were told that as of now--- Sept 1 is still scheduled to be the last day--- really hope they extend!!
