...my friend, Denise (Richie's mom) says that they are taking VERY GOOD care of him...

NEW update:

Kidney, was NOT removed yet; drs. are still trying to see whether it is salvagable....however, he did have a ruptured spleen and broken pelvis...once he is stabilized for at least 24 hours with no other complications, they will arrange to have Richie transferred to Hackensack Medical Center....His face, neck and arms are all swollen and he is HEAVILY sedated on meds....although he is still critical and is in ICU, his mother wanted for his friends to see him, 2 at a time VERY BRIEFLY, to bring home the message: THIS IS WHAT COULD HAPPEN TO YOU FROM MAKING BAD CHOICES!!! (apparently, there seems to be some involvement of illegal substances... )

Sorry I haven't checked in until now but I've had the flu since Wednesday night. One of the joys of taking care of a baby. They get sick, you get sick. Anyway, I'm feeling a little better today and thought I'd let y'all know I hadn't dropped off the map.

Actually, it's even WORSE. Not only will he not be able to have children, but he will not be able to have sex :guilty:

(that is how badly he was crushed in the vehicle!) They have him off the heavy meds but he has not come out of the coma yet.....all his ribs on the left side of his body are broken, too....he is SO not out of the woods, yet, so prayers are DEFINITELY welcome...

Louis was released on Thursday with contusions to his face and a broken arm. Joe was transferred to Hackensack Medical Center. He has a broken leg, but they are concerned with the bleeding/blood clot in his brain.
