Howdy all,
We started planning a trip for Sept, then changed to Nov, then changed to Oct and now it looks like Dec. 2nd(so we can get free dining) through the 11th. Looking at MVMCP on Dec 5th and the Wishes Dessert Party on Dec 8th. We will be staying at the Pop. We went this same week last year and it was a great time to be there.

ADRs made (these will change many times between then and now LOLOL):

1900 Park Fare Breakfast
Olivias dinner
Dec 4th:
Cape May breakfast
Cape May dinner (we love this place)
Dec 5th:

1900 Park Fare early dinner
Dec 6th:
50's Primetime lunch
Captains Grille dinner
Dec 7th:
Cape May dinner (did I mention that we love this place? lol)
Dec 8th:
Trails End lunch
Dessert Party
Dec 9th:
Beirgarten lunch (will probably rebook this as a Candlelight Processional Package)
Chefs de france dinner
Dec 10th:

Hi, we travel out on 18th December and our ADR's are.....

Breakfast at Cape May Cafe 18 Dec
Breakfast at Crystal Palace 21 Dec
Breakfast at Boma 26 Dec
Dinner at California Grill 26 Dec
Dinner at T-Rex 1 Jan

I'm also hoping to book the Candlelight Processional when they are released.

We are going to celebrate my birthday and retirement... staying at POFQ... we got our ADRs but are going to change one for Candelight Processional and hoping to see Whoopi... we haven't been back to Disney in 20 yrs.:dance3: Tried to book ADRs on nights we'd be in same park late.....

ADRs

Fri -Biergarten dinner
Sat - Liberty Tavern dinner
Sun - Prime Time Cafe dinner
Mon - Boatright's (maybe, we are staying there but....)
Tues - Boma
Wed - Coral Sea Cafe lunch
Thur - Chef Mickey's breakfast

Ok, Here are our ADR's and I am pretty happy with them, except for Biergarten, that is for DH. I guess since I pretty much picked everything else, I can let him have 1 choice, he is excited about HoB.

Dec 22 Tusker House Breakfast
Dec 23 House of Blues Dinner
Dec 24 Akerhaus Breakfast
Dec 24 Biergarten Lunch
Dec 25 Crystal Palace Breakfast
Dec 26 Chef Mickey's Breakfast

I just added the Fireworks Dessert Party for 12/25/10 at 9pm.

I doubt they will change, unless I can't get Dec 22 off I at work, but I don't think it will be a problem.

Suzanne

all added! if anyone wants to post ADR times (as well as dates) I can include those on the list :santa:

I'm super excited! We've been planning our third year in a row for a Disney Christmas vacation, but now we've saved enough money to stay on property. Soooooo, I just got our packet in the mail today. We're staying 10 days at POP Dec 16-26.

Congrats on being able to stay on property!!!:thumbsup2 We will also be at POP December 16-21! Maybe we will see you there!!!!:cool1:

Grrr....the Disney Press Release says to call for Candlelight Processional bookings, which would indicate they are now available. So I just talked with Disney through their online chat and they said, yes, CP bookings opened up yesterday. They told me I needed to call the dining number to reserve.

So off to the WDW-DINE number I went, only to be told that bookings have not opened up yet.

Really, Disney?? Why do they toy with us so??

We had exactly the same experience... when I called the CM went all the way to checking for available times on the 24th at Le Cellier and Coral Reef before she said she was sorry but CP reservations not available until late July

I was just told that www.wdwmagic.com is NOT an official Disney companies website and their posting about a newsrelease may have been an error and is not an official Disney release. ?????

Anyone into the whole Vinylmation thing? Wondering if they will have any special releases in December? If I could get a limited edition one I might actually buy one lol

so excited...just booked a special Toy Story Breakfast for 12/3 (it is an event thing not available with Disney Dining) Can't wait to see those characters!

Have not heard about this. How do I find out about it? My son would love this!

I just called Disney dining...and then called back to talk to special events and both CMs told me there is no dining with Toy Story characters. Anxious to see what you have booked and hoping they were wrong!

If I had to guess, I would say it is part of Mousetacular. This was on the site.

Friday, December 3 – 1:30pm

The Toys Are Back In Town... and it's your turn to play!
Delight in a great morning of Pixar fun. Enjoy a great hot and cold
buffet along with time to meet and greet favorite Pixar friends!
A special autographable souvenir is included for each child.
The experience wouldn't be complete without a visit to
Pixar Place for a favorite ride prior to park opening!!
We'll see you in infinity and beyond!!

The full holiday lineup for WDW has been released. Nothing new from previous years. No sign of Lights of Winter returning.
wow, don't you love the consistency in their communications and staffing knowledge!? lol

i would guess so as well- so it is basically a private party that was booked and that travel company is selling tickets to attend it. sounds like fun!

Much like the toy story private party the DIS hosted this past December in pixar place. It was free though since i booked through Dreams. It will probably be set up the same- they had food tables set up throughout pixar place where we could wander around and get food (had a carnival theme so sausages, cotton candy, nachos etc.). Wood and Buzz were available for pics/meets in that area they are always in back there. The green soldiers were walking around too. Plus we rode TSM as many times as we wanted over and over with no lines. The party was after park closing- i think we were ushered back at 9pm or something if i remember right- and were there until midnight.

The moustacular party says the party is at 1:30pm, yet it mentions hot and cold buffet (which is usually associated with breakfast references in my experience) and says you can ride TSM BEFORE park opening.......so maybe their listed time is wrong? the park is open at 9am that day, so not sure why the 1:30 time- does anyone know? plus it says 'great morning' in the description too. I assume it will work similar to the party DIS did- the main characters were not roaming the streets or near the food, but in their usual area, you just were able to get more time with them and had little or no wait, it was great! We didn't get 'eat' with them though and based on the description, it doesn't sound like this is a 'character meal' either. so it is not a character meal, but characters will be available probably in their usual spot.

the party i did was great though and we loved it!

Yeah, I noticed the inconsistencies you mentioned above and it made me wonder a little. We don't have time for it anyway, but I hope anyone else makes sure all the logistics are correct!

it all looks like fun, but like you said, our schedule is already packed. DH wants to do the WISHES dessert party, but i simply don't have a good night we can do it! We are going to be in the MK on 2 nights of our trip- one night for MVMCP (do they even do them on those nights- i think not?)- another night we have a big Ohana meal at 5pm and hoping to get over and catch Spectro in time- not sure we will be hungry by then for tons of sweets! actually, hearing we are in the MK only two nights sounds depressing! but i guess when i look at it- we have one night in the room (watching WISHEs from TOW lounge at BLT hopefully!), 3 nights at Epcot and 1 at HS. WE only have 7 nights, so depressing after our last 10 night jaunt! lol

trying to do a meet with some old DIS moms friends from here too at MVMCP- we are just going to be on the go all the time!

Hi all!

We're booked for Dec 1st - 7th thanks to my husband who seems to boarder on being the bigger Disney nut than me. We were just there in May :)

I'm trying to find out if anyone has info on the Christmas Parade they're filming on Sat Dec 4th? Where can I find out more about it (what the crowds will be like, whether I should avoid MK that day etc).

:goodvibes
like others have said, i think you have to be 'registered' to actually be in the crowd, at least the good spots anyhow and i think they require you to be there as long as it takes. lots of standing around, backing the parade up, starting again, stopping, starting again and running it multiple times. It isn't going to be like watching the parade normally. They could be filming stuff around on that Friday too and possibly Sunday (especially if rain delay). I know this past year, i think the rain caused that one performance (was it Celine dion or someone) to be moved into the Grand floridian), which was gorgeous, but i bet challenging to film in there on those levels.

I for one, have no interest in doing the parade taping- i've done enough 'shoots' for work to know it isn't always a piece of cake with the stops and starts, but some people love it for the experience. I hear the rest of the MK isn't crowded that am, but by afternoon/evening, when filming is complete, a lot of those folks probably stay and it gets crowded. We plan to hit Epcot that afternoon /evening (we arrive that am). I plan to just avoid it.

I'm missing!

Motsmom - Dec 10-16 -Port Orleans French Quarter (birthday week!)

thnx
added!;)

Reservation made at Fort Wilderness Campground. We will be there Dec 5th to the 26th. Can't wait !!

Dave
added! and wow, long stay- must be fun! are you in an RV- do you decorate? :santa:

IS the parade filming really on the 4th? We will be there but that was going to be DHS day! Hmmm.. should we try and go or not worth it??

added!:thumbsup2

Just called today and added another hotel day. We are already at 10 days of park tickets so we didn't add any more park days. Really looking forward to a down day now. We are now going Nov 30-Dec10... still staying at Pop!! If you could change me that would be great! Thanks for putting all the time and effort into the list. It is great to look as see who maybe there while we are.
updated!;)

Hey, exwdwcm, great job! Of course, I have to make a change - I'm now at POR, not Coronado Springs. Same dates, though!

We're super excited to have our first Disney Christmas 11/28 - 12/4! By leaving in Nov. we're able to get around DH's work policy of no vacation in December. We're staying at AKL and celebrating our 14th anniversary. We have tickets for MVMCP on 11/30.
added! happy anniv!:lovestruc

Actually they are doing it on MVMCP nights! I have reservations for when we are there for MVMCP. :santa:

I'm so so so excited right now!!!

Just got a pin code for the blackout dates of free dining, so I was able to extend my reservation backwards 2 dates at POR from 6 days to 8 days, which mean Momma gets 2 more TS dinners to go book!!!

Because we'd already booked our flights, we ended up splitting the original stay in 2: 2 nights at CBR, room only and then the 6 nights beginning Dec 10 at POR. Now with the PIN I was able to cancel CBR and extend our original stay for the full 8 days we wanted with FD! WOOOHOOOOOOO -- love me some Disney Magic
