Here is a link to a list of common acronyms used on the DISBoards. Very helpful. I was confused about CP at first because I kept thinking Crystal Palace.

Acronym List

So does anyone know if this mousetacular stuff/site is legit? has anyone done business with them before? looks like some cool events- sounds like maybe they just purchased 'group space'/group event time and are selling off tickets for it?

My best friend uses them (Judi is her TA) and loves them! I'm using them for the first time - so excited. They seem to be very popular on the Passporter site.

The events our put on by a Travel Agency. We used them our last trip and again for this December! They are great

thank you so much! where are you in TX? I am right outside of Dallas, in Plano!

thank you both for the info- never heard of them and like to get some references on folks like that before i consider using them. we typically book with Dreams Unlimited (that run this site), but now that we are DVC, we use member services of course! lol these events sound fun, i might have to consider the illuminations one.

I think I've finally narrowed down my ADRs for our trip! There are still a couple that I'm not too sure of but I haven't made any changes in about a week. Yay me!

We  food and I cook almost every day at home so when we go to Disney World I take the opportunity to try as many different things as I can. And we don't much like counter service (except Sunshine Seasons, Tangierine Cafe and Yorkshire County Fish Shop)!

Looks like we have the same travel days. I am getting down there around 9 am on the 11th, so I will be heading out to HS, and seeing Fantasmic the first night. We leave at 7:30 pm, so I get to enjoy most of a day at Disney before going home.

You're lucky! We leave later on the 11th and early on the 18th - but hmm.. I could always change my flight times =) ::think think:: IDK what to do. Should I get to WDW earlier on arrival and leave later on departure? Any suggestions? :cool1:

So excited we just booked a trip 12/12/-12/18! Went for Halloween last year and got to see them start putting up the xmas decor before we left and was SOOO tempted to see all the holiday decorations I've been trying to talk my hubby into it for months! Finally did!

Have almost all our ADRs made now -- but today tried to call to book the dinner package for the Candlelight Processional at Epcot. Apparently those reservations aren't open yet? She said they would open them sometime in July -- but didn't know exactly when? Anyone have any ideas on timeframe??

Also - I know the 'package' allows us to have priority seating at the show -- but I'm hoping to get the 8:15 show and then stay for Illuminations afterward. Does the package include letting you stay to see the fireworks? Can you see them from that location? We've actually never seen Illuminations before (kids loved Wishes last October)... so I'm wondering what the best way to view them will be after the Candlelight show.

Sorry for rambling! Thanks in advance!!
:goodvibes

thanks for all your work! love seeing who all is going to be there at the same time!! :thumbsup2

no problem! I really like to see all the ADRs coming together.. it's interesting to see all the different restaurants we all choose!

WOW Disneybarbie that is an amazing ADR list!

We have slightly changed ours up!

I cancelled the cape may cafe breakfast... for monday morning
and changed it to tuesday am.

....

I have never been to coral reef how is it?? Where is everyones favorite dinner restaurant? I need one for tuesday night
feed back please.. and thanks!!!:tinker:

updated!
I've not been to Coral Reef for years.. think it was 1993, so I would've been eating from the children's menu!
But favourite restaurants... in the resorts, I'd recommend The Wave or Sanaa.. really enjoyed meals at those last year. There's sooo many to choose from! :cloud9:

Hi.. welcome to the thread!

Many people here have been told the same thing regarding Candlelight Processional... the narrators will probably be announced later in July, so then the dinner packages will become available.. we're all waiting here! :santa:

I went to CLP last year, we had a dining package at Teppan Edo at 5.30pm.. we then saw the 8.15pm show... the package also includes a private viewing area of Illuminations - we didn't know about this! ... But - the viewing area was right back the other side of the lagoon.. near the entrance to future world! so time the show had finished (9.15pm ish) we had to walk very very quickly around World Showcase to get to the roped of area... we didn't actually make it there before the fireworks started (stopping at Kringla bakery in Norway for a Baileys coffee slowed us down)!

I don't think you can stay in the American Adventure theater to watch the fireworks.. and it wouldn't give a very good view of Illuminations as the stage blocks the view of the lagoon?

Hope this helps.... happy planning!

ps - if you post your ADRs here (date, time & restaurant) I can add them to the 'master list' of all our dining reservations! :santa:

Guess I'll have to go back to reality for a while in waiting for our magical trip!! :)

We live in Princeton, TX just 30 miles north of Dallas... Since this my big present for my 50th BDay, hubby used a bunch of his miles to fly us all 1st class!! Should be the best trip ever!! And this is number 16 for me to WDW...

THen we just booked Alaska for next summer on DCL Wonder. We've been on the Magic 4 times but never the Wonder....

It can't hurt to price different flight times. Not sure where you are traveling from, but flight times from Philly have been pretty good recently. It's only costing me an extra $28 per person to fly home later instead of an earlier flight.

Hey, another person visiting when I am going. Where are you staying?

Has anyone heard anymore about narrators for CP? A CM told me on the phone that Hacienda San Angel most likely will not be a dining [ackage option-- probably will remain the San Angel Inn only.

Thanks- I was pricing out Philly flights this morning - really no big price differences - so I think I'm going to go for a later departure =)

You should edit your post and take out your ADR confirmation numbers. You don't want anyone to have those.

Your plan looks fantastic! :goodvibes

Emma is right, i doubt they let you stay in the theatre and it is not a spot to view Illuminations from. Illuminations takes place on the water in the center of the lagoon and then is supported by changing lights on the buildings of the world showcase. The theatre that the CLP is in, has the main stage on the water, so the back wall is on the wall almost and would totally block your view of the water. You will want to move out of the theatre and somewhere around world showcase to view it. As mentioned, the 'reserved' viewing area for the CLP package is all the way around the other side of the lagoon, opposite from the theatre, it is quite a walk and will be close trying to make that in time if you see the 8:15 show. the show will end probably 9-9:15, then Illuminations is at 9:30. Really you can see it okay from most spots without trees blocking the water from anywhere aroudn the world showcase. The back of future world (where the reserved viewing area is) is popular, because you get the full effect of being able to see all the lights on the world showcase buildings change. Mexico and UK and Canada are also popular spots to watch.
