We're booked for Oct 8-12! It's probably wishful thinking at this point since we're coming from Canada but I have flight credits and tickets that are going to expire from last year so I'm crossing my fingers.
I'm wondering the same thing. Especially since the introduction of Boo Bash at WDW it seems plausible they might add some sort of scaled-back party at DLR. I'd rather pay for a party ticket than a one-day one-park ticket. For us, the other part of the equation is when they'll be bringing APs back. I have a Thanksgiving week DVC reservation that if APs (or the new pass/whatever they're called) are back 30 days prior we'll keep, otherwise we'll probably cancel that reservation and wait from this October trip until Feb to go again. Originally we had APs that were supposed to take us 6 months from reopening, so that would have been spring-mid fall.I bought my tickets today. Now I'm wondering if I should have waited to see if they are going to do an after hours party for Halloween. Ugh! I really hope they have something for Halloween. We're taking newbies and I've talked Halloween up so much I don't want to disappoint.
Hey all! I think DD and I will be there Oct 7-10th... itās her senior yearand likely our last girlās trip for awhile. Hoping for a party, not holding my breath. We also have magic mountain tickets we need to use, so I am not sure how that will shake out. If we fly down Thursday and get magic mountain out of the way, or do it Sunday before we leave or in the middle somewhere. We did get to do Touch of Disney and had so much fun. But we miss the rides!
Eight days until October people can start booking if you are going on the 1st. I am going to start making my reservations daily beginning in nine days! So exciting!
isnāt it 60 days out? Omg... I just checked and saw itās 120.... eeek! Almost messed that up!
Good to know!! Question is it better to reserve disneyland first or dca? I have 5 day park hoppers.
I've seen a few people post online who have done the MM/last flight home from where I am (Northern California). It sounded like a blast. Wonder if I could justify adding that into my vacation budget ...Ugh, I am so, ugh... lol... okay right now we have 3 day hoppers and I have pre-covid Magic Mountain tix we need to use... land around 10:30 am on Thursday and donāt fly out till late on Sunday. Seriously considering moving us to an earlier flight on Thursday, does it really make a difference if we are up at 3 or 5 am?
Will there or wonāt there be anything for Halloween... in all honesty, I kinda hope not... even though we have done MHP many times and quite enjoyed OBB. But if there is a party, I wouldnāt doubt it being on Thu and Sun while we are there. Which means the night we would go is Thu... which means, landing at 10:30, we wonāt be in the parks till noon, can do whichever side does not have the party with half the world that has already been there for hours and then switch to the party... OR I have contemplated dumping our stuff at the hotel and going to MM that day, but who knows what their hours will be, and they could close at 6, which legitimately means about 4 hours of park time, for a park we have never done.
So, I am leaning toward rolling the dice and doing DLR on Thu, Fri and Sunday... with MM on Saturday... which with reservations in place, it shouldnāt matter, the parks should all be equally busy every day, right?
OR my latest nuts idea is to get a 4 day hopper and watch flights and literally fly down on some random day at the crack of dawn and doing MM and taking the last flight home... and using those tickets that way. DD is 17, so that may be a crazy fun thing to do...
