We will be there from the 4-10 and are doing deluxe dining this time around. We are season pass holders so we go fairly often so we decided this trip to be more relaxed and get in as many new restaurants as possible! Here is what I have so far (I only need to book for our last day, and I will be able to do that tomorrow. For the 10th I am hoping for Chef Mickey's late breakfast and then Planet Hollywood late lunch, which is my DH's only request).
Sunday 12/5-
Lunch: Yak & Yeti
Dinner: California Grill
Monday 12/6-
Breakfast: Kona Cafe
**hoping for BBB at 10:00 in the castle**
Lunch: Crystal Palace
Dinner: 1900 Park Fare
Tuesday 12/7-
Lunch: Hollywood & Vine
Dinner: Garden Grill
Wednesday 12/8-
Breakfast: Cape May Cafe
Lunch: LeCellier
Dinner: Ohana
Thursday 12/9-
Breakfast: Ohana
Dinner: Whispering Canyon Cafe

All of these are EXACTLY what I wanted and within 5 minutes of the times I wanted!
love it, you have a ton of my favorites in there too! sounds like an amazing deluxe dining adventure!:thumbsup2

I got us booked through the 9th this morning. The only two that I'm having trouble with are T-Rex and the Spirit of Aloha dinner show. I just can't find Spirit of Aloha (or Hoop Dee Doo or Mickey's Backyard BBQ), so I'm assuming that I'm going to have to call member services for that one. It says that T-Rex doesn't have availability, but surely that's not right. I can't imagine that I was able to get a Le Cellier ressie that week and not T-Rex!! :scared1:

I'm thrilled that I was able to get everything we wanted, for generally the times we wanted. I made some ressies that I will probably cancel, but I'm still debating our touring plans on the 4th, 5th, and 6th. :teacher:

As of right now, we also have a CP ressie on the 5th! Maybe we'll cross paths! :goodvibes
woo hoo, glad you got what you wanted. yes, you have to book the dinner shows differently i think by phone- i can't remember, but they might make you pay up front? anyone remember?

Can I join the party?

December 18-23 BWV
Me, DH and our DD who will be 17 months.

I have my PTR in my signature.
welcome to all the december newbies!

Still waiting for park hours.....:rolleyes1 We'll be there 12/10 - 12/22 with a DCL cruise in the middle.
Hi Jenn!!!!!! You and 700 of your closest friends? So sad I am missing the cruise this year, but it just wasn't going to happen for us. Hopefully i can see some of you before you head off. We are there the 4-11th. What days are you doing pre-cruise? Is there anything going on pre-cruise on the 10th or 11th during the day? we leave at like 6pm on the 11th.

Just spoke with a CM at Disney on the phone and was told ADRs for the Candlelight Processional Dining Package will be available within the next 10-14 days. Hope she knew what she was talking about and not just saying what she thought I wanted to hear--- but I was actually trying to see if the ADRs could be made now and when told no, just inquired when and got that reply. Anyone else heard any similar news?:santa::santa::santa:
woo hoo- great news. i will keep trying to call then in a few weeks and see what happens.

No!!! I was looking on the main page.

Thank you!!!!!!!!

Ya'll know about 700+ DISers will be in WDW for the DIS Unplugged Podcast Cruise, right?
:thumbsup2;)

What day is the ADR window open to now? I am still stressing about my darn ADRs. I have no idea where we want to eat for 3 nights we are there. So maybe you guys could help me decide

I need one in Epcot thinking Coral Reef, Beirgarten or Rose and Crown. Have Lecelier and we have done Akershurs and Teppen Edo so they are off the list.

Also need one for in or around MK. We've done Ohana and CM is already on the list as well as CRT. I was thinking maybe Kona, Wave, Plaza or Grand floridian cafe.

Is there someplace else you would recommend? ADRs are really killing me this year.
i really enjoyed Coral Reef- we did lunch last December. I was pleasantly surprised. Plus the atmosphere is great. today, the ADRS are open through the 12th i think. I was just able to book my last few days now!

Just completed all of our Dec ADRs. We're staying 12/1 through 12/7 at AKV with my 2 brothers and their wives. Got those reservations at 7 months.

12/2: Boma for dinner
12/3: Le Cellier for dinner then later the Illuminations Cruise
12/4: Hoop-Dee-Doo Review
12/5: Prime Time Cafe for lunch, Sci Fi Diner for dinner
12/6: Artist's Point for dinner

We usually just have one ADR per day otherwise I feel like I'm running from meal to meal. Looking forward to the Illuminations Cruise.
looks great. We love all of those, but haven't tried Artist's Point yet. I need to put it on the list. i bet the cruise will be amazing!

Okay, so i was able to book all my ADRs!! got everything i wanted, including Le Cellier for great times!

Now, only two things to book still- i want to try and get into the new Mexico restaurant on our first night to watch Illuminations from there. Plus the CP package. Until those are available to book, I booked something else instead, so I have a fall back if those don't work out.

here's what i got- many at the exact times i wanted!

12/4- Tutto Italia dinner 7:20pm (hoping to get Mexico this night though instead)
12/5-Crystal Palace breakfast 8am
12/5- Sci Fi dine in dinner on EMH night 6:30pm
12/6- O'hana dinner 5pm (trying to get over to MK by 7 for Spectro!)
12/7- nothing- eat fast food lunch, dinner in room
12/8- Tutto Italia dinner 4:40pm- hoping to get CP this night though for the late showing, might try for Le Cellier package and move Tutto to Friday 12/10 instead.
12/9 Le Chefs de France lunch with Remy- 12:30pm
12/10- Le Cellier dinner 7:45pm on EMH night
12/11- Chef Mickey's breakfast 10:05am (check out of BLT, then late breakfast)

Hi Michelle!!! Todd made a thread on the PCC 2.0 forum with links for all the pre and post cruise meets. I'm sad you aren't cruising again. I hope we can meet up as we would love to see you again and meet Will.

We are driving in  on the 10th and stay until the 22nd.

Made my ADRs yesterday and got everything I wanted but T-Rex. I know I have read that I can call T-Rex and make ressies through them. Does anyone know how far out I can do that...can I do that now or do I need to wait till closer to time.

So excited. Got everything I wanted but T-Rex...including Le Cellier!!!

Ok, gots a question that I think I know the answer to already, but wanted to check.

We are staying at AKL and have a 7:15 ADR @ Chef Mickey's on 12/10 and a 7:30 ADR at Ohana on 12/11. What is the best way to get to them? Are the buses running at that point yet ro do we just need to shell out the $$ for a taxi? TIA!:goodvibes

What time does the park open those days? The buses start running atleast an hour before the park is supposed to open. Best way to get to them is to jump on a bus to MK and then jump on the monorail. If parks open at 8 then you may just be a tad late for your CM ADR.

Why are you waiting to book T-Rex? You can book T-Rex via the online booking system. I booked our ADR this morning for T-Rex for Sat Dec 11 via the online reservations.

The only ADR left for the day I need to go to T-Rex is for 9:30...way to late for DD (4) and DS (3) to enjoy it.

I am trying to book Le Cellier for 12/7 and everything is already sold out between 3-7pm! And it isn't even 180 days in advance yet! Do you think they are holding some inventory for the CP packages or possibly for the 180 days in advance or is everything truly booked up??

It just seems crazy, but I guess the news about the new early booking ability has spread like wildfire!

I just booked T-Rex for the 10th but only had 5 and 8pm, I was hoping for a 6 or 630 but am ok with what we got!

Also got Cali Grill for 12/9 for 755, so we will be having dessert right around Holiday Wishes :santa:

Lastly I am concerned about early buses on 3 days and hope to get some advice:

On the 7th we plan on eating at Chef Mickey's but want to do it as early as possible to get to MK. MK opens at 9 but Epcot has EMH starting at 8am. What would the earliest time you would book CM for, and how would you get there?

On the 8th we are doing a Segway Tour at 745am (we have to do 745am, as it is the only one eligible for discounts). How will we get there in time, will we need to taxi?

On the 9th we want to eat at Boma for breakfast (we are staying at CSR), AKL opens at 9am, MK has EMH starting at 8am. What would the earliest time you would book Boma for, and how would you get there?

Thanks! SOOOOOOOOOOO excited that WDW is only about 6 months away!

We went last year Dec. 1 - 8 and the morning of our 90 + 10 window I was on the phone at 7:00 am & tried to book Le Cellier for our Candlelight Processional package on Dec. 5. The only tier 3 restaurant with availability was Coral Reef. So, yes, I do believe that they hold them for CPP and they go quickly! If we had been staying 10 days maybe we could have gotten in at the very end of our stay. We did go to Le Cellier for a 2:15 or so lunch one day.

My BIL was just telling me about changes coming to LeCelier for the fall this year. It i supposedly going to become a signature restaurant and offer fewer tables. The fewer tables thing makes no sense to me. Has Disney ever changed its restaurants like that during the year before? I would think they would institute something like that on Jan 1?:confused3

Vicki- the parks open @ 9 both days. I read somewhere before that buses will run earlier for character dining, but can't find anything more on that.

[/FONT]Has anyone read/heard anything about when reservations might begin for the new restaurant at Mexico Pavillion in the World Showcase at Epcot? :santa::santa::santa::santa:

Do you get to choose what time you want for the CP if you book a dinner reservation? Last year, we had a late
lunch at Nine Dragons (which was not very good-- small portions of ok food) and went to the early (5:00 pm) CP. This year we want to go to the latest CP
but like to eat a late lunch/early dinner. Thanks for any advice/suggestions/tips.

Assuming things haven't changed since the last time I did it in 2007, there's a specific one hour time frame for each showing. I know for the 5:00 showing the time frame was 1:45 - 2:45, so based on that I would guess that for the 6:45 show the time frame would be 3:30 - 4:30, and for the 8:15 show it should be 5:00 - 6:00.

I just tried to do an ADR for Askershurs on Dec 12th and it said I needed to give them a credit card to hold the reservation. I thought that was only for CRT....just wondering

Last year we went to the 8:15 CP and the only CPPs available for our date were Coral Reef and Marrakesh. We chose Coral Reef, but since it was a long walk from there to the American Gardens Theater we arrived early for our 4:45ish ADR and were seated early. Glad that worked as by the time we finished our meal and got in line at the theater many were already there but we still got to choose good seats near the front.

Thinking about a Chef Mickey's dinner before the MVMCP. Any ideas about how long we should plan for a Chef Mickey dinner? If we can get a 5:00 pm reservation, I assume being at MK by 7:00 wouldn't be a problem, but wondering how late we could do Chef Mickey's and still get to MK for most of the events at MVMCP.

I would think that would give you a good amount of time.

you'll save time if you can walk to MK after dinner, because the resort monorail goes around the circle in the opposite direction and stops three times before reaching MK. :goodvibes
