Awesome!! I hope you enjoy it! I ordered the cupcakes toppers from ETSY. If you want to add some to your cake, just search mickey cupcake toppers. The lady I ordered from had lots of characters and designs!

I looked into them. We need the cake for Monday so it may be tough. I'll see what a Florida etsy seller can do for me. Found lots.

Ok, so after browsing all 109 pages of this thread and even creeping in on some of the previous boards (part 2, 3, etc), it's time I speak up We are scheduled to do a Chef Mickey Brunch on our arrival day in November. We will be celebrating my son's 7th birthday and my husband and I will also be celebrating our 10 year anniversary. I've pretty much resolved to do 2 different cakes. I'm teetering on a mini cake to look like our wedding cake for my hubs and I, but I'm up in the air on what to do for my son. I had considered a Mickey mini cake, but he also really loves Stitch and I didn't know if they could do something fun with that. I'm open to suggestions if anyone has any. In theory, I'd combine the two celebrations for a 6 or 8 inch cake but they seem to distinct to be able to do that...

Has anyone ordered a Seven Dwarfs Mine Train cake? Or how about a Spaceship Earth cake? When did the custom cakes go to the printed chocolate? I have ordered several cakes over the years and the chef's use to mold fondant.

I am so sorry that this my reply took so long. the price was $90. they could have done a cake with less layers for $76, but I didn't;t think it would look as good.

Chef Brian is the best! I emailed him today at 7am and he responded by 7:10 am. The whole cake process took under an hour. I had been working with the Magic Kingdom for over a week and still didn't have a cake order finalized. Chef Brian will be having the cake delivered to our Villa at Wilderness Lodge this coming Tuesday. He's doing an eight inch, three layer vanilla cake with Bavarian cream, mickey swirls and buttercream roses for only $40! We are celebrating the end of a terrific homeschooling year! The kids will be thrilled.

I'm super excited to have found reservations to Chef Mickeys and BOG for my trip on 8/27-9/1.. Now it comes down to when to have the birthday cake ! I have a couple of cake ideas for a Big Hero 6 theme. If worse comes to worse I'm sure my 6 year old son would appreciate Perry or Mickey ..

My dilemma is should I have the cake for our breakfast reservation? I know cake sounds silly for breakfast but our reservation is for 10:50. Assuming it's going to be busy ( it's on a Saturday) we will probably get seated at around ~11:20 and by the time we finish eating it'll be noon.. Or should I wait for dinner at BOG at 8:30? Would they have the cake that late in the day ? Thanks in advance

my suggestion would be to think about what you plan on doing after those meals and let that guide your decision. You need to think about what to do with any leftover cake since the restaurants won't hold it for you. If you are staying in the park after bog dinner, then cm may be your better bet. unless you are heading to MK after cm, then bog may be your better bet.

That's what I am planning for December! I will be celebrating my unbirthday, so will be ordering a Mad Hatter cake....and what better place to eat it than 1900 Park Fare breakfast?! I figure I'll have a fresh strawberry filling to keep it healthy

I guess when the lawyers started to take an interest in IP on cakes? Any new sculpted Disney figure has to go through a long approval process to be sure it's on-model. They do have a small sculpted chocolate Spaceship Earth that they've put on "Around the World (at Epcot)" themed wedding cakes. Getting one for a non-wedding cake may be like pulling teeth, though.

My DH ended up too sick for his birthday dinner (headache and heat got the best of him). I took the kids to Yachtsman anyhow, our waiter and the manager arranged to have the cake delivered to our room...

A mine cake should be easy - currently the popcorn souvenir bucket is a 7Dwarf Mine cart - so a cake fashioned from a picture of that should be easy!

Its hard to get a good picture with camera phone!

The Stitch fell over, and it was extra (again, I'd have to look through my notes, but I wanted Stitch, she gave me a choice of 5 Stitches) The base Stitch sits on is white chocolate, and propped up with more white chocolate - and the sprinkle candy is a nice Mickey touch!

The frosting is not heavily sweet, its perfect! It tastes more like whipped cream, light and just the right amount of sweetness, no greasy taste at all! I'm very pleased!

Got my cake today. I was beyond impressed. Vanilla with vanilla buttercream, Bavarian cream, eight inch cake. Made by contemporary. Delivered to my villa at Wilderness Lodge. The cake was so delicious. I wanted really big piping and Chef Brian delivered. We even discussed piping tip number prior to order. The butter cream was delicious as was the filling. Best cake I've ever ordered. I think this was the fourth or fifth.

The top cake was my inspiration cake. The bottom cake is mine. I got the cake toppers off etsy.
