THEY SAID "HE"!! The person in the basement is a "he"

I am thinking father/husband more now. I wonder what he did? Abusive? Cheater?

aw, i KNEW that they were going to try to pin rex's death on bree....that does not make me happy. not surprised that the guy in the basement is the abusive father/husband (hopefully that's not it, and there will be another twist that we don't see coming!) the surprises are my favorite part of this show so i was a little disappointed with the predictability of tonight's episode  have to say...i love lynette, and her rat scheme cracked me up! :rotfl:

Darn it! My fiance was switching to watch football on the commercials and we flipped back late and I missed what happened with the new woman in the doctor office. All I saw was him giving her a perscription. Did she tell what the husband did? Are we still thinking it's him in the basement?

I absolutely love this show. I know there are Desperate Housewives shirts, etc. items out there, but does anyone know of any other items offered? I'm looking for maybe a static cling sticker/decal or magnet for my car. :teeth: Hmmm...I'd love a Disney sticker or decal too!

Don't know if she was making up the story or not - but basically told the MD a sob story that her husband was abusive and kicked her son to death sometime in the past. Now the problem was that she couldn't sleep, so he gave her a prescription. He made a comment that he hoped proper retributions were taken and she said in a devilsh way yes. Fast forward to seeing her crush the pills and put them in a soup for the male in the basement.
My guess would be yes it's the husband in the basement, but we still don't know for sure or why the person is in the basement

So when she said he kicked her son to 'death' are we to assume that at one time there was another son?

I agree with you. I think her husband is in the basement, but I'm not so sure if her story to the MD is true/all true. She gave the person in the basement the sleeping pills I assume to keep him quiet since neighbors are starting to get a little suspicious.

it would not surprise me if her story is true. earlier, she says that being locked in the basement is his punishment (for kicking the son to death) and that having to listen to him rattle the chains is her punishment (for not saving her son).

i agree that this is the story...BUT, it's TOO easy! DHousewives wouldn't make it THAT easy! So, I'll be waiting for the twist...altho, the previews showed "he" escapes from the basement next week--at least, that's what we're led to believe. And, could somebody think back to the beginning of the show...what was the term Susan used to describe Edie?? Peroxide what? bimbo? I thought the comment was funny at the time, but I can't remember the exact words.

i hope i am wrong - surprises are much more fun!!! :goodvibes

Why is Rex's mom still there? :confused3 There's no reason for her to be there in "reality". I don't like that they're keeping her around for convenience of the Bree "killing" Rex story.
