My fiance says the same thing about pushing me. However, I refuse to get an electric
scooter because my refluxes are pretty bad and I don't want to run people over (literally). People already talk to much crap about people in wheelchairs I'm not going to have someone shoot me dirty looks. I just told him we'd take breaks every now and again so I don't wear him out, lol.
On our last trip to WDW I injured my foot (severe Plantar Fasciitis). I ended up in a wheelchair. My spouse got tired of pushing me around and we opted for a scooter buggy. Being a Pooh sized person, I'm sure I got some looks but I was dealing with some major pain so I really didn't care what others thought! Like you, my reflexes weren't the greatest and I kept hitting walls, poles and my DH. I tried not to run into other people! I also got tired of being butt level with everyone!

I preferred to finish out my trip on crutches. Something I would NOT want to repeat!
This is my biggest concern this trip. I am taking it slow, with LOTS of breaks in between. We have a scheduled resort break after lunch each day. It sucks to be ill or in pain/ recovering while at WDW!

I know I will miss out on lots of stuff, but I'll just add them on my to do list for our next trip. It gives me a reason to plan future trips!!!
On a side note, I just found out that my DF who is going to meet us there just got out of a week long stay at the hospital for having a blood clot.

I told him that he has 7 weeks to recover. If you are going to get sick, do it now and get it out of the way!

Nobody is allowed to get sick 1 week prior to or during our trip!
So, everybody PLEASE be safe, stay healthy and lets all arrive happy and in one piece!
