That is a very beautiful cake. Congratulations your 24th Anniversary.
Thank you! The cake turned out great.

Thanks for the help you have given me so far, hoping you can help me again. I have been e-mailing Chef Brian about 2 cakes which I need at MK 2 weeks from today and we have agreed on the designs. My question is when should I contact MK cakes to place my final order? Is today too soon? Also, I want to order the glass slipper dessert for CRT a few days later. Do I do this through them also or through the CRT special events e-mail?
This is true. We have had several nut free cakes--from GF, the Contemporary, Animal Kingdom Lodge. We have actually started getting a cake for every trip so my nut allergic Dd can have dessert that is safe. Works out great and so much fun. Animal kingdom lodge is up in October. Never worked with them before, but they were great.I just w
I just wanted to mention that I have children with severe life threatening allergies and Disney has been fabulous with providing safe cakes for us. I wouldn't rule out their ability to make a nut allergy safe cake. I'm pretty sure I've seen other posts from people with nut allergies who have ordered cakes without issue.
Just a thought.
I just ordered my niece's first birthday cake, and I'm so excited! Her b-day is Oct. 1st and we'll be doing MNSSHP that night. Have a 5:05 ADR @ Crystal Palace. I had a really good idea of what I wanted, 6in marble cake w/chocolate mousse filling and vanilla buttercream, Little Mermaid theme. I've never ordered a cake from MK before, always worked directly with the pastry teams @ CR or GF, but it couldn't have been easier. Just e-mailed all my info and my inspiration picture to Amy @ CRT special events yesterday and it was all set up by this morning. Just had to share somewhere that other people would actually care![]()
Oh nOOOO- This is exactly the cake I wanted- Well I wanted the topper on a buttercream cake not a fondant cake....I wonder how much they want for those topper hats?
Yes, please do. I wonder if the price can vary by the whim of the CM.

@Disney_Alli moved a cake for a split stay by having bell services move and store it.Sort of OT and obscure, but has anyone moved a cake for a split stay without a car? think it works best for me to order my birthday from the BC, but we are only there for 2 nights.
Can I ask Bell Services to hold the cake between check out at BC and receiving our new room assignment? I know they have a fridge - I have had perishable groceries delivered before check in in the past. But I dont know if they would accept a half eaten cake!Should I move it to a Tupperware bowl for ease of transport? Any other suggestions or advice appreciated!

Bell Services did transfer it for us... It arrived upside down though. I'd put it in Tupperware and be prepared for it to get a little mangled but mushed cake is just as yummy as perfect cake.
I am feeling without inspiration for a Little Mermaid/Ariel themed cake for my daughter's Sweet Sixteen celebration in a few months.[/QUOTE
Have you googled Ariel cake? I'm not computer savvy so I can't copy and paste some of the cakes that popped up- but plenty of awesome cake images under that search!!! A lot of blue fondant cake- most layered with Ariel at the top and a sea theme on the lower layers!
I am looking into getting a cake for my sons 10th Birthday, his favorite ride is Expedition Everest, we are staying at the GF but will be at Chef Mickeys on his actual birthday. I am not sure if I should order thru GF or Contemporary, which place does the better custom cakes? Any ideas would be great
