Here I thought I was being clever - but it seems like everyone is going the first week - we will be there 3rd - 12th. Saw the Christmas decorations on HGTV and couldn't resist. Trip is booked, now the restaurant and "add-on" tickets! Can't wait!

Holy Cow -

Our only disappointment last trip was we couldn't get a reservation at La Cellier. After reading some posts here, I realized I could already book, and am sure glad I did - half the trip it was already full! Got a reservation toward the end of the trip though. Thanks for the tips!

Going to MVMCP on the 5th for sure, ADRs are still kind of up in the air until CP packages are announced! I feel like I cannot confirm the rest of my plans until I know for sure what day I am doing CP! Hopefully they come out soon!

After taking a break from December trips for a couple of years, we're going back this December! We're really looking forward to MVMCP, Osborne Lights, Holiday Wishes, Christmas Around the World, and all the rest. But we're sad that they got rid of the Lights of Winter last year. That was one of our favorite things about Christmastime in WDW.

My ADR 'luck' continued today... we've got Kona Cafe for early dinner before MVMCP on the 14th!
Fingers crossed for booking Kouzzina tomorrow - sure it'll be fine. We're not going to any of the Signature/sort after restaurants (le cellier, etc) this trip, saving those all for honeymoon next year! :cloud9:

Hi all! I just called Disney Dining to check the status of the CP packages and was told that all of the dining agents recieved an email stating that the CP packages wouldn't be available to book until the end of summer :scared1:

Has anyone else heard similar news? I hope this isn't true, otherwise everything will be in flux until I tie that down. Well it could be worse I suppose. I will just make my preferred ressies each day and HOPE that I can get what I need when the CP packages become available!

My trip is Dec 10 to the 16th. Can I book my ADR's now. A CM told me I could not book until June 13th.

If you are staying on Disney Property you can book online 190 days in advance, only 180 in advance if you call them. The Disney Site will ask for a confirmation number and arrival date, then you can book your ADR's though the 14th. The 15th will be available tomorrow.

I was told today that it would be the end of JUNE when CP reservations will begin.

I went ahead and booked online today even though we are staying CL at AKL and I have the Advanced Itinerary Planning service. It was frustrating me that they couldn't book until 6/11 but others could book online earlier. What good is it to pay the extra for that service if people can book their own ADRs earlier??? :confused3

So....here's our plan:

12/8 Tony's Town Square (Dinner) (new)
12/9 Boma (Dinner) (MY FAVORITE!)
12/11 Sanaa (lunch) (new)
12/11 Whispering Canyon (dinner) (new)
12/12 Chef Mickey's (breakfast) (new)
12/13 Boma (breakfast)
12/13 50's Prime Time (lunch) (new)
12/14 Crystal Palace (dinner) (another favorite!)

I couldnt' get anything for LeCellier--that's what we want on 12/10 for lunch with CP.

I'll have the AIP office book our CP package and the Grand Floridian Tea Room.

What do you think? Will we like the new places????

Hi Michelle!!! Todd made a thread on the PCC 2.0 forum with links for all the pre and post cruise meets. I'm sad you aren't cruising again. I hope we can meet up as we would love to see you again and meet Will.

We are driving in  on the 10th and stay until the 22nd.
i'll miss you guys too!! Yes, i need to check Todd's thread then to see the pre-cruise stuff. :thumbsup2

I am trying to book Le Cellier for 12/7 and everything is already sold out between 3-7pm! And it isn't even 180 days in advance yet! Do you think they are holding some inventory for the CP packages or possibly for the 180 days in advance or is everything truly booked up??

It just seems crazy, but I guess the news about the new early booking ability has spread like wildfire!
i was surprised too- i tried to get Le Cellier at 190 days exactly in the am and it had the whole day booked already. i got one another day at a good time, but i was shocked at how booked up it was. they have to be holding some aside, i can't imagine it would be that full, but you never know.

My BIL was just telling me about changes coming to LeCelier for the fall this year. It i supposedly going to become a signature restaurant and offer fewer tables. The fewer tables thing makes no sense to me. Has Disney ever changed its restaurants like that during the year before? I would think they would institute something like that on Jan 1?:confused3
i've always felt LC was way too crowded in terms of tables. I feel like i am going to hit all the tables as I walk by, they are all so close to each other. and you feel like you are sitting inches from your neighbor and can hear their conversations. :confused3

Has anyone read/heard anything about when reservations might begin for the new restaurant at Mexico Pavillion in the World Showcase at Epcot? :santa::santa::santa::santa:[/FONT]
I want to know as well- i want it for our first night- 12/4!!

We booked Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party for Thursday ~ December 9th.:santa:

I believe if you are at the Magic Kingdom before the party starts you just go to one of the little stands they have set up and get you wristband, then you're good to go. We've always gone early:goodvibes
Linda
we plan to book for 12/9 as well! can't wait!

All of my ADR's are set:
Sat Dec 4 Akerhus 6:30
Sun Dec 5 Biergarten 6:30
Mon Dec 6 50's Prime Time Cafe 4:30
Tue Dec 7 Liberty Tree Tavern 5:15 and MVMCP
Wed Dec 8 CRT 8:05 am
Thur Dec 9 Kona 6:15
Fri Dec 10 Chef Mickey's 5:15
Sat Dec 11 T-Rex 1:00

I am so glad that we have all of this planned out. It makes the trip seem more real.

I tried to make my ADRs for Dec 10 to the 16th and even though we are staying on Disney property, it would not let me make my ADR's. It says it can be no longer than 180 days from the first day of your reservation. I'll try again tomorrow.

In small print, there is a link you can click on so you can retrieve your reservation.

Is the Fantasmic Lunch and Dinner Package still a fixed price? Last year, we saved almost $50 off the a la carte menu at Brown Derby with our Fantasmic Dinner. Does anyone know if it is fixed price or order and pay from the menu this year? Also, if it is fixed price, is there a difference between lunch and dinner. Can't find any specifics on the Disney site....:santa::santa:

I was told today by a CM on the phone that Hollywood and Vine was a fixed price buffet (already knew that) and that Brown Derby and Mama Melrose's were order a la carte and pay menu prices. I know that in Dec, 2009, we paid a fixed price almost $50 less than the menu price for what we ate. The waitress brought the bill for $140 plus then said wait you are here for the Fantasmic Dinner and brought a corrected bill for around $100. Hope today's info was wrong since saving on menu prices and reserved seating for Fantasmic were a nice perk!
