perhaps a candlelight processional package (when they become available), a fantasmic package, a sleigh ride, a fireworks cruise, a segway tour. depends on how big your budget is....
My budget is.... how ever much I can spend before DH gets the credit card bill. :lmao:

Thanks for the tips! When can you book the candlelight processional and sleigh rides? :confused3

Count us in too!!!! We just got back from 8 glorious days at the World and while we were there we booked a bounceback!!!! 5 days/4nights at the Contemporary Atruim club level December 17th - 21st!!! Never been before for Christmas!!! SOOOOOO EXCITED!!!!!

Still waiting for CP info, but other threads and news articles mention Jodi Benson (voice of Ariel!) will be a narrator. Apparently, she will be performing before she departs for the DIS Podcast Cruise on December 12th.

Since Steven Curtis Chapman already listed his dates as Dec 12-15th, we may be able to expect Jodi as the act before him.

Wish they would just confirm everything already!

Ooh, an additional thought. D23's Magic & Merriment weekend is December 11-12th. If they follow last year's schedule and view the CP on Saturday the 11th, it may be Jodi Benson. If they do it on Sunday, it may be Steven.

Ughhh...why can't they just release all this information together?!?

Me too!!!! Sad to say though it may be end of July and into August before they release CP dates and narrators!!!!:scared1: I talked to a CM earlier this week and he said they were getting a lot of requests for the CP Dining Package, but his computer was still showing 2009 stuff. Since they changed ADR times from 90 to 180 other things should be posted within that time frame too!:thumbsup2 I know a lot of you will agree with me-I like to get things taken care of as far in advance as I can and then I can enjoy the rest of planning!:thumbsup2

Sleigh rides are available to book now at 180 days in advance. Call 407-939-7529 to book. We just booked ours 2 days ago (first day they were available to book in the reservation system). :cool1:

Can anyone give me te details on the sleigh ride... How much the cost? where they are? Weither I need to pay in full when I book or just a CC to secure?

OMG would LOVE to see Jodi Benson. I am there the 3rd-11th so I would be able to see her if she is narrating the 8th-11th! I had planned on doing CP early in the trip but would definitely chnage if I was able to see her!

The Sleigh ride is $60 and needs to be paid in full at time of booking. They are at Ft. Wilderness (not sure if they do the sleigh ride at POR too - but they do have carraige rides). I think the rides can fit 4 adults or 2 adults and 3 children.

So, I'm confused.... Can you book CP at 180 or 90 days? :confused3

You're supposed to be able to book the CP dinner package 180 days out, but they have not released the dates into the reservation system yet. Once they do that, you can book 180 +10 days in advance. However, if they don't release the dates until mid July, everyone will be able to book at the same time because everyone will be beyond the 180 day mark. Many of us are anxiously (and not very patiently - me anyway) waiting for the CP dates to be loaded into the Reservation system. Hope that helps!

Southwest has their flights for December available. The early morning Saturday flight started at $100, but has already jumped up to $118. Is this about the lowest the fare usually is from Philly to Orlando?
It looks like I will be using US Air for the return trip, Southwests last flight on the 18th is 5:45 PM, US Air has a 7:30 flight and it $128 vs. $145 from Southwest. The later flight gives me more time to enjoy Disney.

I would book at that rate. We got a US Air rate back in mid January for $109 pp each way. I had just missed it by a week being $99.

We went ahead and booked my flight the night we made the decision to go. Leaving from the NYC area on Christmas Eve and coming home on the 27th, we figured the odds of it getting better than the $384 including taxes were slim to none.

OK, just booked airfare. $100 pp to get there $118 pp to return, so average $109 each way. One less thing to worry about.

Just talked to a CM this week to ask about CP Dining Packages-he checked the computer and it still showed dates and times from last year, so it hasn't been updated yet. The CM did say they had received a lot of calls about this and I told him it was probably because the ADR schedule had been changed from 90-180 days. Hopefully it won't be too long before we know something!!!!!

New ADRs added to the list on page 45 :thumbsup2

Today I booked... a sleigh ride!! :santa: 13th December at Fort Wilderness (I believe there are also sleigh rides at WL, but I really want to see all the FW decorated camp sites!).
Spoke to a really lovely Cast Member - as much I like booking my ADRs online now, it's always nice to speak to someone at Disney IMO :goodvibes
She asked if I'd like to book my ADRs and MVMCP tickets too... but I said I'd already done those! :cutie:

When booking the sleigh ride - the CM asked if I was celebrating anything, so I mentioned that DF & I just got engaged so we were sort of celebrating that... and she made a note of it! .. wonder if there'll be any added pixie dust :wizard: (I've made sure all our ADRs have 'engagement' noted on them too!)

I'm deciding whether to add a little gift to the sleigh ride too... the CM put me through to the Disney Florist, and a lady there described a small gift basket they could do which has has two flute glasses & a half bottle of champagne :lovestruc - sounds lovely but I think we might be heading into MK after the sleigh ride, and then it wouldn't be practical to carry around glass  ! so I haven't ordered anything yet.. maybe I'll order a gift to be delivered to our room instead (I love the Disney Florist!)

The SR is a surprise for DF ... just 6 months to keep it a secret :scared1: lol

Emma princess: x

After a long talk, DH and I decided to go ahead and book for our tenth anniversary. We'll be at Pop from December 12th - 18th with our two kiddos. All ADR's are booked for deluxe dining and now I'm just trying to figure out any other ways to make it special for DH. He's an amazing dad and husband!

Please let me know if anyone has any luck booking the CP. I'm hoping to get in before they fill up! :)

okay, i have updated the LIST OF ALL DECEMBER disers= wow there are a lot of us that first and second week!
http://www.disboards.com/showpost.p... have to be right before or right after that.
