Ok, let me try recapping - (long, but I think I got everything!!)
Lynette and Tom:
Lynette finally finds a mom with 2 boys that are about as crazy as Lynette's twins, so they make playdates together (good for Lynette, she can relax on some weekends when the boys are at the other house). But then on one weekend, the other boys are over at Lynette's and Tom and they see them watching a "home movie". It's the other boy's parents in their bedroom! Lynette jumps in front of the TV before they can "see" what's going on. Lynette mentions it to the mom when she picks up the boys. But only as an FYI, not as a big concern. But the Mom is so mortified, she cancels the rest of their playdates. Lynette and Tom go over to their house to talk to them because they don't want to lose the playdates (and the free time!) and explain they have no problem with what they do, they're open minded. Until the other couple opens up and show them their "filming room". Apparently, they do this semi-professionally and tell Lynette and Tom if they ever want to film themselves they're welcome to. Then they shoe Lynette and Tom leaving the house saying "No way are we having any more playdates with them!" (or something like that)
Susan:
She tried to talk to Mike. He no longer wants anything to do with her, not even be friends. Meanwhile, Karl and Edie break up because she's discovered that Karl keeps a picture of Susan under their mattress. Karl comes over to Susan's. They talk. They end up sleeping together. In the morning, Julie finds them in bed. She's mad. Susan says she never shoulda slept with him. But it was still great. Karl says "now what?" Susan says "there's nothing to talk about" He seems to want her back. She's not interested. He goes back to Edie. Edie comes over the next day and "thanks" Susan for whatever it was that she did that made Karl go back.(she actually seemed sincere and happy -in her own Edie-style). She gave Susan the picture that Karl had been keeping under the mattress, saying that Karl's "chosen" who he wants to be with (Edie). Susan's like 'whatever'. She was by the way watering the lawn. It almost looked like the was going to squirt Edie! I was surprised Susan didn't tell Edie that her and Karl slept together. Later on, they show Karl hiding another picture of Susan in a book.
Bree and George:
George bought a house and brought Bree over to see it. His mom and her friend were in the kitchen waiting with champagne to celebrate when George "pops" the question. He asks her to marry him, she says "I thought we were going to a yard sale". Then she sees George's mom in the background and doesn't have the heart to say "No" to him because she wanted to be "polite" (as she later tells her therapist!)
Later on, they're over at George's house, supposedly just to meet a "few relatives", well, it's like cousin Bob and uncle Billy and tons of people, and Bree freaks - especially when George's mom mentions having children. Bree walks out of the house and she tells George maybe getting married is not such a good idea, things are moving too quickly, he should have known that she doesn't want to have children, etc..She says that "people", are thinking she's moving too fast too. George says "Who" and she says her therapist. So, George tells her, "We can be engaged and not get married right away". So she says ok, but still leaves the gathering at George's house. George gets that "look" in his eye. The next day, you see the therapist jogging and a biker ride by him. Biker is George. He punches the therpist, knocks his head on the concrete bridge and throws him over. Yeah. George. Creepo.
The Applewhites:
She offers Caleb ice cream if he talks about the "incident" in Chicago. She tells him no one deserves to die like that girl Melanie did. He said she did. She took back the ice cream. Meanwhile, they show him working at his chains. Later on they both come down to see that he has escaped.
Gabrielle:
Hanging out with the gals, Bree comes across a sonogram pic. Gabrielle shrugs is off as no biggie.
Meanwhile, she's prepping for a gathering with her old modeling friends and goes to buy a dress for the occasion. Designer at the store is telling her she's no longer a size 00 and maybe should go up a size. She refuses. By the way, you can actually see a small bump on her belly, and she does say she's 3 months pregnant. Anyway, her trying to get into the dress is a riot. First she has the landscapers try to help, then Bree fixes the dress for her. When her snobbish model friends arrived, the immediately noticed she was pregnant (but seemed happy for her, though maybe it was fake). Anyway, they don't show much of her hanging out with them, but after the party, she goes to Bree's to talk (and get help out of her tight dress), and she tells Bree that she's changed so much and she's no longer like her model friend (which Gabby seems to see as a good thing - nice touchy feely moment). Gabby goes back to her place, Bree says she'll be right over to help her out of the dress. Gabby notices at her house the freezer's open. Finds a bowl of melted ice cream, then looks up and sees Caleb. She screams, runs from him, falls down the stairs. He walks by her, but doesn't harm her and he leaves the house. Later she's going in an ambulance. She whispers something to Bree. Bree says "wait, she forgot something". She comes back with sonogram picture. Gabby holds it and tears are coming down.
How funny! and, I must admit, I was sad for Gabby, but typical soap stuff.....we all knew she wouldn't become a "mom"...oh well...be interesting to see if she or Carlos become "permantly fixed" or she might decide to try to get pregnant again??

It doesn't seem like the show wants too many major storylines going at once..... last week focused on Bree/George, this week it was Gabs (a little Susan)..... anyone else get that impression?
