we are doing some tight planning
for meals at monorail hotels and then to the MK. How often do the monorails run? About how many minutes should we plan for the Contemporary to Mk?
Grand Floridian to MK? and Polynesian to MK?

We've always gone in June, so it could be different, but this has been our experience...
You never know! We been stuck "holding" on the track for 20 minutes at a time. Our kids did a pirate cruise at the GF. They left at 9:30 am, and DH and I caught the monorail over to the Poly for breakfast. It took so long that they had switched to lunch when we got there!!!!! We decided to walk back to the GF to make sure we got there in time to pick up our kids.

So, if walking is an option (Contemp. to MK), I'd do that. Otherwise, I'd try to factor in a little extra time.

I saw it when it was in NC a few weeks ago. I LOVED IT! DS didn't go with me, and now he regrets it - thus his request for a trip to NY for his birthday (instead of a party)! We listen to the soundtrack non-stop.

All of our ADR's have been made. We're doing deluxe dining for the first time and are a bit worried about overeating, but you only celebrate ten years of marriage once right?

Thursday December 16th - Akershus 8:00, Le Cellier 1:10, California Grill 7:30 (our actual anniversary and the only one where DH and I will be without our two kiddos - Xander 5 and Rora 4)

Saturday December 18th - Tusker House 1:00 for Nemo seating
All other meals will be come as you are. Flame Tree is a must have for DH. Wolfgang Puck Express is a maybe, as is Earl of Sandwich. Gotta have the pretzels in Norway too. DH buys a few and we eat them for breakfast every morning (always pack baggies).

DH asks me today if there is any other planning we need to do because we both love that part of it all. Um, well I need to call and sign the kids up for Kids Club for the night of our anniversary, but we're already so planned that we're sad. I love my Disney fix. Now we're on to the saving part to be able to pay for this....come on bonus! (I am a director at a childcare center and get quarterly and fiscal year bonuses). This is the last week of the fiscal year, so I should know within the next three weeks how close we are to being able to pay this off earlier rather than later!

Which one did you sign them up for? My kids did the yacht club one last year and I was disappointed in that one. I read one place tha tOKW has one and I haven't found any other info about that one. I was going to give them one more shot.
