Can I order a cake for my room? Can it be delivered to my hotel? I am staying at Port Orleans Riverside. Also what is the phone # for wherever I am going to order this cake?

I want to get this mini cake with the heart on it in red for our 15th anniversary. delivered to San Angel or Coral Reef at our dinner. What number would I call to order it or is there someone I can just email?

Minicakes are only made by the Grand Floridian, Contemporary and BoardWalk Bakeries, none of which deliver to Epcot. For a list of your cake options by location, including phone numbers, check out http://disneytravelbabble.com/how-to/order-cake/by-location/

Thank you so much!! Talked to Chef Yoly, she was sooo helpful! My hotel # keeps going to voicemail! Hope it all works out!

You could see if BoardWalk Bakery would let you order a mini cake for pickup. It's not too far a walk from Epcot, or you could take the boat. :thumbsup2

I tried searching for the answer but did not come up with anything..

Does anybody have any information about Baby Cakes in Downtown Disney delivering? We will be staying offsite (Holiday Inn across from DTD) for 2 nights prior to our cruise and will be there for my bf's birthday. He has a severe dairy allergy so I need something he can eat that can also be delivered to our hotel.

Thanks guys!

Yacht & Beach Club (Yachstman Steakhouse) used the Yacht/Beach Club as it's cake source, correct? So it sounds like a 6" is the smallest option for us? I'm thinking that's way to much for the 2 of us! And those 6" cakes aren't available in customizable flavors, if I'm reading that right? I'm waiting for a call back, but expecting to have to cancel out order. I'm a little bummed, but I guess we'll just have a couple of yummy desserts there at Yachtsman instead!

Could you please let us know what options the Y&B club give you? We'll be there in about 2 months. Trying to decide if I should order a cake or not. Thanks!

We ordered the mini two-tiered cake (mini wedding cake?) from Y&BC bakery to be delivered to Le Cellier in January. It came out great. It was chocolate with chocolate mousse filling, I had them cover it with dark purple fondant and put silver mickey stamps on it. They added white fondant to the base board and cut out mickeys on that. It was about $55 total if I remember correctly, the fondant added to the price. They acted like the mincake was no big deal.

The flash blows out the color, but it was really a pretty dark purple!

My husband and I are taking our kids to Disney World for their first visit and we'd like to order a cake to have delivered to Whispering Canyon for dinner our first night.

Who do I contact to have a custom cake made? Email or phone number

Thanks!!

It sounds like, from Kimann's experience, the Yacht & Beach Club bakery WILL do minicakes, so that might be a good options for you. Otherwise, yes, historically they have refused to do fancy fondant cakes smaller than 10 inches, so your 6-inch cake would have to be a standard design. But, again, they may be getting more flexible in this regard.

This is great information—I'll update the Cake FAQ! :thumbsup2

Hmm, Well that stinks. I don't want anything giant. I guess we will just share a cupcake somewhere. :lovestruc

OK, now that it looks like Yacht & Beach Club can do minicakes, I'd try calling them and seeing if they'd deliver one to either of the restaurants you mentioned.

Will do! They called tonight and left a message while I was not available--I'll call back and hopefully speak with someone tomorrow!

Yep--checked it! Thanks.:)

Thanks again to Lurkyloo for helping with a BW bakery cake last year! That cake is somewhere in an old post. While not a Disney cake, I wanted to post a picture of my son's baptism cake I had made locally last month. His nursery is Lion King themed so I went with a Noah's ark cake to tie in the theme with the baptism.

I apologize in advance for not going through the entire thread, but has anyone done anything (cake or anything else special) at AKL lately? The links I found on the first page seemed a bit older for AKL items.

TIA!

We are going in October and are staying at POR. I am looking into getting a cake for my brother in laws birthday. We want it to be Disney and fishing related. Is there any way we can have that as a 6 inch cake? Info please and thanks!

White Chocolate Stitch Figure

Here are some shots of Disney's new white chocolate Stitch character, which costs $35 and tastes absolutely terrible (well, at least the one I had delivered to my room at the Grand Floridian did!). Still, it might make a cute cake topper...

Wondering how much it would cost to have this painted?!
