I am jelous of everyone's long list of ADRs. Since we are going for such a short time I only have:

December 11th:
- Mama Melose @ 2:30

December 12ththis is our MVMCP night)
-Ohana @ 10:30 am
-LTT @ 5:30

December 13th:
-Lecellier @ 5pm

But DH was excited to get Lecellier. I was not that impressed with it on our trip in April, but we were soaking wet and freezing from a rainstorm so DH wants to give it one more try before they change it to a 2TS on the dining plan.

I wanna join in, I booked Dec 23-26 at the Dolphin, got a great SPG deal and all the ressies I wanted. This will be our 2nd time during Christmas week and our 5th December trip in as many years.

JMO. We did the CP with Coral Reef in 2007 and we still had to wait on an incredibly long line to get in. Then the people without dinner reservations went in next. There is no way we are using 2 table for this in Dec of this year. So we are going to hang out and walk in if there is availability. Which we are confident there will be. If not we will hang out and listen like we did for Chubby Checker in 2009. As for the MVMCP, it used to be great back in the day. Free pin, great food, shorter lines because the amount allowed in was limited. When we went in 2007 the lines were horrible and it was packed. We arent going to pay for that this year either. Wow I sound like a party pooper sorry. Just sharing my opinion.

wow touringplans.com.. very interesting! never heard of it! Is the month of december typically low? I know everytime we went in January it was dead.. so dead we wouldnt have to get off some rides and they would let us go again.. like splash mountain!

Members of paid sites aren't supposed to share that information... I believe anyone can get the crowd calendar for a month from the current day without being a member. so you would be able to check in November.

From personal experience of going the first week in Dec, the crowds were very minimal

Good morning December Dis Trip Peeps. We went to Hershey Park yesterday for the day. The weather was perfect and crowds were low so we really only waited in line for one ride. We had a really fun day.

I tried using my Ride Hopper App...totally useless for Hershey! It's dependent on user submissions and apparently no one else at Hershey cared!

One thing I found interesting in observing our family while we were there was that we were DONE by about 5:00pm. We went on just the few rides we really wanted to, and DH saw some shows (his favorite activity), we ate some snacks and looked in the shops, but were completely done and ready to leave by 5:00pm. As we were walking to the parking lot I said to the kids, "If we were at Disney, we'd be here til they kicked us out!" They agreed and then we started talking about why we have so much more energy for Disney. I think it's because it's so much more than rides. They don't even know about our December trip yet. Thank goodness we are going to DL in July because every time I slip up and say something about Disney, they think I mean DL. WHEW!

They say it takes 7 days for each hour that you are under anesthesia for your body to recover from that "post surgery haze." I hope you are both better soon!

whats the crowd level for Dec 7th-14th?

it is a great time to go, although December is busier than it was say 5-10 years ago. But we were there Dec 10-20th last year (see my trip report in my sig) and had a great time. We never waited more than 20 minutes for anything in terms of attractions. Weather was great (rained once), holiday decor in full effect!

January is even better- much slower than December. December is becoming more popular and is always popular with the DVC crowd (low points to rent in Dec). December won't be like January, it is picking up more each year with all the discounts they offer. But i still enjoy it, even with slightly bigger crowds than there used to be, it is still pretty low crowds compared to summer for me. Plus the weather is so much better. with proper planning, fast pass, going early, you won't wait more than 20 minutes for anything. if you are the sleeping in type, that won't work though- gotta be the early bird to avoid the lines! lol

don't worry about it- i've been in 'trouble' before here (int he last 10 years i've been posting here!) and they are really sweet about it. they can tell when you do something with bad intent and you didn't. usually a moderator will send you a warning by PM to remove the info and that's that. they won't make you stand in the corner or anything! you're all good.

glad to hear you had a good day at hershey, definitely interesting to hear the differences. We start to hold our other entertainment experiences to the same standard and nothing seems to live up to disney! i am disgusted by the gum on the trees at our local six flags in dallas for example. it's just no disney!
