You haven't been able to make your fast pass + choices on MDX yet have you? I thought it was 60 days out? I believe my date to make the choices is Dec 1, sounds like you are ready for a fantastic trip!

By the way love that movie, however It kinda ruined my image of Mary Poppins who is my fav.

No I haven't actually been able to make them but I have a list of which ones we would love to get for each day and a rough time. Can pick them on the sixth. Not sure what time here in England we can make them from though.
I still love Mary Poppins I just enjoyed learning a lot more surrounding her creation.

Fast+ worked exactly as described! At about 12:01 EST the window opened up with the dates out to Feb 6th for me! So I went in and got all of the fast passes I wanted except for the "Great Movie Ride" It has moved up to a Tier 1 with Toy Story Mania.. Oh well. Will take my chances and willing to wait in line.

I also needed to alter one time in order to accommodate on ADR. In all it took me about 15 minutes total to complete. Pretty painless. Now off to bed!

Joining! 2/14-20 first stay at WL! Curious about Valentines and Mardi Gras. We are familiar with Presidents Week, but in the past, these two days were a different week!

Getting closer to FP+ windows opening! This will be the first time I've used it and hell or high water my daughter needs to meet A&E, so I'm praying for a FP+ there.

Our trip begins Feb. 8, so our window doesn't open until next Wednesday. And to make things more complicated, we're going to be going to MK Feb. 9, so I'll be trying to book A&E only 61 days out.

It seems like people here are having success getting A&E FastPasses with little problem lately but it sounds like some of that may be people scheduling for the latter portions of their trip.

Anyone whose windows are already open have a sense of our chances booking A+E 61 days out? There are only 2 of us (both kids are under 3) and we are pretty flexible in terms of time.

We have had no problem getting Anna and Elsa + Mine Train anytime during our trip, including our first day at MK. The best trick is to book your last day first as you'll have the best chance.

Also many people have reported getting Anna and Elsa closer to their trip.

I've been during Mardi Gras but never when it fell during President's week. I've heard our MG crews increases crowds but not by that much. South Louisiana, the Mobile area and maybe a few other places are off those days. I guess we will see. I am hoping for the best!!

Ahhhhhh - what a difference a year makes!

Last year at this time I was kinda stressing about preparing for my February 2014 WDW trip. First time it was going to be "adults only." Celebration of our 25-year wedding anniversary. First time staying at the what I once thought was an unreachable goal - The Boardwalk Inn!!! And what the heck is this crazy new thing called FP+?!?!?!?!

So, fast forward to right now - tonight: I just did my on-line check-in and picked 4 days (1 day in each park) of FP+ reservations for my trip coming up for this February! I'm feeling remarkably excited but not nearly so darn worried as last year.

I learned a lot of stuff when I was there last year, and it's really helping me with the plans for this trip. First of all, a vacation for just the 2 of us is 100% totally absolutely no-doubt-about-it "different" than any of our previous visits - whether they were with our kids at 4 and 5 years old or our kids at 16 and 17 years old. For us, that magic number of "2" was perfect. We were pretty shocked on how easy it was to agree on everything. How we never felt rushed or pressured to do anything. How neither one of us needed even one little "time out." (hahaha - just testing to see if you were still reading.)

Add to that the fact that last year (and this year) we visited during the first week of February. Sure, there might be some ride closures, and it might be too chilly for swimming. But going during a "value" week and being able to afford to stay at a Deluxe really makes the trip wonderful.

And as far as FP+ - well if you go back and read my trip report from last year, it was fine. Not super fantastic best thing since slice bread. But really totally workable. (At least for us on this type of trip ~ who knows how it would have been if we were trying to schedule kiddie rides or character visits.) Last year we got to experience every single thing we wanted. I'm pretty sure we'll be able to do that again this year. I have a FP+ for the 7 Dwarves Mine Train, so I'm happy about that. The only attraction we've never done.

So, I'm feeling really quite giddy and truly doing the Disney Happy Dance!! I've got the next 60 days to read these boards and look at My Disney Experience info on the WDW site. I'm sure I'll some up with other plans/ideas for things we want to do. Maybe put a little more thought into where we want to eat this year. Can't wait!!

Looks like you get to make your selections at 5am on the 5th. If I am thinking correctly. You are 7 hours ahead of me so 5 hours ahead of Florida. Did I calculate correctly? hmmmm

It's midnight EST that the window opens. So you'd have to calculate time plus or minus time zones.

Yep. I calculated it to be that too. Oh well two hours earlier than my normal alarm but worth it.

I got an a&e FP+ for 4 people on day 2 of our trip (feb1), right at midnight est, 60 d before we check in. There were a few options, but the morning choices were gone. I think you will be fine.

I wasn't able to get anything for 4 the entire week of feb2-6. And I too was up right at midnight when my window opened. It was only when I split up into singles was I able to get anything for a and e.

Just did my fast passes and couldn't believe all the fast passes available for the dates I was going to be at MK for Anna and Elsa meet up. Maybe it is because I'm a solo traveler but still if I wanted to do the character meet and greet, I would made out like a bandit.

Keeping my fingers crossed that I will be able to get at least 2 FP for A&E - can't send my DD there as a single! DH and BFF will be ok if they dont get in, and I have prepared DD not to automatically expect it, but she will be overjoyed if I do get it.

The only day I saw that didn't have fast passes for A/E was feb 3rd. Now I am going to MK for three more days and didn't see anything that said no more fast passes available. Good luck.

Dad still keeps asking, "When do we eat at Be Our Guest?" Well, hopefully he'll be satisfied with the 8:25 pre-park-opening ADR I got at Crystal Palace for his birthday meal. If not then at least I'M going to enjoy being in the park early! We'll find out Christmas morning.

If you are staying onsite, you can get a FP for BOG lunch (doesn't count as one of your regular 3 FP) closer to the actual date.
