Congrats to everyone on the Mickey Mail . I have never heard of anyone not getting their vouchers until check in , that must be new?

We enjoy photopass, this way we get pictures of us together, I love using the different boarders, and you can crop and edit them. You just have to remember to take the time to go to the photographers and get the pictures taken. It really doesn't take that much time and it is great to have those memories with the whole family together.

For those of you thinking of going to the ABC taping at Magic Kingdom.. I've read on Main Street Mouse that Mariah Carey & Nick Cannon are rumoured to be there on December 3rd!

Hmmm... I always thought you got the stuff in the mail. I was coming to tell you not to sweat it just yet. We didn't get our till 23 days out. I was starting to worry!

If memory serves I don't believe I got any mail last year, but last year I booked the trip two weeks in advance so that may not be the best barometer.

This week I need to call Pop and add our room requests, preorder our photopass cd (yay for birthday money!), and renew my touringplans.com membership!

Maybe that will be the case with me as well. I arrive Dec. 6.

They said because we aren't flying or using Magical Express, we won't get our documents in advance. We'll see if they're right. I'll still be checking the mail each day!

I am just so excited, our vacation is so close! I'm not even thinking about the holidays!
2 of my sisters have already asked me where Thanksgiving dinner is going to be and my response was "You figure it out! You make the list (of who brings what) and notify everyone... NOT MY JOB!" I am the youngest of four and since my Mother had her stroke 5 years ago, somehow everyone above me abdicated and I am now Matriarch of the family. It's not like we do different things each year. They just want me to do it all!

Sorry if it sounds like I'm ranting. I just have more important things to worry about... like finishing my window decorations, checking my packing list, making sure my toiletries bag is fully stocked.
Also, my best friends father passed on Thursday and she is out of town so I am tending to her farm and I will be subbing for her at work this week. The good thing is, it makes for more pocket money for the trip, the bad thing is it makes a long day even longer!

Yesterday while shopping at the Dollar store for some Disney decoration items I ran into some people discussing Disney. LOL Of course I had to invade the conversation! Found out that the 52 year old man is going the week of Christmas and is a DVC. I think he talked me into it. We must have talked for 20 minutes about our plans. It was so cool to talk Disney plans with a stranger. He's so excited as well. 27 Days!

After reading through some of these posts on here I forgot Christmas is coming up. Eeek! I got to start shopping! BUT I'm too excited for Disney!

I know what you mean! I've been so preoccupied with planning our Disney trip that I sort of forgot that Christmas is less than 6 weeks away now and I've done nothing yet - ARGH!

38 days!

Yesterday started good, had the house to myself as DD, DM, and DB were gone, but things slowly went downhill, I developed horrible pain in my lower back and I was wondering how I was going to do at my friends wedding, luckily I was able to suck it up and get through it.. This was my first real wedding I had been to alone, luckily I got to sit with my other friend and her husband. About an hour after the dance started, I was getting bored as there weren't many people dancing so I decided to go meet some college friends at a college friend's wedding, plus I knew there would be alcohol as there was none at the first one and I thought that would make me forget about my back pain as well, by this point I had to limp to minimize the pain, it didn't. I got home about 12 and tried to sleep, but that didn't happen. I went up to my parents room about 2:45 to see if they had anything I could take, all they had was Aleve which didn't do much. Currently I am sitting on the couch waiting for my mom to get back with some medicine although now my dad had to go meet her because the trailblazer wouldn't start, it has just not been my weekend! Hopefully I feel better by Thursday (my birthday and midnight HP showing) not to mention I have school the next three days.

Sorry for my ranting, but this just stinks!

DS and I just finished putting up the Christmas tree. He moved it three times before he found the perfect spot. I am going to enjoy this Disney trip but I am really sad DS is unable to go due to school this time around. Going to look for some window clings today.
Also finally made some ADR's yesterday. I have never made ADR before as we have always been able to get into the restaurants we enjoy, but now with "free dining plans" I did not want to take the chance.

Okay, I have to celebrate!!! I have my tickets, finally!

I made it over to my military base's travel office on Firday, and bought the two 4-day park hopper tickets. It's official now!

The tickets themselves look pretty awesome. Mickey's head is filled in blue with white stars, and it has red stripes in the background. Still WDW with a touch of military.

Now, I have 33 days left to sit around and wait. I'm so impatient!

So sorry about your back pain! I have chronic back problems and I've had back surgery too! I feel your pain! Hope you feel better soon!

We won't receive our papers from our TA until we are just two weeks out, but it's worth the wait! One more month and we will be footloose and fancy free at WDW!

I think I'll make our luggage tags today! I've got someone making autograph books for the kids-I hope she can come through with a great design! PM if you need a personalized autograph book and I'll send you the info!

Well, we at 18 days now, after months of tweaking, rearranging and just flat out changing our minds, I THINK we about have everything the way we want it ( of course we still have 2 weekends to go so who knows LOL ).
We got our Mickey Mail from the TA on Friday, both ME and resort vouchers mail.
Did some rearranging of parks today based on TP crowd estimates.
Snagged a couple of ADRs that we cancelled then regretted losing but had no availabilty until this morning.
We will be celebrating our anniversary, and though my roommate's b-day is in August she decided that she will have her own personal celebration for that as well lol.
What follows are the ADRs we have as of today and hopefully they will stay this way for the trip.
(DisneyBarbie, you don't need to change what I have on the ADR list already, it can't be easy keeping that list current.)

Dec 2nd: arrival and 7:10 Restaurant Marrakesh
Dec 3rd: AK cs lunch and DTD cs dinner
Dec 4th:Seaworld with all day dining
