Just a tid bit to share. I've been to DW many times and everytime there is always something new and different so for this trip I found the best book that was published this year. Its small (so you can carry it in you bag at the park) and and has fold out maps. It breaks down all the parks with rides, food, and shopping sections. It has all the updates and everthing!

I just changed us over to Southwest. We have the 8:15 am flight on the 6th and coming home we are on the 7:00 pm 12/13. That is so funny and we are doing the parade the same night as you.

We will be WDW staying at BCV Dec. 7 through 14th. We are going to MVMCP on Dec. 9th. We started our countdown on Friday, Aug.29th. I went to Home Depot and got a lot of Mickey Mouse head paint chips and I have written different things on them, such as important dates, Disney trivia (from the internet and books) and information about the BCV, etc. The girls take turns reading one at dinner each night. I also punched holes in them and put them on a key chain type holder.

I just wanted to say that I changed my mind about the chain. Even though my kids are 2.5 and 3.5. I modified it though... I love the link that you posted. Unfortunately my kids would seriously think I was out to lunch if I read that to them every day. However, Im emailing them to dh's email address every day since he needs a little boost of enthusiasm for this vacation. lol

I have the coloured construction paper, so we can practice colours, and then taped to the inside I have a little rolled up (about 1/3 of a regular printer paper sheet) piece of paper that is tied with ribbon (like a present) and then on the outside I have them numbered to the days as a count down. The paper has little Disney characters that they get to colour. Also, One of the Disney websites have calendar (monthly) printouts. SO I dotted in the numbers for the days left and they get to trace them. Practice numbers and printing. THen they get to put a little Disney sticker on that day. Once the calendar is filled, they get to colour in the big Disney character that is on the top half of the month. SOunds complicated, but I had to make it educational at their level.

Also, was looking at all the resorts you have been to. That is awesome! I noticed Coronado SPrings isn't there. I have chosen CSR mainly because of the Pop Warner kids and this is a Conference location and read that the chances of them staying there were slim. Also, it looks beautiful, but don't they all!! I love the POR and the Carribean too. Im wondering if I should start looking at those just to be sure I have what I trully want. ACK!

We will be there 11/29 - 12/7 and then again from 12/28 - 1/2. We have a couple of different countdowns going on at our house and we are so excited!!!!! The first trip is for me and my two boys (7 and 4). My oldest sons 3rd trip and the youngest's first! He can't hardly wait! The second trip is for the dance team I coach. Me and 8 high school girls. That one should be interesting.

I'm going with my dad and sister...we'll there from Dec. 16-21 and staying at the Beach Club Villas for the first time!

We're also going to MVMCP on Dec. 18.

We are staying at Beach Club Villas! I hope it is warm enough to try out the great pool we have heard so much about. I see you are losing some weight for Mickey, me too. I have lost a little over 100 lbs since Oct. 2007. I would like to lose 35 more before we go. Keep it up, I know it is hard!

Love the chain idea. We will also be there Dec. 7-14 but staying at WL. I would love to do something like this except our plans right now are to surprise her. Otherwise, for the next three months we will not hear the end of it. So instead my husband and I have our own little countdown....95 days. At least we are now in the double digits

I did the chain last time. It was great for dd. This time, the trip is a total surprise. DD will find out when she wakes December 6th.
