I just watched this tonight --Yes, I'm admitting to being a Fri. night homebody!:happytv:

Did anyone else think the way the women handled Edie was like a playground argument? So, childish and not near up to their creative standards! That makes me think Edie is on her way out and they had to play to that. "We're not going to speak to you again!" "Did you hear something? Well, neither did I!" I felt like Edie had a right to say something about the baby, afterall, she IS the baby's family too (although that's not the reason she said something)

The Mother-in-law from "H-E -double hockey sticks" was hillarious!:rotfl:

I hope Brie and Orson get back together--I don't like her away from him! She's evil!

Wow! Kayla is a piece of work! :scared1: What would you do in Lynette's place? I kept trying to think of that and couldn't imagine what I would do!

I think the Edie scene was a late add-on, when they decided to write her out of the series, perhaps?

I just watched that and Grey's last night, so don't feel so bad.

Lynette and Tom communicate beautifully on most things... except that devil child. She needs to lay down the law to Tom on how that girl will fit into their lives. WTH is up with him being only beholden to her and not to his other kids and his wife. Guilt only explains so much. Why would he not want to get her the help she obviously needs.

Oh, and the psychiatrist pushing aside all of Lynette's concerns was just wrong.

I didn't see the part with Lynette & the psychiatrist, but I think that Tom thinks he is getting Kayla help by having her see the psychiatrist, and that he doesn't see how badly Kayla is treating Lynette. He definitely needs to intervene more, but Kayla is just being a brat! Lynette is really making an effort with her, but the girl just wants to cause trouble. I don't advocate child abuse in any way, but I did feel a little satisfaction when Lynette slapped her. Too bad it's going to come back and bite her in the you-know-what after Kayla called the psychiatrist and said it has happened before.

I do believe that Marc Cherry himself was interviewed and "hinted" Edie would be back in a few years. ...which was confusing, because that is when the series is supposed to wrap up. So, is he hinting that Edie isn't coming back BUT she will for the series finale? (Isn't Nicolette pregnant in real life?)

That's what I read anyway... :confused3

It is also possible the "plot lines" of the episodes will jump ahead a few years, or there will be flashback sequences.

You know how Mary Alice begins each episode, well she could say something like "After one neighbor leaves, others move in. Wisteria Lane is much like other neighborhoods, time passes, friendships are made, friendships are broken, people move in, people move out. But today on Wisteria Lane an old sparring partner is about to return to residence...."

I'm soooooooo EXCITED!!!! I recently got the first season on dvd from swapadvd.com, so when this season is over I think I will start watching the first one again.

I do remember the "flash forward" thing and I do remember hearing (a while back) that MaryAlice was going to make more 'appearances' (not just a voice)...

I think they are supposed to flash forward 5 years....when Susan's kid would be in kindergarten :sad2:

What happened after Susan walked in the door? My DVR switched over to start taping something else and I missed it.

HELP!!!:scared1:

Oh My Goodness! So...the end...will they spend the next season explaining what happened in those 5 years? And where is MIKE?

I am so disgusted by this show! The story of Katherine's little girl was just beyond heartbreaking and I don't watch these shows to get myself that depressed! I have no idea what that was supposed to be at the end - is this the end of the series? I think I am finished with it anyway!

WHO in the world was that at the end?????? That was NOT MIKE!!!! :scared:

I need to watch the end again.....at first glance I thought it was Catherine's husband. Obviously, not Wayne but the other guy (brain freeze, cant think of his name)

eta....guess I wasnt the only one that thought it was Adam (thanks for defrosting my brain :teeth: )
