Going to the thyroid doc in the morning! Wish me luck I should be able to find out from this doc if she thinks I will be able to go on my trip.

I hope it goes well and please let us know what happens. My fingers are crossed that you get to take your trip to Disney.

Thyroid doc says the dizziness has nothing to do with my thyroid, she has no clue what is wrong with me in terms of that....Have to go back to PCP and see what he thinks next, probably a neurologist
I do have to have the needle biopsy, sometime before Christmas, she said it wasn't critical enough to have right away, I could wait until February if I wanted to....But I dont want to wait, I want to get it over with.
Can't give me any meds until we know if it's an over or under active thyroid.
Unless a miracle falls on my lap I am canceling probably Tuesday, no use prolonging the agony.

I am so sorry Sorry that you have to cancel your trip and very sorry that they can't find what is causing it and fix it. The needle biopsy is that on the thyroid? And I can understand wanting to get it over and done with...it's better to know one way or the other whats going on. I am very sorry , I can only imagine how frustrating this all is. Can you take a trip in the spring when all this is over ? A trip to celebrate feeling better? That would be nice.

Yes, the biopsy is on the thyroid.
Yes, I can take a trip in the Spring, I can use whatever DVC points from this trip that have been put in holding....It would be a solo trip, but that's fine with me! And then I have New Orleans in April

I have never taken a solo trip. I wish I had taken a few when I was single instead of taking my whiny hard to deal with friends with me Thankfully DH is easy going and doesn't care what we do , he goes with the flow and I over plan so it evens out.

What is PyrateCon2008? It sounds interesting...

If you ever get a chance to go solo, do it....It's so great! I am an early riser, so I like to get up when I want and go when I want! I do love taking my BF though, as he and I have similar travel styles, but some of my friends cant make it to a park before 11am.

I know what you mean about taking friends who can't get up before lunch time I had a friend I traveled with a couple of times to New York City to visit my brother. And she would get up around 9-10am and then she needed an hour to two hours to get ready to leave the room. She had to sit alone for about half an hour after she woke up so I would get up early shower and hit the streets.....I would see more sights before she got out of bed than she saw all day. I wonder if now thats she's married if she still does that weird sit alone thing after she wakes up And friends like her are why I don't have many girlfriends anymore.

Went to the doc yesterday, he told me ''stop worrying, don't put your life on hold, and go to WDW and have a good time''
He prescribed a medicine for me that is actually for patients w/anxiety, but also can be used for dizziness...I started it this morning, it works great No dizziness today at all! And he also prescribed something for travellers, it's a patch that goes behind your ear, you can ear it for 72 hours at a time, you can shower with it, sleep with it, etc, then you can change it and put on another one....He thinks it will help with the plane flight.
I am so excited
