I remember reading somewhere about reserved seating for Illuminations when you purchase the CP package....now I can't find it. Does anyone know anything about this?

Sure, you are guaranteed a place to stand somewhere within EPCOT When you book a CP Package.

I don't see it online anywhere at first glance, but from what I have read, you get reserved standing area at the front of the lagoon near the future world side- right between those two shops- basically directly opposite across the lagoon from the theatre. If you are seeing the last show, then of course you will barely make it over there in time. Not sure if it is roped off or what? Or if they check your ticket you used for the CP or not. As you know, there is no seating for Illuminations, unless you find a good bench or seat at R&C or Mexico without someone blocking you! so it is all standing.

we just plan to watch it on another night (our first night)- hopefully booking Hacienda to watch it from the patio there. That way we won't have to worry about catching it that night we do the CP.

Cool! I just called Disney and aged my child a year. For $35 I upgraded him to an "adult". Now he can eat whatever he wants. I couldn't believe it was only $35 for 8 nights. Yay for free dining!!!

I haven't seen anything about that, but in 2006 when we did the CP, we saw the 8:15pm show and was able to get a great spot at the railing right next to the theatre. We were near the fron of the theatre, so everyone else had cleared out before we left and that left some prime viewing for those that stayed around for Illuminations.

No, it wasn't luggage tags .I got a big thick envelope that says "Disney Destinations" on it.

I go to open it up and start reading and TA-DA! It was our personalized maps.

Yes, we get pre-arranged fireworks viewing. As a pp mentioned, when walking over from Future World, keep walking straight across the bridge and it will be directly in front of you at the lagoon. I've read the location may have been different for others, but that's generally been the spot.

I did these a couple yrs ago and they are great to send to the girls!

DS(9) 1st trip to WDW will be staying at the POP from 12/6-12/9. I think I am more excited than anyone else

That's a great deal! We upgraded to Deluxe for our 4 nights, so I doubt we would do that well, but I might check into this for my oldest. Thanks for the idea!

My DS is SO HAPPY! Now he can have the moose at Le Cellier and the Kona Cone. Since he was planning to order one anyway, I think the $35 was a wise investment.
