Well that is so soap operaish. I don't think Desperate Housewives would try to pull that kind of thing off. They would actually kill the actor off.

And Gabby has TWO kids....she also looked a bit tired....

No Edie at all. Lynette continues to have children issues. Bree is back with Orson. Who was kissing Susan, Adam??? And Dylan is getting married.

Jumping in here because I just watched the finale and WOW I needed someone to talk to! Way to change it up there at the end. 5 years later?? That's a lot! I wonder how many years later the series will start at in the Fall? Or years earlier???

I think the next few seasons will be the filler. We just already know the ending. Just a guess mind you.

I hear next season will pickup where the finale left off - 5 years ahead. The season will be told in flashbacks to explain how everyone got to where they are. Don't know if that's true, but read it in a lot of "gossip" pages in the local papers.

It would explain Marc Cherry's comment that Edie would be back "years later" as in 5 years later being next season.

My first thought was that it was Adam with Susan but no one else in the group I watch with thought so or caught it. Glad to see I'm not alone in my suspicions.

I don't know what to think about Gaby and the kids. Seems like her life does a complete 180.

And Lynette's kids, the way the show has been going, I'm not surprised.

I agree with you about Lynette's kids, they were a mess and i wonder what happend to the Girl, she has the pattern of a serial Killer.

It's funny you say that about the girl. As she was leaving with the grandparents I said to my friends "she's gonna kill grandpa and grandma."

I thought the guy Susan was kissing at the end was the fiance that she had to choose between Mike and him? It was a quick profile look, but that's what I thought when I saw him.

Burying your own child in the backyard? Then, replacing her with another child CREEPY! Was that a bookshelf on her, like she climbed up there for the doll? No one heard anything? That explaination wasn't satisfying at all.

Gabby looked very frazzled That kid couldn't have been much younger than 5 so she must get pregnant net season.

I was kind of dissapointed with the ending. I had heard the five year ahead rumor, and thought it would be kind of cool to see where all the housewives were in the future, but I didn't like the ending.

I thought Katherine seemed the same, Gaby looked horrible, (but I read in an article, that they made her look like she let herself go, so I guess it worked,) Bree looked, I don't want to say older, but she looked different, Lynette looked stressed, but with her kids being arrested, who wouldn't, and Susan looked good.

I liked the Gabrielle and Lynette plot lines. I was so mad when I saw someone other then Mike with Susan. My first thought was that maybe Mike had died in the five years, but if not there is no reason for Susan to be with anyone else as far as I'm concerned.

I for one don't care if Mike is gone. I never found the guy very attractive and his story line got really boring over time. So, I'm glad there is a new guy.

I hope we get to see more of Andrew's devious nature when he is working as Bree's manager. I miss Bad Andrew.

I like Dana Delaney as Katherine and I hope they give her something good and meaty to do.

I'm not sure how I feel about Gabby as a mother. She is soooo funny in her irredeemable shallowness, but I wouldn't find that at all amusing in a mother.

No one should be surprised the Scavo boys are headed for jail. I'm sure Tom will find a way to blame Lynette for it, of course. I am very glad Kayla is gone. Kayla was a dealbreaker for me. Now, if Tom would die, I might watch the show (as opposed to reading while it's on in the same room). I just can't stand that character at all.
