Thank you to everyone who has shared ideas and photos in this thread- I drew a lot of inspiration from them!
I wanted to post pictures of the cake that Chef Brian made for my parents' anniversary. I had him create a Main Street Electrical Parade cake! The MSEP logo was done in fondant and the stand-up turtle, dragon, and train on the cake were white chocolate pieces. It was a chocolate cake with chocolate mousse inside, covered in chocolate buttercream. I had it served to our table at Chef Mickey's, as a surprise. It was very very tasty and I loved the way it turned out.

). Alternatively, you could see if AKL would pick up a cake from the Contemporary—it can be a lot easier to work with them on a custom cake than the GF.

I'm going to order a cake for my and dh's anniversary dinner at California Grill in December.. and I've seen SOO many beautiful cakes but none that feel like us! Both of us feel like Main Street is our favorite place to be ... but other than simply saying "Main Street," I don't have any other ideas! Any cake lovers with ideas? Or has anyone seen anything that's not posted on this thread?
