I'm sad Rex died. I liked his quirkiness. Ya don't suppose it's one of those soap opera deaths, where he's not really dead, but the Dr. told Bree he was to try to trap her into a confession? :sad1:

Why would Bree be trapped into a confession?
If he is actually dead, it's the switch in the medication that did him in, she (Bree) had nothing to do with that.

That Carlos. "Whadenacta" Let's almost get away scott free with gay bashing the lawn boy, only to snap in the courtroom threatening to kill someone else.
Poor Gaby. She didn't think this through. Now she will have no choice but to get up in the middle of the night with Junior as Daddy will still be in the big house. Looks like that Maserati WILL be outfitted with that car seat after all!

Looks like the new neighbors have something to hide as well. Ooohhhh, they did NOT want Edie in their house for some reason. No doubt going to be a good story here later next season.

Now that Lynette is going to have to call her friend, (Peterson's wife) and ask if she can become a "shark" after all. Soon Lynette will be setting the advertising world on fire-you watch she will end up going toe to toe with Tom's ex-girlfriend in the near future while Tommy boy is at home baking brownies and sorting socks. I can't believe how well he is taking Lynette screwing with his career. He must really have something to hide that he doesn't want Lynette to find out about. :teeth:

I do wonder what the story line with Bree will be now that good ole Rex has bit the dust. Will George be found out that he was short changing Rex's pills? Will he become more proficient at miniature golf? :confused3

Maybe Bree's gay son will hook up with the gay lawn boy, move in together, need cable, call the other guy Carlos almost killed, and the three of them will get a spin off sitcom similar to Three's Company. Mrs Hubers sister, if she recovers from the beating Zach gave her, could play the role of the landlord.

Speaking of Zach, where will this kid end up? Now that his "Mother" killed herself, as well as now knowing she killed his real Mother, his "Dad" Paul is stuck in the middle of no where, Will he figure out who his real Dad is? Will Susan and Mike put him up at their place? Will he be allowed to date Julie? Will he and Mike in an effort at "family bonding" take shooting lessons together? :confused3

What a long summer this is gonna be! :sunny:

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Really enjoyed this post! A great recap and a lot of interesting what if's.

Because all the doctor could find so far is an increase in Rex's potassium. He has figured out the the medication was switched. It's only known that it is due to something he injested, likely something Bree would have cooked. Rex's doctor knew of Bree and Rex's marital woes and that Bree has "attempted" to harm him before...gave him onions in a salad, which he is allergic. At this point all evidence points to Bree.

Great cliffhanger. Will Zach shoot Mike, will Mike live to tell him the whole truth? What about the new neighbors and what are they hiding (wouldn't allow Edie inside)?

This is what I thought a while ago too.

Maybe Bree's gay son will hook up with the gay lawn boy, -- I thought Bree's son, Andrew, said he was only kidding about being gay? :confused3

I'm disappointed that Rex died also. I liked the Bree/Rex storyline.

A few weeks ago I guessed at everything & told my DH what I thought. The only thing I had wrong was that Diedre sold her baby. I thought they just kidnapped him & killed Diedre at the time. Sounds like she didn't have too good a relationship with her dad.

I can't wait for next season. Looks like Carlos will be incarcerated for a while!!! Poor Gabby - she'll actually have to take care of that baby. I wonder what will happen between her & John now though! :)

They are not blood related, so technically they could date. I wouldn't want to see them get married and have kids though.

"Kids, when Daddy was younger, he held Granny (Susan) hostage once with a gun" (wouldn't make for too many good memories, I'm sure)

I don't think it's Bree, I think it's George (the psycho pharmacist).

I don't think they figured out that the pills Rex has been taking were the incorrect ones...I don't remember them EVER mentioning the medication...only "assuming" it was something he "ate". (injested - food or medication...either one...)

even if Rex did figure out it was his med's (with that "I forgive you note" he wrote to bree)...she still didn't do it.

nice to see Bree finally lose it though.

Great post! That about sums it all up. :rotfl2: I agree, a very long summer! I love this show.

Thanks Sandy!

I think Andrew is confused. He can't really relate to his Mother Bree. His Dad, Rex will now be dead, he's showing no remorse for running over Mrs. Solice, this boy is just looking very confused to me.

They will have to think about building a prison if things keep going this way. Half the people on Wisteria Lane need/are/sooner or later about to be incarcerated.
Carlos : in jail
Paul: needs to be
Andrew: needs to be in therapy, ticketed for leaving the scene of an accident and now have sky high/about to be cancelled insurance policy.
George:will end up there
Bree; will go on trial for the suspicion of murder-will end up being exonerated-but not until the third season or until the jailhouse looks nicely decorated and has better food.
Zach: will get arrested after he accidently shoots Mike or for holding Susan hostage and bruising up Mrs Hubers sister, he will end up in the nuthouse where he will meet and fall in love with his shrink his my prediction. :confused3
Mike will be arrested at first for abandoning Paul in the middle of nowhere, BUT, when it is determined that Paul has been up to no good, burying and then digging up dead bodies and killing Mrs Huber-being 2 of his extra curricular activities-Paul will be in jail and Mike will get a key to the city, given to him by the new Mayor. WHO will no doubt end up being the new character, Alfre Woodards husband. (Everybody knows how much those politicians have to hide) :teeth:

So I count 8 characters in or should be in jail. And everybody lives on the same street. Must be something in the water.

If Bree gets charged, she'll have a hard time convincing anyone she didn't do it. George broke into their home & replaced the wrong pills with the right ones - that is when he found the S & M things. I suppose if they looked for strange fingerprints but the way Bree cleans.....

Didn't anyone else think the lawn boy told Carlos on purpose knowing he'd flip out in court and maybe he'd end up with Gabby after all?

I apparently missed a show or two (started watching the reruns on Saturdays) because I never did see the one with Oprah.

::yes:: I've thought the same thing for awhile now.

anyone watch GMA this morning?
what was the 'secret scene'?

Is he his father or his uncle? Was Mike Deidra's boyfriend or brother? :confused3

My DH thinks he was the boyfriend and that Zach is his son.

Did anyone else feel sorry for Paul after last night's episode? I did, and I wasn't really impressed with Mary Alice's behavior. She was very cold hearted - "We'll just have to make her fit." Do you suppose that Mike brought him home or left him out there?

It will be hard to prove that George killed Rex, but I think that he will say something and slip. Poor Bree.

The Lynette and Tom thing worked out too well, I think. She will love going back to work.

Is anyone else annoyed by the secret episode on GMA? I pick shows to watch when I'm available to watch them. GMA is not one of them. Doesn't fit into my schedule. Isn't it like 2 hours long or something? Oh well, I'm sure someone here will fill me in.

the only thing that surprised me last night was that they bought the baby and that Mary Alice killed Deidre - it put Paul in a different light to me! He still killed Mrs. Huber but I don't think he was as violent as I thought

the Oprah episode only aired on her show - it wasn't a real episode.

someone said they thoguht Bree's son would hook up with the gay gardener - they alreaedy have - he was the one in the pool with him
