I know! I was thinking the same thing! I actually checked during a commercial to see if it really was the finale. Then that happened!?!?!? That can't really be what happens. I'm sure they will find a way 'around it' in the first episode of the new season. Although I hate when shows do that. They leave with this big cliffhanger, and then it's not really what you thought it was when the new season comes back.

Did anyone else have sound issues tonight? We DVR'd it and the soundtrack started (music, birds, etc) but there were no voices until Gabby went to Carlos to tell him to come to the wedding. I didnt hear a word of Mary Alice's voice over or the entire scene when Gabby was getting ready.

Yes, she did. But after they got married she heard Victor and his Father talking about the marriage, she was dissapointed and then she found Carlos and they kissed.

Personally, I think that Carlos (or maybe someone else) will walk in and see what Edie has done and rescue her before it is too late. JMO.

I don't see how it couldn't be Edie. Maybe she's leaving the show? Has that been said. Not much is going anywhere with her character anyway,it seems. I have to check out the abc.com boards. I bet they're buzzing..lol

Gosh, I hope it IS Edie. I don't like her character AT ALL. I think they tried to make her like Samantha on SATC but Samantha was a deeper character and in her own way, endearing. Edie is just blatant trash in expensive dresses.

Carlos needs to save Gabby from Victor. Couldn't he have found a more subservient Latina to marry if he was just going for the Hispanic vote? Seems like he's bitten off more than he'll be able to chew with her.

How about Bree's story line? I really thought she would have had a surgical augmentation with the way everyone gasped in the preview. I didn't think she was going to fake a pregnancy! I wonder how they'll handle her "delivery" when the time comes. Danielle is bitter. She'll blow the whole thing when she's allowed back to Wisteria Lane.

So, Lynette is going to be all wishy washy again? She needs to grow back her pair and find her backbone with her mother. Weak Lynette won't be able to fight cancer the same way strong Lynette would. When did they become so cash-strapped? When Tom went back to the restaurant and decided to just make pizza again? Seemed like they were doing ok when they had a chef, so they should hire another chef. Case closed.

The wedding in the woods was weird. Sure, romantic, but in a weird sort of way.

So, the running theme on this street is that there are a few with money and the rest are strapped to keep up with the others? Lynette doesn't have money now; Susan couldn't pay for her medical care; Mike couldn't pay for his attorney....

Well they showed Edie in the same color nightgown as the person hanging. And it was Edie's house. And they showed a letter written to Carlos from her. I don't think we have any reason to not think it's Edie.

I thought it was going to be implants too. But I've got to hand it to Bree, she came up with a great plan to cover Danielle's pregnancy in typical Bree fashion.
