I have hit double digits!! I am soooo excited! 99 days!!

Today is my DD day to!! My ticker is still not updated for the day I added, but I know today is Double digits!

I know it is hard, my DD is a soph. in college, and she had a rough first yr. I am on Facebook with her and she get mad at me posting I love you on her wall and mentioning her in my status. So I backed off, we made a pact that she would call every Thursday( a night we usually were home). Sometimes she would text or call just to talk. She is only and hour and a half away, so she could come home about any time she needed to. This yr. she is more confident and I am sad she doesn't need me as much. You will survive, just try not to dwell on what she is doing every waking minute, if she needs something, she will call. Hope that helps

Thank you for your great advice, I'm glad your DD is having a better year. I'm hoping my DD will be fine, she says she's exhausted with her classes and also soccer practice, so of course worry! That's a great idea about picking a specific time to call/text. I also leave her messages on FB and don't want to get too gushy on there either! So back to planning for our Xmas trip to Disney (to which she is not coming because she's spending Christmas with her father) and waiting for her first chance to come home! Thanks again!!!!

Oh, I'm glad that Edward James Olmos is speaking when we're there! We're not doing the dinner package, but we'll try to catch one of the shows. Thanks for posting the new additions!

When did you want to go? I just checked several dates in Dec. and they still had tickets. How did you find out they were sold out? Now I'm worried about getting ours. I'm buying them as soon as I get home!!!

Hi All -
I just joined the DISBoard and this is my first posting (scary!).

Our family [DH, me, DS (4) and DD (2)] will be heading to WDW on Sunday 11/28. We will be celebrating our DD's 3rd birthday. We took our DS last year for 2 days right before his 3rd birthday, so this will be his sister's 1st trip.

We're going to check in to All Star Movies, then tour hotels and Downtown Disney on the 28th. We'll also decorate our room for Christmas (such cool ideas from y'all). On Monday-Friday (11/29-12/3), we'll be doing the parks (MK/AK/Epcot/HS/MK). Then we'll head home early Saturday (12/4) for Christmas programs at church Sunday...we'll be whooped, I'm sure, but we'll have such awesome memories to share at Christmas.

Our DS was a bit nervous last year (dark/noise fears), but is totally acting the big brother part now in telling his sister how cool WDW is. His Dad & I agree and LOVE EVERYTHING about Disney. 80 days and countin, baby!

Welcome! We'll be at WDW the same time and have the same plans for arrival and departure.

If you had to chose between MVMCP or CP (with a Louisiana boy reading, Trace Adkins) which would you choose?

Today is 100 days until our Christmas trip and Disney released Edward James Olmos as the narrator for 12/24 when we have LeCellier CPP reservations. Now all the details are finalized for our annual WDW holiday w/o anyone except the two of us!

Seems that outdoor seating for dinner at La Hacienda San Angel is counterservice only and all TS reservations will be indoors. We were hoping for a 2nd place like Rose and Crown to view Illuminations?

Now just have to wait 100 days! We always buy two or three pages of window clings (disney of course) to decorate our room window for the holidays and just leave them when we depart!

I looked on budget with other swaps, but didn't see anything. We are staying at FQ dec 19-24 and wondered if there were any tree swaps?

This is our first December trip, so I can't really answer... We plan to go because we LOVE Christmas and MK. We figure we'll get a few extra hours in the MK - along with some extra parties, cookies, hot chocolate, the Christmas Parade, and snow on Main Street. Since we will probably never get to go in Dec. again, we just want to go to the party.

Having never been to either, I can only guess - but I think I'd pick the CP. During the end of your trip you'll get to see the MK Christmas Parade, but the CP may be very crowded at that time. If you do the package you can guarantee that you will see both.

Odd I swear I looked before... perhaps they just were not on sale yet
