This time next week we will have just landed at MCO! Oh, it's so close I can taste it! Time to start the serious packing.... I'm doing boat loads of laundry today to get some things packed for the kids....

Less than a week to go and lots of snow in the forecast where I live. I'm not worried about it affecting our travel to FL, but more that it is going to make an impact in the plans I had to get things done this week. I really need the kids to be at school every day (please, please, please!) and not have my travel around town slowed down by snow and ice.

Just needed to get that out there in case Mother Nature reads the boards.

Isn't it a great feeling!!! Hope you had a prefect bday last week. And now for the icing on the cake. A trip to Disney World!

God yes it's a great feeling. I booked this back in August but man it feels like just yesterday. I remember waking up the next day after I booked the trip and wondering "*** did I just do? Did I actually book a solo trip to Disney World lol" The birthday went well. Lots of great food, friends/family and plenty of wonderful alcoholic beverages I still have a piece left of the bday cake if anyone wants a piece lol

I haven't forgot. I will let you know how the Dole Whip tastes, once a try it. I am looking forward to trying that and definitely psyched about trying the butterbeer over at Universal as well.

I know what your going threw. Just watched the weather report and they are talking about a big clipper/blizzard hitting out area form mon to tues. God I hope this is the only slow we get for the next week or so. I just want to get out of here asap with no delays. After Christmas I started getting thigns ready for the trip. I bought some travel supplies and such. I am now officially done with running around to target and other stores. All I can say is, it is finally good to be done with all that. Crossing my fingers and hoping for the best that both out trips or anyone one else trips aren't effected by this freakish weather.

Here's a little extra fun stuff: Early dismissal from school today (where I work,) almost definitely a snow day tomorrow, and maybe at least a delayed opening on Wednesday. Then work Thursday, work Friday, hop in the car right after work, and it's off to WDW! I guess I should cross my fingers that's we're not in horrible weather conditions on Friday when we're set to leave. Oh well - I'll push the car if I have to!!

We got the email Friday that our MBs were shipped, about 3 weeks from departure. They should arrive in the next few days. I hope the weather here in the northeast holds when we have to fly. And good luck to the rest of you traveling during the storm.

Anyone get an email inviting you to get a BOG FP? We got one, but when I following the instructions and logged in, it said that there were no FPs available on our MK date. What the heck is the point of this!?

BOG Fast Pass - we didn't get an invite, but there's a whole LONG thread about it. If you log in 27 days ahead of the day you'd like to eat there, there MIGHT be availability... Check out this thread -

I followed it and was able to get our lunch FP booked, with lunch pre-ordered. (first post has instructions - they are long and detailed - read ALL the way through them)


Also - Leaving in 3 days!!!! Weather looks good for our drive down woo hoo!!!

Keep in mind that there is NO support for problems with the BOG FP lunch system... it's a complaint on that thread again and again and again...

Also, leaving in 3 days and weather is looking like it'll be alright for our drive down. whew!

You should have been given the choice of any of the first 7 days of your trip. Although, the system has been really finicky this month.

Go ahead and get the star added to your license if you haven't already done that. Also, my insurance company (BCBS) lets you print temporary cards off the website. Maybe yours does too?

I'm with you as far as the pushing the car out and going that route. I'm form central Jersey and share your pain. Frustrating as hell this is. All winter and not a drop of snow and now this b.s. is happening. I hope this nonsense is over by tomorrow.
