We will be back for the first time since 2019!!! Last week of February, departing 3/1. Family of four staying in the Gran Destino tower at CS. Question for those who have gone more often recently...I read that Monday, 2/24 is the last day of Festival of the Aarts. Will Epcot be disproportionately crowded on that day? I'm debating switching my Epcot and AK days because of this. (Monday/Thursday) Throws a wrench in the dining plan that's hatching in my mind, but worth it to avoid the hoards that we experienced in 2019 at food&wine. Thoughts?

This is anecdotal- but we went to the opening day of Food and Wine this year. We were bracing for absolute chaos as it was the Thursday before Labor Day weekend... and it was dead. I mean maybe the longest food line I waited in was four people. We talked to the cast members and they were also shocked, but it seems like opening day (and so maybe closing day) didn't draw a larger crowd. We're going the Friday of Presidents Day Weekend and bracing again for it to be packed.

Split staying at AOA and CSR Grand Destino 2/12-2/19. Kiddos have never stayed at AOA and wanted Little Mermaid, mom and dad love CSR.

Heading first week of February; anyone know when I should expect the park hours to be updated? Usually MK is open later than 9:00 for example.

Sorry I have been MIA. No excuse other than a busy December.

I am now 29 days away...four weeks away tomorrow. I went ahead and booked Mears. Since I will be landing at MCO just before 11:00am I will be okay with the delay that it may take getting to the resort. I also moved my 1900 Park Faire resort to 8:00 am instead of 8:15. It wasn't a big move but I saw 8 opened up and decided to modify. It will still make me miss early entry into MK but it is the deluxe extended evening so I will get to make up missed times later that evening. I'm still probably going to purchase multipass for MK and HS as of now. I will also purchase Guardians and hopefully get a virtual queue if I am already at the airport when the time opens up. I may still be on my way driving though.

I am hoping time flies by. January is a busy month for me so I am thinking it will. We have plans for every weekend plus have my husband's birthday and my third grand baby's 2nd birthday.

Feb 22-28 all star movies. Just DH and moi! Praying for hot weather on the 22nd as we want to go to the water park for the first time.

Just got a notification that HS hours changed for Feb 2nd from 9 pm close to 1 am close. ? I think I remember earlier in the thread someone mentioning a cheer / dance team event that night. I thought it would be a private event ? I am happy to take advantage of extra hours. Just surprised

I think it's just an error - on the app I see the HS hours as being 9PM to 1AM - there's no way the park isn't opening until 9PM!

28 days for us! I finally got our park tickets. I still need to order one more shirt from Etsy but I don’t think there’s much more that needs to be purchased. I think soon I’ll get out a suitcase and start throwing things in it as I see them, and then worry about organizing it later. Every time my 2yo sees an airplane she tells me it’s going to “Minnie’s house” so she’s definitely ready to go back

I am 25 days away. People are still shocked I am going on a solo trip. But they don't understand I love my alone time and it's not like I won't find people to talk to while in lines LOL. I'm in introvert normally but in Disney lines I become and extrovert.

I am 23 days away from- also solo . This will be my 8th solo trip . My husband told me 8 years ago that he isn’t coming back until we have grandkids . I actually love solo at this point in my life - can do what I want when I want and change plans at a moments notice .

Woke up to snow in North Alabama. It’s still coming down. This will make my hubby very happy. We love a good snow day here at our house. We very seldom get good snow and usually it’s just a slushy mess or mainly ice. We are in the 3-6 inches of pure snow prediction area so we will see. Since we are not equipped to handle this kind of weather, added to the fact we live on a country road, we will probably be stuck here all weekend. Which is fine by me.
