Hi Everyone!!

DH surprised me today with a trip back to the world during the holidays (the only time we've never been)!!
We are staying at POP from Nov. 28th through Dec. 6th.

Let the planning start!!!!

Ok DISers, I need some help. I remember reading before about some of the resorts being nicely decorated around the holidays. The only one that comes to mind other than AKL is Boardwalk. Which other resorts are a must see around this time of year? :santa:

For me the must-sees other than AKL and BW are BC, YC, WL and GF.

WooHoo!!! Just made our first dining ressies for our first two days!! :cool1::cool1:

So we have:
12/9 - Boma
12/10 - Chef Mickey's
12/10 - San Angel Inn
12/10 - Le Celier

I feel like I am going to faint! I am so excited!

Well I made my last 2 ADRs this morning for the last day of our trip, December 10. I once again got exactly what I wanted- Chef Mickey's late breakfast and DH's only request of Planet Hollywood!!! I'm so glad to have that all done, and even before my original 180 day mark! Now on my 180 day, all I have to do is call for the BBB! Oh, and I started my PTR yesterday as well!

:cool1:MVMCP tickets arrived in the mail yesterday! I had lie and then to hide them from the kids because I got overly excited when I opened the envelope and they wondered why I was so excited....still haven't told them we are even going to Disney.

I have most of my ADR's done and so far I have received what I wanted. Tomorrow I will be on an airplane at 6 AM so I hope I will get what I want for Sat, Dec 11. Can't make CRT until Monday morning, so I will have to set my alarm and get up early.

What day is the ADR window open to now? I am still stressing about my darn ADRs. I have no idea where we want to eat for 3 nights we are there. So maybe you guys could help me decide

I need one in Epcot thinking Coral Reef, Beirgarten or Rose and Crown. Have Lecelier and we have done Akershurs and Teppen Edo so they are off the list.

Also need one for in or around MK. We've done Ohana and CM is already on the list as well as CRT. I was thinking maybe Kona, Wave, Plaza or Grand floridian cafe.

Is there someplace else you would recommend? ADRs are really killing me this year.

we haven't been to rose and crown, but loved both the coral reef and beirgarten! out of the two, i would say you will have the most fun, unique, and memorable experience at the beirgarten.

We had breakfast at The GF Cafe on our last trip in '08. My DH and DD said the lobster eggs benedict was to die for. Their lunches are also great but we are opting to do breakfast in December.
The Coral Reef was fantasic and Le Chefs de France was the most memorable meal I have ever experienced. The food, the atmosphere, our waiter. Perfect.:goodvibes

What day is the ADR window open to now?

It looks like ADRs are open at 190 days if you go on-line (see this posting) or 180 days if you call. The on-line dining reservations does not apply to the dinner shows and you must have a reservation number for an on-site hotel that begins within the next 190 days. I haven't seen anything official on this. It just seems that is the way it is working.

Yes it is working that way. You can't book CRT either until your actual 180 day window opens.

ADR day for me, I was able to get almost all the ones I wanted, not able to get Le Cellier but I will keep trying, all my times are what I wanted except Tonys Town Square, that one I might have to rethink but I am so excited right now I can't think. I just need Candlelight processional to fall into place and I am set! I hope everyone else is having as much luck as I did!

ADR day for us as well. Couldn't belive it but we got evrything we wanted; including le Cellier, CRT for breakfast x2 and F! Package!!!! So excited....wish we were leaving tomorrow! Good luck to everyone else making their ADR's!!!!

Thanks I knew that part already I was wondering what day you can book up to now? Is it Dec 10th or Dec 11th? I just want to make sure I don't miss getting Lecelier. I can not for the life of me find where my ressie number is tonight so I can't check. Hopefully I find it soon.

Just completed all of our Dec ADRs. We're staying 12/1 through 12/7 at AKV with my 2 brothers and their wives. Got those reservations at 7 months.

12/2: Boma for dinner
12/3: Le Cellier for dinner then later the Illuminations Cruise
12/4: Hoop-Dee-Doo Review
12/5: Prime Time Cafe for lunch, Sci Fi Diner for dinner
12/6: Artist's Point for dinner

We usually just have one ADR per day otherwise I feel like I'm running from meal to meal. Looking forward to the Illuminations Cruise.

I was able to book the 11th today. Added Tony's to my ADR list. Can wait for the 180 day mark so I can book CRT. :santa:

Changed my dates to Nov 28 - Dec 4. Yay for the Monster pin. I was kiind of holding out hope for FD but with the 40% off it will be much cheaper to buy off site food since we don't need to buy tickets or anything. We're doing the one TS - Chef Mickey :goodvibes

Count me in as late to the game.

We're going December 30th for 8 nights - so we're spilling into January.

Only another month until I can make my dining reservations! :)
