Ok February people- what kind of jacket/ coat do I need to pack? Is something like a running micro fleece enough or will I freeze? I don't currently have a winter coat so I will have to buy one if that is what I need. Just don't want to drop a bunch of money on a coat I don't need. Thoughts?

I tend to run really cold, that being said, I have never really needed anything more than a sweatshirt when going in Feb. However, we have had some really nice weather when I have been out there at this time. I will wear my heavy coat on the plane, and then it just hangs in my room the whole time.



Welp, we booked our airport shuttle to pick us up for the trip and I ordered my groceries. I am getting very very excited about the trip.

ONLY 31 MORE DAYS!!

Just had to let that out.

I wouldn't buy an extra coat, but I would pack an extra long sleeve shirt or two that you can wear underneath it. Maybe some light gloves, too. We have been in Jan and Feb before and have seen it all. We have had gorgeous swimming weather, but have also had to run to the store to buy hats and mittens. On one trip a few years ago, we had such a cold spell lasting a few days that Walmart ran out of sweatshirts, jackets, etc. No one seemed to pack correctly that year lol. But even then, it was still a fabulous time

I typically bring a light fleece and a zip up hoodie. I also pack a light LL BEan jacket in case it rains. This way I can layer at night if I need to-one night I had the fleece on and the LL Bean jacket. I don't want to deal with a winter coat at the airport so we leave them in the car.

Where did you order groceries from?

Garden Grociers (sp) I have used them every trip. Yes it is slightly expensive, but we are not big breakfast eaters. So I order water, energy drinks and oatmeal squares. So we can get up, shower and head out.

Bear in mind we are two adults.

We are visiting the World 2/1 - 9, just 4 weeks from today. Just my wife and I (kids are grown), staying offsite at Bahama Bay Resort. Looking forward to time away from work, and the cold. Volunteering at GKTW for one day (maybe 2?), perhaps 4 days at the parks, with other days relaxing. Plan to see Yehaw Bob at POR, visit DTD, Boardwalk, and maybe mini golf. Also a few hours looking at houses... starting with Bellalago, anyone have info about that neighborhood?

Finally one month countdown!
Not much packing to do. We went in Sept and when i got home, i washed the clothes and packed them back in the suitcase! I am ready to go!!

I'm wondering this as well. Am I the only one who thinks one month before the trip to print the names on and ship the bands is cutting it a little close? Has anyone reported not receiving their bands before they leave?

Comes UPS. Usually a few days after shipping.

I think timing wise, it's fine. They probably don't want to do it much earlier in case someone changes heir plans.

We received our bands the same day they sent the shipping notice. Had them in hand before I even had a chance to track the shipment.
