Nice! I'll keep that in mind if needed, but really the biggest appeal (and only way of talking some picky eaters into going) was saying we might be able to meet Beast at dinner. I want to eat there no matter what time of day!

According to the Disney Food Blog, BOG will start serving breakfast (as a table service credit) with prepark opening ADRs in FEBRUARY! It's all still up in the air - nothing officially announced, but I'm excited and will be stalking the reservation page.

I was able to make Fastpasses at exactly 1:00am. Worked perfectly! Had to wait the extra hour for Magic Kingdom to close.

Hello! I'm hesitant to officially join this group because plans still aren't finalized. We're on a waitlist with RCI and are hoping to trade into DVC. Wish us luck!

Until then, I've never been to Disney World during this time of the year. We were last there in July/August so the crowd levels should be pretty different. I've already read easywdw, but does anybody have any first hand experience? How do the crowd levels change the touring experience this time of year?

We'll be there Feburary 23rd-March 1st! Fast Pass reservations open up Christmas Day for us! We loved the magic band experience last year and cannot wait to do it again this year, and we also narrowly miss a few major ride closures! We're staying at Pop this year because we literally only slept at the hotel last year, but we are spending one day at the resort because I've heard great things about it!

So thrilled I found out today I have a full day meeting for work in Denver the day prior to flight! So now I won't have to worry about driving to Denver after work (120 miles away). I will be there and will have a nice relaxing meal that evening and then check into the pre flight hotel!

Hello Everyone!

I am new to this board and have been amazed at the information I have been able to learn this past two weeks. My DH, my 7yo DD, and I will be at Disney February 8-15 and we are so excited! This will be our daughter's first trip, and we are going to surprise her on the morning that we leave.

I just finished lining up all our fast passes for the first time on MDE, and I was pleasantly surprised to get everything we wanted, so that is my Happy Dance for tonight!

Hello!

I definitely had a learning curve time period with the Fast Pass system. I didn't realize you had to pick three for the date/park you were on, and then modify from there. Luckily, my DH was next to me and figured it out pretty fast.

It is going to be hard to wait the next 59 days. The good thing is that getting ready for Christmas, and then the rest of the planning for packing will probably make the time go faster. Plus, I have to figure out just how we are going to surprise her that morning!

When we went to Disneyland a few years back, DD thought we were just going to San Diego and to Sea World. While we were eating bfast in the airport, he asked her if she would mind if we stopped to visit a friend of his before we got to San Diego since he also lived in CA. She reluctantly said yes. Then he asked if she wanted to see a pic if his friend and she said yes. so he pulled out a picture of Mickey! That was how she found out her vaca to see Shamu was actually to see Mickey first! Too impossible to have all the packing done etc. without her knowing we were going somewhere so this was our way of the surprise.

I was able to make fastpass+ selections at 12:01 EST on the 60 day mark and was fortunate to get ALMOST everything we wanted, with the exception of the Kali River Rapids, which was unavailable for further fastpass reservations.

I'll be celebrating my birthday on the day we attend MK, so I have in mind to dine at BOG (hopefully), so I'm keeping an eye on the lunch fastpass or dinner ADR!

Now, only 56 days to go! Feb 4-8!

Our FP+ window opened last night right at midnight ET for our trip Feb. 8-11.

For A&E, when I booked my wife and myself together (our kids are both under 3), the only time I was able to get was 7:40 p.m., but with a little fiddling I was easily able to improve that time. I split us up and first I got one at 1:15 -- but only one -- so I ended up being able to book both of us separately with an overlap at 4:50. Overall, there were plenty of times for individuals 4:30 and after, and it wasn't difficult at all to get overlapping times.

Everything else we were going for was easy stuff. Our kids are too young for the big kid rides.

On another note, I also had a bit of difficulty with the system. I could not get it to load last night on Google Chrome (that's never been an issue for me before), but I was able to get it easily on Internet Explorer.

Oh, that was really good! I am hoping to pack by using our 'unused' bedroom as a packing station, since that door is always closed. I usually use the bed in that room to sort through clothes she has grown out of, so there are always piles of clothes in there anyway...lol. But I might have to rethink this

Congrats on FP+! I too am celebrating my birthday while there. Plan to spend my birthday at Epcot! Happy early bday to you and many others on this thread!
