I inquired again the other day and they told me the missing dates have not yet been announced. I assume they will wait until the 26th, but it won't stop me from asking anyway!

Just contacted Disney (again) about when doors open for MVMCP. CM said they will "now open at 7pm." I've recently been told that doors will still open at 4pm, so I'm going to keep asking as we get closer!

By the way, they are staying mum on the missing narrators for CP.

Just wanted to post that I just put up a Pre-Trip report. I will warn anyone thinking of reading it that this is the first one I have ever written so it may not be really good. If anyone reads it and has any tips on how to improve, especially for when I write the trip report, I would appreciate it. Thanks.

Well, I just noticed our plans are a bit out-of-date on the master list for Dec. '10 trips. We're now going Dec. 2-12, and staying at YC

Hi guys! I need some major pixie dust to be sprinkled in DH's direction!!! He has to use up vacation days and even though we were just there in July, I really would like to be using them up at WDW! We got a great rate at POFQ 12/21-12/27 but the HUGE monkey wrench is in airfare. DH is having a heart attack because airfare from Burlington, Vermont is $500 each! He tends to live in the past when we could get a flight for $168 (those days are LONG gone, honey) and I don't think he'll go for it if that's how much it's going to be. So, I'm going to be crossing my fingers and checking everyday to see if anything changes, but any pixie dust sprinkled in this direction sure would help!!!!! I'd love to put a new ticker on my sig!

Thanks everyone for the feedback. Im still torn. It is quite expensive on top of the DDP, park hoppers, a day at HP, etc.

I think in the end we will end up doing it because my cousins want to.

Are you going to be there after the last party? On the 20th they start the Holiday Wishes, the Christmas Parade and the shows daily. Someone said that it does not snow on Main street only on Christmas Eve. I'm not sure since we are always there after the parade but we've only stayed for the fireworks on Christmas Eve.

For us since we can see all the stuff for free afterwards its not really worth it for free cookies and hot cocoa. Instead I booked an extra TS meal for the kids and Wishes Dessert party on Christmas eve. But its definatly a personal decission. Some love it, some say its a one time thing you have to do and others think its a waste of $$$ and not as good as the Halloween one.

We would be going to MVMCP on Friday December 3rd.

That depends. Do you want to see a magical snow fall on Main Street? That's one of the big reasons I am going.

LoL. I hate snow! bahahaha! Its probably more magical in WDW than it is in Salt Lake City and Connecticut!

It depends. If you won't be back for another holiday season soon, then I would recommend it. We love the parade and the free hot cocoa and cookies! It's one of those things that everyone should do at least once!

That is the question. I am still trying to decide. My kiddos are 3 and 4. I am not sure its worth the extra money as I think they will zonk out soon after the party starts. UGH! I wish this was an easier decision.

I feel the same.. is it worth the $$

Folks I know in the Burlington area will often drive to Albany for flights. Or how about spending a day in Boston and flying out of Logan?

Wow those flight prices are crazy! Guess we're lucky in Indy where flights to Orlando roundtrip are $150.

Can you change your dates a little? Keep an eye on the flights and check other airports. We drive since even if airfare is $200 per person, which will never happen since we go close during Chrismtas, times that by 5 and add all teh fees its insane. I will keep my fingers and toes crossed for you. I just checked our dates which are similar to yours and it has dropped a lot since I first looked. I believe it went down over $100 pp so there is hope!

Thanks!! I've looked at several different combinations - my problem is I teach until the 21st and need to go back on the 3rd. I looked into leaving on the 26th and it seems to be the same. I'd love to drive down, but DH is like, no way, that's like a 24 hour trip. I'm still optimistic and will keep trying to be creative - DH is like, we were just there in July for 12 days, why do you want to go back again anyway? Haha, he's not a dismaniac like me!
