Tonights seasons Finale was a series of flashbacks.
WARNING!!! TOTAL RECAP ATTACHED!!
We open with Betty Applewhite and the narrator talking about Bettys past. Seems Betty thinks moving at 2 am is a dandy idea.
Then they take us back a year to when Matthew was breaking up with his then girlfriend Melanie Foster. When Matthew tries to break up with her, she resists and wants Matt to meet her at the Lumber Yard later. Caleb overhears this and HE meets her at the Lumber yard. He surprises Melanie by telling her that Matthew doesnt want to see her and he Caleb wanted to be her new boyfriend. When she resists, Calab ends up hitting her with a crowbar killing her. Caleb then runs home to Mommy Betty.
Betty sees Caleb covered in blood and they move away from Chicago.
Well after this flashback, Betty and Caleb walk outside and the police show up on Wisteria Lane and toss Betty in the back of a police cruiser with all the gang watching the proceeding.
Everyone must choose the road they take in life as next we see how everyone moved into Wisteria Lane.
We see Susan with a much longer haircut and a much younger Julie moving in. Clumsy Susan locks herself in the back of the moving van and Mary Alice Young is the one that rescues her. They become friendly and Mary Alice invites her for coffee.
Flash to present and see Susans burned out shell of a house that Edie burned down! Julie is being led down the street with a blindfold that Susan then whips off only to show Julie their new trailer that they will be living in.
Gaby wants to go to the Country Club to take tennis lessons. Seems Carlos cant go though as he has to pick up trash on the highway as a condition of his parole!
Tom sees Susan on the street and wonders if she has heard from Lynette. She tells him NO and then when he walks away, she gets out her cell phone and calls Lynette who is at a hotel pool with her kids. Lynette tells Susan that she doesnt want to talk to Tom.
Seems Betty will have a friend in jail as we now get to see Paul Young in the slammer visiting with Zach. They are discussing Felicia and how she is obviously setting him up. He wants Zach to get him money and talk to Noah. He yells at Zach when he says he doesnt want to get him any money, nor talk to Noah. Zach is upset with Paul and tells him he knows he is not his father. Paul then tells Zach that his mother killed herself trying to protect him (Zach)
Okay now 12 years ago. Mary Alice is meeting Bree for the first time. She is returning a ceramic frog that Andrew has helped himself to. Now we meet a much younger Rex and a young Andrew that Bree has made apologize for stealing the frog. Susan is also at the door with a funny looking perm hairdo!!
Next we see Bree who is obviously daydreaming this scene. She is sitting in her new rest home and Orson (Susans dentist friend has walked up and is saying hello)
A lady sees Bree and talks to her about others in the home.
Back to Susan-present day who is spraying for ants in her new digs-the trailor home! Mike has brought her some coffee and they sit down in a couple lawn chairs to talk about relationships. Karl has now appeared and demands to know why Susan is living in a trailer with their dd Julie. Mike takes this time to seductively kiss Susan.
Gaby is at the Country Club golfing with her golf pro. He leaves her at the outside bar and while Gaby is waiting for her drink a news blast comes on talking about an accident on the highway involving a hispanic male that was a former prominent businessman and he has been killed on the roadside and they cannot release his name until next of kin has been notified. All of a sudden Gabys cell phone rings.
Next we see Gaby at the front of her house staring at the house. She tells Charmaine that Carlos is dead. The maid says "Please dont kill him" Gaby says he is already dead that there has been an accident. Charmaine says, No he in kitchen. Turns out Carlos has hired "Ralph" to do the road work for him and that must be who is dead.
Gaby then wants to know why Carlos is sweaty. He claims he was on the treadmill but Gaby thinks he may have been treading on Charmaine instead.
Bree is meeting with a counsellor at the home who wants to know what is happening in her life and how she feels about her kids. Bree just wants drugs and when the Dr says NO she gets angry and starts to leave.
Okay back at the jail, Betty is being interogated. The police tell her they think her son Caleb has killed Melanie Foster. She denies this and tells the cops he has the mind of a child. But they have a jacket they say belongs to Caleb. Betty then tries to sell out Matthew by telling the police that the jacket is Matthews.
Next we see Matthew overlooking Melanie who it turns out is NOT DEAD. She wants Matthew to come over to her house. He refuses. She now decides to threaten going to the cops about Caleb and they get in a fight where Matthew it turns out is the real killer when HE re hits Melanie with the same crowbar as Caleb used earlier. He then removes his jacket and covers her face with it. (same jacket that was just shown to Betty at the jail)
Fast forward to now and Matthew is in a hotel room with Danielle who is laying on a bed with Matthew staring at her. Not much of a scene here.
8 years ago. Now we meet Lynette. Bree, Susan and Mary Alice are standing out front and Lynette wants to know what they think about getting pregnant.
She is mad at Tom because she is now PG with twins and is kind of freaking them all out with her "panic attack" We see that Lynette is loosely wound here.
Fast forward to Lynette who is talking to her kids and tells them that they are going home tomorrow, not to their regular home but to Grandmas. She tells them they will not be living with Daddy anymore. They just want to go back in the pool though and seem to care less.
Mike is at a jewelers when Karl walks in looking for a watch battery. Mike tells Karl he is buying a gift for his Grandmother when the jeweler comes out with an engagement ring that Karl sees and criticyzes the small size of.
Zach goes to see Noah and asks for money. Noah says NO. Zach wants to know why, as Noah is dying soon and why cant Zach have his money. Noah then tells Zach he wants him to get out he has no use for weakness. Zach turns to leave, but locks himself in with Noah and turns off the machine that is keeping Noah alive. As Noah lay dying, Zach sits down to watch.
3 years ago. The girls meet GABY. She jumps out from behind a box in a red bra! Now Carlos comes out with a shirt and missing pants.
Now fast forward to now and Gaby wants to have sex. Carlos turns her down and Gabrielle is not pleased. Carlos sits the fact that a good man died today and he couldnt have sex now.
Gaby tells Carlos that Charmaine said something funny about earlier that day when she said dont kill Carlos. Carlos blames Charmaines bad english.
Karl is trying to wreck the day. He shows up at Susans trailer and drives the 3 of them away to a new house that he has bought for her and Julie to live in. Julie is happy as these new digs come with a pool and a jacuuzzi!! He tells Susan that she should be happy as it would be more secure as no one could drive away in the new house. Susan is reluctant to accept the "charity".
Back to Bree who still at the rest home is now retreiving messages on her cell phone.
Felicia has scared her with a message saying that Matthew is the real killer of that girl and now Danielle is in danger. Bree now hurriedly wants to check out of the hospital but is restrained by the Orderlies when she tries. The Dr then tells Bree he knows what is best for her.
Zach is outside at Noahs and is being directed to go inside by a butler as the money left for him by the now dead Noah needs to be taken care of. In the meantime Zach gets a call from Paul who wants to know about the money. Zach lies and tells Paul that Noah wont give him any money and also won't change his mind.
Susan and Julie are loading up a trailer with their stuff and Mike walks up. He is confused when Karl announces he bought them a house. Mike is curious and gets mad at Karl and says "You saw me buying that ring". Susan then tries to break up the mens fight. When Mike punches Karl and Susan and Julie run to his side, Mike gets disgusted and walks away.
Meanwhile over at Gabys, she is questioning the maid about yesterday and why she said what she did about Gaby killing Mr Solice. Gaby then discovers ripped panties that belong to the maid and the maid claims she fell! Gaby marches the maid to the Dr's and wants the Dr to check and see if Charmaine is still a virgin!
Meantime back at the hotel, one of Lynettes kids, Porter falls off the balcony and breaks his arm. At the hospital Tom tries to talk to Lynette. He tells her he is not cheating on her. Lynette wants to know why he keeps going to Atlantic City then. Tom then tells her about the woman. Her name is Nora and 12 years ago she got pregnant by him in a one night stand. Seems she has an 11 year old daughter and DNA tests have proven that the child is Toms. Lynette then pushes Tom and he tells Lynette later that he didnt know about "Kayla" the dd until recently. Lynette is now crying and tells Tom that he scared her and that she was trying to let him go. Kids then walk in and Lynette tells them that they can all go home. Tom has his arm around Lynette.
Flashback time again. 5 years ago and Bree and Rex are in a drug store. Bree is ranting about their two kids rotten behavior. She then turns to Mr Williams (George) remember him?
Fast forward as Bree is really still in the rest home where she is trying to convince a janitor to unlock her from her restraints. The janitor tells her that he will get fired if he undoes the restraints, but Bree will not give up and keeps talking up a storm. The janitor stands his ground though and we next move back to Mike and Susan.
Seems Susie is concerned about the ring that Mike bought. But Mike is not interested because of her involvement with Karl. But Susan wants that ring!
Back at the hotel, Danielle and Matthew are talking. Seems Danielle wants to get something to eat but Matthew just wants to hide out.
Mike is at Orsons dentist office getting dental work done. He questions Mikes dental work as it looks like it was done in a prison dental shop. When Mike asks Orson where he is from, Orson says Virginia, but Mike sees the dentist diploma says Minnesota. Orson claims to registered in 3 states. He then gives Mike a shot in his mouth with a long needle.......??????
2 years ago. Now we see Gaby ranting on a phone about being cooped up in the house. Gaby then spots the gardener-John- remember him? She struts out to the garage and seduces him. Next thing you know we see him in their skivvies after they have obviously done the deed! (I thought their first time was that famous scene on the table) 
Gaby is telling John that Carlos is too busy for her and John kisses Gaby. She tells him that since this is the last time they will be having sex, they can do it again.
Fast forward to today as Gaby is now busy hiding baby monitors all over the house. She then tells Carlos that she will be gone from the house for 3 hours and for Carlos to have fun. Next thing we see is Gaby sitting in her car listening in on the monitor as Carlos is drooling over the maids cooking. Gaby gets bored and tosses said monitor on passenger seat.
Julie walks into the trailer as Susan is still packing up. Susan has sent Mike a card which we now see him reading that is inviting him over for dinner. He nods yes to her and walks back into his house.
Flashback 2 years and Lynette is in the hospital bed after giving birth. Tom leans over and is holding their latest addition and wants to name her Holly to which Lynette says NO she wants to name her Penny. She also wants Tom to promise that this will be the last baby. She tells him that 4 is plenty.
Fast forward to today and Tom and Lynette are waiting to now meet Kayla. Nora gets out of the car and runs up to Tom and hugs him. Tom wants to know where the daughter is but Nora tells him that she left her at a neighbors and didnt bring her along.
This Nora is a real peice of work. Unrefined and not at all what you would think Tom is attracted to. And much too young you would think would have an 11 year old. (she looks 20)
While sitting in a restaurant, Nora pulls out papers and wants Tom to pay through the nose for this kid. Lynette loses it and raises her voice and the whole restaurant can now hear Lynette spout off on how stupid Tom can be but that does not mean that they will be hoodwinked into paying her any money. Nor will they fall prey to extortion. Everyone at the eatery is now staring at them.
Susan tells Karl that she is going to marry Mike and that Karl needs to let go. He agrees. Short but sweet scene here.
Lynette and Tom are going through their finances and Lynette says they will have to dip into their pensions and they should pay Nora off with 30 thousand dollars to avoid paying back child support for 11 years.
Bree is sitting in her Dr office at the rest home. The counsellor is asking Bree why she wont talk about her kids. Bree says she is a failure of a parent. She then throws sand at the Drs face and runs from the office. He sets off an alarm though and we hear sirens blaring as Bree flees the hospital running down the street.
Now we are over at Lynettes house and Susan is talking to Lynette and Gaby about Mike. Lynettes baby monitor goes off and it seems it has picked up Gabys frequency. We now hear Carlos and the maid having sex in a car!!!
Gaby runs home and observes the two of them in the car getting busy. She then throws all of Carlos out the window and tells him to get lost. Carlos claims that Gaby had an affair and they can work it out, he will go get a hotel in the meantime. Gaby tells Carlos to get a lease instead it will be cheaper. She then walks back into the house where the maid Charmaine asks if she can leave now too. Gaby says NO you will be staying and making dinner, and as long as Charmaine is pregnant with HER child that she will be staying right there and not leaving!! Gaby the storms from the room reminding Charmaine that she (Gaby) is still the boss around that house.
Nora has now shown up at Toms and Lynettes. Lynette keeping her sense of humor, says "As the Mother of 80% of Toms children"
and basically tells Nora that enough is enough.
Nora then goes on to say that she has bought a house (with the check that Lynette and Tom have given her) near the mall and will now live closer to Tom so he can see their daughter. She throws the waiver across the table and also announces she wont seek past support. This girl is a peice of work as she starts making faces and noises at Lynette and starts saying things like "What is wrong with you lady"? and just quirky comments and so onwhen Lynette wonders how Nora will pay the mortgage as she has no job.
Danielle and Matthew pull up in front of the house and Danielle tries to get into the safe. Matthew says hold on and goes over to his house where Betty is waiting for him in the dark. She confronts Matthew about killing Melanie. Matthew then claims that he thinks that Betty loves Caleb more and she says he needs her more. After Matthew leaves with an axe, Betty picks up the phone and calls the police.
Meanwhile, Matthew and Danielle break into the safe and steal money from Bree. They are then down in the kitchen stealing her food, when Bree arrives in and tells Danielle that Matthew killed Melanie. She tries to warn Danielle who claims her Mother is wrong and should get out of the way. When Bree blocks the door, Matthew gets out a gun and aims it at Bree, Bree calls his bluff and walks towards him and tells hi to go ahead and do it. A sniper bullet takes Matthew out though in one shot to the chest.
Danielle screams as the body is taken away. Little bit of over acting here.
Mike is crossing the street with flowers and the ring on his way to Susans. But Orson the dentist is waiting in his car and speeds up and hits Mike as he is crossing the street leaving Mike lying in the road bleeding.
Susan is then seen calling Mikes cell and leaving another message wondering where he is.
Betty is seen with Caleb crawling into a moving van and driving away from Wisteria Lane.
We now hear Mary Alices voice talking about when everyone moves into Wisteria Lane and how they live their lives. To keep moving forward.
Orson then is seen showing up at Brees with what looks like the roses Mike was carrying for Susan.

Lynette loses it and raises her voice and the whole restaurant can now hear Lynette spout off on how stupid Tom can be but that does not mean that they will be hoodwinked into paying her any money. Nor will they fall prey to extortion. Everyone at the eatery is now staring at them.
Susan tells Karl that she is going to marry Mike and that Karl needs to let go. He agrees. Short but sweet scene here.
Lynette and Tom are going through their finances and Lynette says they will have to dip into their pensions and they should pay Nora off with 30 thousand dollars to avoid paying back child support for 11 years.
Bree is sitting in her Dr office at the rest home. The counsellor is asking Bree why she wont talk about her kids. Bree says she is a failure of a parent. She then throws sand at the Drs face and runs from the office. He sets off an alarm though and we hear sirens blaring as Bree flees the hospital running down the street.
Now we are over at Lynettes house and Susan is talking to Lynette and Gaby about Mike. Lynettes baby monitor goes off and it seems it has picked up Gabys frequency. We now hear Carlos and the maid having sex in a car!!!
Gaby runs home and observes the two of them in the car getting busy. She then throws all of Carlos out the window and tells him to get lost. Carlos claims that Gaby had an affair and they can work it out, he will go get a hotel in the meantime. Gaby tells Carlos to get a lease instead it will be cheaper. She then walks back into the house where the maid Charmaine asks if she can leave now too. Gaby says NO you will be staying and making dinner, and as long as Charmaine is pregnant with HER child that she will be staying right there and not leaving!! Gaby the storms from the room reminding Charmaine that she (Gaby) is still the boss around that house.
Nora has now shown up at Toms and Lynettes. Lynette keeping her sense of humor, says "As the Mother of 80% of Toms children"
and basically tells Nora that enough is enough.
Nora then goes on to say that she has bought a house (with the check that Lynette and Tom have given her) near the mall and will now live closer to Tom so he can see their daughter. She throws the waiver across the table and also announces she wont seek past support. This girl is a peice of work as she starts making faces and noises at Lynette and starts saying things like "What is wrong with you lady"? and just quirky comments and so onwhen Lynette wonders how Nora will pay the mortgage as she has no job.
Danielle and Matthew pull up in front of the house and Danielle tries to get into the safe. Matthew says hold on and goes over to his house where Betty is waiting for him in the dark. She confronts Matthew about killing Melanie. Matthew then claims that he thinks that Betty loves Caleb more and she says he needs her more. After Matthew leaves with an axe, Betty picks up the phone and calls the police.
Meanwhile, Matthew and Danielle break into the safe and steal money from Bree. They are then down in the kitchen stealing her food, when Bree arrives in and tells Danielle that Matthew killed Melanie. She tries to warn Danielle who claims her Mother is wrong and should get out of the way. When Bree blocks the door, Matthew gets out a gun and aims it at Bree, Bree calls his bluff and walks towards him and tells hi to go ahead and do it. A sniper bullet takes Matthew out though in one shot to the chest.
Danielle screams as the body is taken away. Little bit of over acting here.
Mike is crossing the street with flowers and the ring on his way to Susans. But Orson the dentist is waiting in his car and speeds up and hits Mike as he is crossing the street leaving Mike lying in the road bleeding.
Susan is then seen calling Mikes cell and leaving another message wondering where he is.
Betty is seen with Caleb crawling into a moving van and driving away from Wisteria Lane.
We now hear Mary Alices voice talking about when everyone moves into Wisteria Lane and how they live their lives. To keep moving forward.
Orson then is seen showing up at Brees with what looks like the roses Mike was carrying for Susan.
Show ends.
As a PS, I wonder how Nicolette Sheridan felt about being left out of the season finale???
