The last dance made it very clear who was the best dancer. They always give the last two couples the same score. I wonder if the judges know who won the viewer votes?

*snork* I have to say that I love these threads . I'm so glad that JR won. I knew that Ricki was going to be 3rd after her less-than-stellar performance the last two weeks.

What happened with MMaks? My DD wanted to go to bed right before he danced and I had to tuck her in.

They did the quick step that the judges liked so much. It was good but Hope kicked one of the floor lights, didn't seem to bother her. Someone commented that they didn't speak to Tom & Brooke but I don't think that Tom called them over. They looked happy, like they were having fun, they were there at the end hugging JR and smiling.

There are just some times when you have to be the abusive mom and make her stay up - to watch Maks. She will forgive you when she becomes a teenager and realizes what you made her stay awake through.

Some random thoughts on the finale:

I completely forgot about Elisabetta being on this season.... that was a good laugh.

I thought it was interesting that Len really stressed that it was NOT a unanimous decision how they ranked the three contestants dance. Hmmm

I wish they gave Karina a chance to speak after their final dance and I don't think they interviewed her after they won.. maybe I am wrong.. I was glad to see her shine, she hasn't had the most likable personality in previous seasons but this season she has been lovely.

Carson was awesome.. he is hysterical and such a joy to watch! The bucket list comment and referring to the Nancy Grace nip slip made me spit out my drink.

Glad that Rikki came in third, that Rob took second and that JR won the whole thing. I will be very interested to see what JR and Rob do over the next few months.

watching GMA with the 3 finalists. They interviewd Momma Kardashian who said to Rob, so proud, yadda yadda then
"Time to take off those dancing shoes and come home..I'll make you some brownies!"


I'm betting Rob's days of being a man are over. Then Cheryl said somehitng about his diet starting...all kidding aside, I bet she is is under contract with the K's to continue *transforming* him

Rikki will have a new talk show next year , which she says goes perfectly with her transformation, Kirstie Alley was on giving Rikki a message (and if I had to give Kirstie a score on how amazing she looks it's a perfect 30! She's 60 people!)

I just watch GMA too. They all danced, Rikki & Derek did a very complete, well done cha cha. I'm not sure what Rob & Cheryl were doing......but I wouldn't call it dancing. JR & Karina also did a nice cha cha but forgot how to finish it.

They showed clips of each contestents family & supporters, the sisters telling Rob how he will always be a winner to them.

I think Rikki was Robbed!

I wish they would do the scoring a little different -- maybe like ice skating. Have a performance score that would cap at 10 and then a technique score that would have points based on what they do technically correct or incorrect.

Sometimes I felt a contestant would get penalized for trying harder stuff -- like the lifts. Currently if you try a harder lift you get in "trouble" for not doing it smooth enough. And if you only throw your partner around and shake your booty you get a good score because you did nothing wrong.

Maybe I think this would just help me to understand the judges more

Wow, I could have written this one, too! As much as I think the Kardashian gals are scuzzy you-know-whats, I have to say that I liked Rob better and better each week. He had a really good attitude and seemed to be having a lot of fun.

I think Rikki was robbed also. At the same time I loved JR.
It's not about the family you come from and I'm sure Rob's sisters increased his votes.

Can't stand Directv. They were butts when we canceled our service trying to charge us for all kinds of stuff. We now have AT&T Uverse and I like it much better.
