ah yes, we are from Dallas- well just outside in Plano. We live about 20 minutes from DFW airport and are BIG cowboys fans. My sister actually dated Tony Romo before he was famous (back when he was third string!):thumbsup2

So Question for those that know the CLP- what are the slated times for you to eat dinner if you are doing the second or third show? I read on another thread that CLP info might not be released until late summer, so i want to try and book my epcot meals for the 'right time frame' so one can be for the CLP package later. i know if you want to do the early show (5pm) they say to do lunch from 1:45-2:45. but what about the other two shows? anyone know?
The MouseSavers website mentions eating at 3:30pm-4:30pm for the second show and 5-6pm for the third show (http://www.mousesavers.com/wdwspecialevents.html#candlelight).

And I'm not sure how that works about booking a dinner ressie in advance of CLP booking. But I'm sure you can always try to book it and just cancel if they won't honor that reservation as part of CLP.

That is awesome about Romo and your sister! (and my husband is technically from Irving).

Hmm...that's a good point. So, if we want to attend the second show, we should make ADRs at our CLP restaurant of choice for 3:30-4:30pm? And then later try to change it to a CLP package? I think our ADR window opens on June 11, so I'm hopeful that the Dec. hours will already be up and I'll have a little time to plan before it's time to make the ADRs.

My DH works near Irving! too funny. :)

thanks for the info -that helps a lot.

not really sure- i read somewhere else just today that you can't just make regular ADR and convert it to the CLP later. I think you have to book the CLP package originally. so who knows. my ADR date is june 7th i think, so i'll just call and ask then if i can go ahead and book the CLP, regardless of not knowing hte narrators

UGHHH still no luck with BLT. I called yesterday and again today and I was going to walk the ressie for 2 days but they are missing one night for BLT. I am going to call tomorrow since its our 7 month mark and see what I can get. I tried for a 2bd at boardwalk and they were missing 2-3 nights depending on view. So now I am going to see about maybe doing a splist stay. I will be there in Dec no matter what though.

I will definitely book it if it's available....it makes sense that if you can book ADRs, you ought to be able to book the CP packages too, right?

I kept reading other posts about people being impatient for their park hours to come out....and oh no! It's ME! All of a sudden I'm checking disney's website 3 times a day to see if the Dec. hours are up yet! :santa: Did you ever see that commercial for Mervyns where the people are standing outside the door saying "Open, open, open"? That's me on the Disney website..."post the hours, post the hours, post the hours.":upsidedow

lol, you are not alone. we need a support group.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!! Since you first posted this link some posts back, I've been checking religiously. It finally changed to December 2010 hours!

Get your calendars out! Plan, plan, plan!! :yay:

btw- this website typically has the hours out first, although there is no guarantee they are 100% correct, but usually they have been. it is a travel agents site I think? (if there are TA's on here, perhaps they can confirm). of course you would need to change out the month in the URL.

Great. Thanks!!!! I printed out the one for Dec. and am going to compare it to my "DVP" (dream vacation plan). :flower3:

Thanks for sharing the updated link. We can now plan the rest of our trip. We already knew which night we wanted to do MVMCP.

Thanks for the link to the hours. They are cut WAY down from last year, which was cut way down from the year before. Now I can start planning our ADRs. YEAH!!! Of course I have no clue where the heck we are staying but I will know where we will be eating LOL.

Hello all-
I just reserved 12/8-12/14 at OKW to celebrate my DD's 9th birthday! Wanted to get to WDW while she's still eligible for the child price! :thumbsup2 Enjoying reading everyone's plans and still trying to decide my dining choices - especially where to eat on her birthday, which will be a Monday. :santa:

i am so sorry Vicki!! i really hope it comes through for you- what are your dates again? a split stay isn't a bad idea either, i've considered it just for fun. :goodvibes i am hoping we can get BW or BC for october next year, but since we own BLT, i'll have to wait for 7 months too. ugh!

Don't despair, a split stay can be really great. Last year, we stayed at three different resorts over the course of a week and are hoping to do the same this year! It was a great way to "sample" resorts and change up the vacation in a fun way. Where you stay at Disney is only a portion of the entire vacation, so it will work out no matter where you stay!

yeah for my week (dec 4-11), it appears those two saturdays (12/4 and 12/11) are closing earlier than last year. Last year the MK was open until 1am those two saturdays. I am hoping they change it and extend it- i would especially think on the 4th, given it is parade taping day that they would stay open late. right now it says only 10pm. there are a few nights that AK closes an hour earlier than last year for my week too it appears.

Well I called again today and still no BLT. Since we are staying 8 nights I couldn't even waitlist the whole thing yet. I was able to get a 2bd dedicated at SSR for Dec 18-25. Tomorrow I will call and add the last night and then do the waitlist for BLT. I would definatly do a split stay but with 3 kids its just a lot of stuff to pack. Plus DH would rather not move at all. DH is actually happy about the SSR dedicated so thats good. He was SOOOOOOO not happy with me when I canceled our AKL ressie and then couldn't get a 1bd.

Now trying to decide if I should use the little bit of extra points I have left to book 1 night at HHI for our drive down.

This will be our 3rd year doing this week and I thought it was insane when they cut the hours last year. The first year every morning MK had EMH and almost every night they had EMH or were open until midnight. Definatly looks like I will not be as tired as I was years past LOL. Now to work on our ADRs. I guess I know what the kids will be doing tonight!! Picking our restaurants! This is my FAVORITE part of the trip.

I am so obsessed and desperate about our trip! We will be there from Dec. 18th-Dec. 28th for a split stay at the Tree houses for 6 days followed by AKV Jambo for 4 days. Ugggh I'm ready to make my ADR's already. SW hasn't released December flights. What do I do with myself. Oh yeah, I come here, watch Disney videos on youtube and it's still not enough to cool my burning desire.

I must go to the wrong page to view hours because I still can't see anything for December :confused3
