Question?....I did some more shopping to get some items crossed off my list today...Does anyone know if spray (areosol) sunscreen is ok to take on plane? And if so does it need to go in carryon or checked luggage?

I've packed it before but always in checked luggage. Just in case, I always pack it inside a ziplock bag!

Definitely checked luggage. In my suitcase that is checked, is where my hair spray and styling mousse that are in aerosol cans go. Never a problem. I had even asked the TSA about that, and was told it would be fine for checked luggage.

Not sure about carry-on. But maybe if it was super small...3.4 ounces or smaller.

Otherwise, you could check it. I never check any aerosol stuff because I am afraid of it getting broken when they throw the bag around. I don't even trust it in a baggie. I'm paranoid like that.

tygersclaw, you can call the Disneyland dining line and get a better idea of who exactly will be there. We took my sister to Ariel's Grotto with the princesses and she was in HEAVEN. But she also loved Goofy's kitchen because Aladdin was there (whom she loved) as well as Mickey, Minnie, and Pooh.

We made reservations for Blue Bayou for my birthday lunch on Thursday. I can't believe I've barely thought about my birthday next week, just thinking about Disneyland!!!

Happy Birthday! Have a wonderful trip! We leave (end of Feb) and also 2 days after my birthday. That in itself is a wonderful celebration this year. Actually never took a trip near my birthday & I too am splurging for the Fantasmic BB to celebrate. Enjoy!!!

I am getting so excited for our trip! I haven't started packing per se but I have all our Disney shirts set aside and am starting to buy snacks and things to take with us. I need to get my list going of things we need to bring. Since we are leaving on a Sunday I will get everything packed up the Saturday before.

I wonder if the AP event that is happening on the 23rd and 24th are going to make the parks way more crowded during regular hours???

I also signed up for emails from a few of the places in DTD and I got a coupon for $30 off Tortilla Jo's which is where we are eating the first night we are there. Score!

Yes! We are also placing an order! Even ordering my laundry detergent from Vons so don't have to pack-can't beat 3.00!

I also found my kids BOOGIE BOARDS (from their bedrooms today). They are really cool if you've never seen them. My kids use them for all sorts of stuff, drawing, playing games, homework math/ spelling. Had to confiscate them for our flight.

Hello everyone! Ive loved reading your posts. Work has kept me so busy but today, being home sick has allowed me some planning time!

So I switched our res from Candy Cane Inn to the Holiday Inn. Expedia sent me a coupon code for $25 off, so our one night stay with breakfast included the next morning came to $92. My original res for CCI was $133.

We dont go until the 26th and its just a quick trip but time is dragging. It should go faster soon as it is now the season of birthdays in my family! Grandpa's 80th birthday party is saturday, superbowl sunday, moms birthday monday, work training and work party that week, grandma's birthday the next week, my birthday the next week, then my best friend who i havent seen in 2 years will be in town. and somewhere in all that my car needs a detailing and oil change! Hoping all of that will make feb fly by!

I am surprising my friend with a quick one day trip to Disneyland (ive got two free tickets left from when I was a CM so what a great way to use them!). Im just so sad at all the refurbs, the park hours, and the castle. BUT, it will mean very low crowds so I keep telling myself its worth it to take my friend even if it will be a little different.

Plus, its a one day trip and then a month later, a week trip!

I LOVE reading your packing stories. Please keep updating on how the parks are for all of you lucky kids who get to go in these next two weeks!!

edited to add: best bet is to call the Disney Dining phone number and make the reservation that way. I've never had much luck booking online.

What issue did you have with booking online? Other than our BB F! reservations, all others were done online. Hoping we don't have an issue!

I'm working on my vons order right now. (I'm not nearly as organized as you guys - planning your order weeks out! lol) I have a feeling we're going to have way more food than we can eat.

Does anyone know of restaurants that deliver? Saturday night when my DH and I are going to DL for our "date night" the kids are staying back at the condo with my Dad. We were going to order something for them. I know there's a Pizza Hut nearby so that might be our Plan B, but is there anything else? We won't have a car and we're staying offsite but not on Harbor so not much for food within walking distance.
