Hoping that some details for CP packages comes out sooner rather than later. I'd at least like to know the restaurants to choose from this year.

I've got 15 days until I can book our ADRs!

Only 3 weeks until we can make ADRs, so time to get the planning into high gear. Anyone have idea/opinion about the Wild Africa Trek at AK? Thinking about a Tusker House Buffet Breakfast (early) then the Trek at 11:00 am on Christmas Day. Not a traditional Christmas celebration but I am sure it will be memorable. How far in advance can wild africa trek be booked? Do you pay a deposit or full amount at booking? Is it next to impossible to get the day/time you want like 12/25 at 11:00 am? Hope they do the trek on Christmas Day.
What if it rains is the trek canceled? Money refunded or are you guaranteed rescheduled during your stay?
Anyone have good info on whether the plan is to have CP booking on line?
Also, any info on if/when the Fantasmic on-line booking 180 days in advance problems might be resolved?

Anyone else out there planning on a trip this December? DH and I are going for our 2nd anniversary, hopefully for 10 days (depending on how the fall class schedule goes) with a day trip to Universal to see the WWoHP. We got spoiled last year with 3 trips in 6 months, now the waiting till December is going to drive me up the wall

We bought our plane tickets on Sunday and made ADRs this morning!

It's the standard Wishes and MSEP on non-MVMCP nights (unless they create a special 40th anniversary night parade or fireworks show between now and then). After the final MVMCP they run the Christmas party parade during the afternoon.

I was told last year when I was calling to book the pirates fireworks cruise that the tours are normally not run on Christmas day. I was asking about a tour at the MK so not sure if she meant just MK tours or all tours. I would call now and just ask about it and see if they know already or atleast ask about the weather policy. I know when DH and I did the Morning Safari tour for CL guests in March they said that if it rained we would just get our money back. It ended up raining but they had it anyway.

We will be there Nov. 28th until December 3 at the Beach Club with the bounceback rate. They only had water view rooms left. Its a little more than we wanted to pay.

I have only made one ADR so far for LeCellier lunch. The only other thing I know I def. need to get on is Grand Floridian Cafe lunch. Lat year it was amazing the people who looked at the gingerbread house and tree and then tried to walk up. Walk up waits were over 1 hour. Thank heavens we had an adr.

For the CP package we will probably do chefs de france or Le Cellier. If those are booked my 3rd choice is Tutto. I guess I will just book some dinners and wait till the narrarators come out and then switch everything around.

We dont plan on doing MVMCP. Dh didnt enjoy it last time. Way too crowded.

Last year this thread had many new posts every day with lots of discussion, questions, ideas beyond just dates/hotels for a stay. Is it just too early for real discussion to start, or maybe, not so many people are planning a Dec 2011 trip (ha, I wish)?????

I was told by a CM on on-line chat that AK Wild Africa Trek could be booked 180 days in advance now and that ADRs would be considered conflicting and not allowed if within 60 minutes of each other.

Busy planning last minute June trip, heading to WL for 8 nights with DD in 2 weeks, thanks to a PIN code email work on plans for the Decmber trip mostly complete, but will get back on them after this trip!

I've been wondering the same thing myself. I've been following the OFFICIAL JUNE 2011 thread for months now and it was really hopping (and still is). I'm following two threads for December 2011 and neither one is much beyond basic planning posts (although the other one does have a master list of who is staying where and when). I was wondering if things will get busier here when there is less end-of-the-school-year busy-ness or if people just aren't ready to be thinking about year-end travel.

Last Dec they had to make another thread because we went over the posts. But then you had some people who were angry about us chatting.

I know for me I am going nuts with end of school year stuff and baseball/softball. I haven't even made my definate ADR plan and I have to make them in a 2 weeks. SOOOO not ready.

I made (most) our ADRs yesterday. The website started giving me a "server error" message with 3 ADRs to go....luckily our fab travel agent is offering to help since I can't seem to get the website to work. I think the only ADR we'll still have to wait on is Hoop-De-Doo since Disney can't seem to get ADRs for it to cooperate for anyone.
