Tonights episode opens with Susan watching the news, we see Lynette setting her home alarm system,Gabby packing pepper spray in her purse,and Bree checking to see that her gun is all tucked in for the night in her drawer.
Mike and his fellow inmates watching Erica getting smooched on All My Children
(of course they can only watch ABC soaps!) Mike is a multi tasker though as he is seen filing down his toothbrush handle into a nice sharp point.
Which comes in handy a short time ;ater when Mike gets attacked in the excercise yard. Paul Young proves to be a friend though as he comes to Mikes aid and punches out mikes attacker. Or does he? as we then see Paul hand a $20 dollar bill to the inmate that first decked Mike out in the yard.
Gabby comes home from a night of partying with friends to find a manequin in her foyer with a fancy dress on it. This spooks her out so with the "You've got a friend in me" music playing here she logically runs on over to Carlos for help. He answers the door to Gabby informing him that he will be spending the night at her house tonight.
Next thing ya know, we see Carlos on the sofa at Gabbys murmuring on how he hates his life
Gabby tosses him a pillow and tells him that he is not sleeping in her bed that he is just there to protect her, after some light jabs at each other, she turns and leaves the room.
Lynette is waiting up for Tom to return home from his new restaurant that is about to open. She wants to see the restaurant, but Tom doesn't want her to until it is all done. In fact he has now banned her from the opening!
Julie and Austin are weighing their options on birth control in Susans kitchen. Susan can't help but overhear and in doing so, literally falls down the stairs. Oops! Susan boots Austin on out the door and starts chewing on Julie about the perils of sex.
Meanwhile, we see Bree starting to unload groceries from her car trunk. Bree spots Alma and Edie emerging from the Applewhite house and goes over to inquire what they are doing. When Alma tells Bree that she loves the house, Bree starts in about the houses' past. Doesn't work though as Alma has now fallen in love with the house and loves the neighborhood.
Later, back in her kitchen, Bree wants Orson to go over and tell Alma to get lost. As Bree proceeds to beat the daylight out of her pie dough, Orson takes Brees hand and says
"Darling,I swear to you that I will get Alma out of that house. I don't care if I have to live up to my reputation and strangle her."
To which Bree tells him that he is such a good husband!
Austin and Julie are now over at Edies house, trying to get Edie to help them get birth control. Edie at first objects, worried that Susan would get mad if she ever found out. Eventually, she relents though as Austin says they will have sex no matter what.
Carlos wants another pillow. Tomorrow he will be going back to his own house. Gabby is worried and wants him to protect her. She cant be too worried though as she is modeling the $6000 dress that the manequin had on.
Later, we see a tresspasser on the porch leaving yet another gift for Gabby. Carlos grabs the guy and brings him inside where the culprit puts Gabby in touch with her admirer on the phone. The admirer is paying heavy compliments to Gabby and Gabby decides they should meet for lunch.
Back at the prison, Mike is talking to Paul and asking him if there is ever anything he can do for him........
After Paul walks away a guard tells Mike not to be friends with Paul as he witnessed Paul paying them off.
Susan is telling Gabby that she is sure that Julie is not having sex. The next thing we see is the two of them rummaging through Julies room looking for her diary. They eventually come across birth control pills hidden in a VCR.
Orson goes over to Alma's new digs and wants to know why she has moved there. Alma tells Orson that she still loves him and although Orson does not love her, she is willing to hold out hope as she reminds him that she knows that he ran over Mike and that she also knows about Monique. She will keep his secrets though...... Bree sees Alma kiss Orsons cheek as Bree is watching from across the street.
When Orson returns home, Bree demands to know just why Alma was kissing him. Orson tells Bree taht they will have to make the best of Alma living just across the way from them.
When Lynette sees Tom leave his new restaurant, she sneaks a peek only to find Andrew inside. Andrew informs Lynette that the liquor license hasn't been approved and that they are essentially screwed without a bar license and not being able to sell drinks. Lynette is now worried that they will lose their shirts in this deal.
Susan is now on the horn with the Dr that prescribed birth control to her daughter without her knowledge and figures out that Edie had pretended to be Julies Mother in obtaining the offending prescription.
Susan now goes over to let Edie have it!!
"She is just a **** job away from being you" Susan yells at Edie
When they walk into Edies, we see Austin making out with Danielle on the couch! oops...
Gabby is now waiting in a restaurant for her admirer when a long haired Zach Young walks in. Gabby tells him he looks great in a suit but that she is waiting for someone and can't talk. Zach sits down and tells her that he is who she is waiting for.
When Zach pulls out a wad of cash, Gabby is curious. Zach informs her that he was the sole heir to his Grandfathers fortune.
Lynette is outside gabbing with the neighbor and complaining about Tom.
Back to Zach and Gabby. Zach is bragging about all his real estate holdings. Seems he owns houses in Switzerland, the Hamptons and elsewhere. He panics when he spills chocolate on his shirt and gets upset when Gabby tells Zach that he is too young for her. When Zach kisses Gabby she smacks him and storms off.
Lynette is now seen canvassing the neighborhood looking for signatures so that Tom can get his liquor liscense. Seems there are a few holdouts. Harry is not budging though and Lynette is appealing to him as she leans over to him with a low cut shirt on. Harry ends up signing though when Lynette decides to flash old Harry her "goods" under the low cut sweatshirt!!
Alma is talking to her bird when Bree pays a visit. Bree goes on to tell Alma that Orson doesn't want her there, Alma tells Bree that Orson just offered to help her unpack. Alma then hands a drink to Bree and leaves to talk to a mover. The bird scares Bree and she drops the glass breaking it. Bree steps into the pantry to get paper towels. The floor boards shift to reveal a picture of Orson and Alma and a black fabric pouch containing old teeth
Alma comes back so Bree hurries out of the pantry.
Alma tells Bree that she is harmless and not to worry that she is living across the street.
Carlos asks Gabby about her date. Gabby lies and tells Carlos that he wasnt her type. Carlos lets on that he saw the date was Zach to which Gabby gets mad And kicks him off the porch.
She tells Carlos that is getting an alarm so he wont have to keep watching her. Carlos tells Gabby that he will be there anyways. (these 2 need to end up together and stop fighting it)
Tom comes home happy that he got the liquor license today. He knows that Lynette saved the day by getting the waiver signed. Seems tehre are other problems though and Lynette tells him that he needs her help and they are a team. He relents.
Susan is waiting for Julie on the porch. Julie walks up and Susan wants Julie to have a talk about sex. Susan ends up telling Julie about Austin on the couch today.
Next week Bree catches Orson in bed with Alma!!
