**Official December 2010 Thread!!**

So, I've been debating the last few days about whether to get tickets to the CP. Well, I finally decided not to because we aren't going to Epcot til after Christmas and it well just in my head didn't make sense to go to a Christmas event after the fact.

Soooooo, anyway I've been reading all this hype about Le Cellier Steakhouse on the board and figured "You know what we'll be at Epcot on the 27th of Dec let's see if they have a reservation just for giggles". Now mind you I honestly didn't expect for this to happen. So I plugged in a time that I thought would be reasonable (4pm) and BAM! A time for 4:45 popped up. I just reserved it and now I'm sitting here like "Wow, I can't believe that actually worked."

wow that is awesome getting LC for that date and at this point! congrats!! always nice getting little surprises, right?

i gotta remember to set my alarm for 6am! (or right before!)- off to bed early we go tonight

I chatted with a CM online and he said the narrator list is still not available! He said we can book, but without narrator information. What??

Tried calling, but not getting through either.....

Just to update, she answered after 10 mins on hold, then the computer was a bit slow pulling up avalibility on her end, but now I have my reservation confirm for Dec 20th at nine dragons, 5:45 dinner, 8:15 show!

My DH wanted to go to Coral Reef for out anniversary dinner, but there were no openings UNTIL yesterday. I snagged a ressie at 7:35 PM! December is too far away!!!!

Finally got through after about 35-40 minutes hold time!

We booked the first show for Steven Curtis Chapman on Sunday, 12/12. We chose Biergarten as our restaurant.

The narrator list is unchanged, as the missing dates are still missing (somewhat unbelievable that they can't find talent to book the CP!). Also, from the prices the CM was reading me, it appears the pricing remained the same from last year, and it's also still two dining credits if you don't want to pay OOP.

I still wasn't sure about booking, but the CM said they were going fast and she initially didn't think any lunch shows were still available when I asked. You can cancel up until 48 hours in advance and they don't charge your card until then, so I couldn't pass it up. I figured it was better to secure it now and possibly cancel later. My DH told me to book it because he knows I've been wanting to go, but I've been trying to reign in our spending!

OK, you can all thank me now. We're going from Dec. 12-18, and have no desire or intention of doing the CP package. So that's one more person you won't have to fight with to snag an ADR!

Dialed for 50 mins, on hold for 45 mins but got our Biergarten ressie on 12/10 for CP with Whoopi G candlelight at 6:45... yeah!!!

The official "what do we want to do in each park" planning can begin bec. the 'hard stuff' is done...

Birthday week, here we come!

I finally got it! Was able to get LeCellier on 12/3 at 11:55. It only took about 15 minutes of switching between two dates online. Couldn't even get through on the phone. I actually scored two ressies but am cancelling one.

Got my CP package- thanks to another DISer!!!

I called right before 7am and got the not open yet message (like to make sure i am calling the right #!lol). Then hit redial on landline and cell for an hour and 30 minutes almost with continued busy tone or a ring and then a male 'all circuits are busy' or a female 'due to challenges beyond our control, we cannot place your call'..........so FRUSTRATING!!! of course, i was posting on the CP package thread and a dis friend saw it and booked mine for me while she was on the line!!! awesome. This is why I love the dis!

I now have Le Cellier at 5:10pm on 12/8 for the 8:15pm Jodi Benson show! Exactly what we wanted and can't wait!

I do have two other LC ressies for 12/8, I've offered them up to one person first, but if she doesn't want them- i will have two dinner ressies available if someone wants to message me or find me on FB- Michelle Easler Peters.
