***OFFICIAL February 2025 Thread***

This is super random but since we haven’t decided yet if we’re going to rent a car this time, I checked Costco prices to see what we’re working with. For the first time, all the cheapest options for three different companies are pickup trucks. I’ve never seen that before.

Wow. I've never seen that happen either.

I joined. we're planning to fly down Jan 31st, but most of our trip is still in February.

currently booked Jan 31 to Feb 6 at Pop on a BB. but a few days after we booked the Canada discounts came out and there are many more rooms available to us now...so Subject to Change.

Got you added. Let me know if anything changes and I'll update.

So I finally told some friends I plan to go to Disney on a solo trip and most of them think I'm crazy. They think I'll get lonely but what they don't understand is that I LOVE my alone time and Disney keeps you so busy I may not have time to get lonely. I do have one friend who said she would be in Heaven on a solo Disney trip! She gets me the most HaHA.

I had a work conference in Orlando in 2018 and extended it a few days to have some solo Disney time and it was so great! I would 100% do it again.

I did a solo trip Feb 2023 and had a blast! I really want to do another one, but it'll be a couple of years before that can happen.

I've been working on hubby for a few years to convince him I'd be safe on a solo trip to Disney. He finally is comfortable with it so I jumped on it LOL

My DW and I are going on our first "couple trip" (i.e. without the kids) Feb. 4-9th. Currently booked for CBR, though watching for possible discounts to upgrade to a Crescent Lake resort. Primarily coming for our first EPCOT festival with FARTS, as well as revisit some favorites and see some of the new stuff. I haven't been since January '23, and there's a bunch of new stuff--like no (or much fewer) construction walls in EPCOT!

What a coincidence - we are staying at CBR in early February too, and we we're last at Disney in January 2023!

Some groups in February:

Jan 31 - Feb 2: National Dance Team Championship
Accommodations at All Stars/Coronado
Event page mentions a Sunday night celebration party in HS, and Friday night extended hours in Epcot

Feb 7-10: National Highschool Cheerleading Championship
Accommodations at All Stars/Pop/Coronado/
Carribean Beach/Animal Kingdom Lodge/Delta Celebration
Event page mentions a Sunday night celebration party in HS, and Friday night extended hours in Epcot

With the large number of hotels the cheerleading event looks to be a big one!

Oh boy - booked for CBR, and now hoping for some discounts so I can upgrade to a crescent lake resort or Poly. I know that events like these won't have a huge impact on park crowds--but you're rolling the dice with noise at a resort.

Bummer! We booked AKL for 7-10 Feb thinking it would be a nice quiet escape if the parks are too busy. Hopefully most will choose to stay at All Stars 🤞

We just booked our flights and hotel, so I can officially join this group! My boyfriend and I will be at Sheraton Vistana Villas from February 8th to the 15th.

I'm glad I checked this thread because we were planning on going to HS on the 9th. We might need to rethink that plan if there is a cheer celebration there that day.

I would avoid HS on Feb 9th unless you have park hoppers. We were at WDW in August and made the mistake of not checking the event calendar. It turned out that the day we decided to go to HS had a huge night event. The park was empty in the morning, but the evening was packed, wall to wall with event people that evening.

So if we have park hoppers, would you recommend visiting those parks in the morning? Are they likely to be super quiet?
